My husband and I stayed here for a night in August 2012. After reading reviews from previous travelers about the bed and breakfast, we were very excited. The hostess Marlane was very nice when we made the booking over the phone. However, everything changed upon our arrival. First, we couldn't find the place in our GPS on our way from...

My wife and I stayed her in July 2011 for two nights on a bike tour in France. We stayed in a few chambres d'hote during our trip and this is easily the best., The hosts are helpful and well organised, the place is perfectly clean. As other reviews have remarked, the accommodation consists of a large bedroom with a...

Following a week in Paris we traveled to Narbonne to visit our daughter Aimee and son-in-law Stephane. Aimee recommended a Gite (think B&B) right in the center of Narbonne. Our suite exceeded expectations. We were treated to our private apartment - - great bed comfort, huge closets, flat screen TV/cable, mini-fridge. The bath area equaled a Paris 4-star including dual...

This was our second stay at this lovely and comfortable gite. It is a perfect location to view Narbonne and the surrounding areas. Rob and Marlane are friendly, considerate and charming hosts who ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. The apartment is clean and spacious. Several very good restaurants from family run to fine French dining are conveniently located....

My partner and I arrived in Narbonne after overnight flights, connections, and a train ride--pretty tired but excited to be in France. It was such a great pleasure to be treated like royalty, correction, like best old friends, by Robert and Marlane. They introduced us to Minervois rose and life in Languedoc-Roussillon. We had to depart very early the next...

We stayed a couple of nights in this charming apartment. It wasn't the easiest to find as we were stood right outside but could see no sign (as its an apartment you need to look for the small sign on the door with buzzer) Marlane and Rob are excellent hosts offering a great breakfast and very helpful local advice on...

We stayed only one night since we had to go back home to Sweden the day after. That really was a pity. We lived in something that seemed like our own room in a hotel, still it was a normal flat in the absolute centre of Narbonne. Owned by the most friendly couple you could imagine. They even helped us...

It's like having a small apartment in Narbonne. The owners have divided their house, as it were, in two: Their apartment one side and a smaller one on the other.. The place is spotless. It has both wifi and TV. The owners, Marlane and Rob are charming and helpful in every way. I recommend it highly.

Staying at the Place des Jacobins is like being at home away from home. Rob and Marlane O'Neill, who own and operate this B&B, are French speaking American ex-pats who truly love their adopted city. Their enthusiasm for the town and the surrounding region is contagious, and their knowledge of the area, its history, and its people is extremely helpful...
