We brought two groups of cyclists to this hotel during our tour of Catalonya. The hotel is situated just outside of the old town so it is easy to walk and see the sights. The staff could not have been more helpful or accomodating. Bicycle storage was in their underground car park and they reserved a place in front of...

We were stuck in Perpignan with a broken-down car for three days, but stayed at the four-star Hotel Mercure for two nights. The hotel was within a few minutes' walk of the old town, and the service was great, particularly the women in the dining room and at the front desk, who were very helpful and spoke good English. The...

The plan was to stay at the same hotel for 2-3 weeks, but after one night I had to move. The room I got was very small and the desk, that I require for work, was not large enough for my computer an a binder beside it. I have used Mercure in many other cities, but this one is below...

This hotel is nothing special. The rooms are adequate although the decor is dingy and tired and the corridors are particularly dark. Our room overlooked the canal and was very quiet at night but was on the small side although the beds were comfortable and it was nice to have a fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. It is reasonably central...

Well, what to say about this "Mercure". The best world is "disappointment". The hotel looks very, very tired and worse, how it looks it behaves. Small dark room, slowly tired lift, narrow corridors, awfull parking. A little girl in reception is overloaded with work, her duty is not only work as receptionist but also serve the hotel bar one floorvabove,...

Although the name of the hotel includes "Perpignan Centre", it's not really central - just outside the city walls. My single room was clean and comfortable. The water for my bath wasn't hot enough. Breakfast was disappointing - just a few processed cheeses, croissants sub-standard anywhere, especially disappointing in France.

Used the Mercure in Perpignan a fair few times over the years & it really seams to have cheapened its self right off . It is a good basic hotel in the centre of Perpignan , bedrooms are of a basic but good standard , breakfast choice was very much aimed @ the continental style , the eggs , bacon...

First of all at £240 for 3 nights the hotel was a decent price especially given its location only a 5 minute walk to the centre. The exterior of the hotel isn't the best & could do with some paint at least. Inside its small but adequate with a working lift, the hotel bedrooms are OK decent size beds &...

A good hotel in a quiet yet central part of the city. All reception & housekeeping staff were efficient and friendly. The hotel was clean & today day & night. The room was fine, as expected for the rating/price but not extraordinary. Although a bit of decorating should be in the near future, it wasn't tatty in any way. There...
