This is a beautiful home. Robert and Nadia are wonderful hosts.

They have a nice library of books which they make available to guests. They have books in French, German, and English, and perhaps more. Many of these books deal with Jeanne d’Arc.

They have a very cozy backyard and gardens complete with statuary and some very comfortable chairs. We spent a few hours there on a beautiful autumn day.

Breakfast, which was delivered to our room at our chosen time, consisted of croissants, baguette, yougurt, and a fruit compote.

Le Clos Domremy is a great value and a comfortable 5 minute walk to the home of Jeanne d’Arc and Eglise St Remy.

We were making a sort of pilgrimage to different Joan of Arc sites in France and this is the town she was born and raised in. We stayed two nights here in the Victor Hugo room. The room was very comfortable and clean and had lovely views from huge windows on two walls. The gardens here were beautiful and the place was very peaceful and quiet. The town is very small and quaint but close to the basilica and only about an hour and 15 minute drive to all the Verdun World War I sites. If you want night life, this is not the place for you but if you want quiet and charm, then this is perfect. It was one of our favorite B&Bs on our trip to France.

My Fiance and I travelled to Domremy in March 2016. We stayed in the Napoleon room, which was huge, especially when compared to typical European hotel rooms.
The breakfast was more than enough, my partner loved the fresh baguette each morning. Everything about this bed and breakfast was wonderful.
We got engaged while walking in the countryside nearby and I couldn't have picked a more romantic setting.

“My Pilgrimage to Domremy and meeting the beautiful people of France!”

Just amazingly personable service and attentiveness. It was like I was visiting my family in another country. You essentially are staying in your own private portion of the family's rustic, beautifully-appointed French farmhouse. Wonderful family, service-oriented, and experts in all things Saint Joan of Arc (which was my reason for visiting). There is an entire library room dedicated to their Joan of Arc collection of books, paintings and statues...great area for reading and relaxing. I LOVED my stay here, and I will be back! Thank you for making my pilgrimage one of the most transformative experiences ever.

We stay there one night, Victor hug's room. It was nice and clean. We could make tea or coffee they had a kettle. We also liked the possibility of having picnics on the garden tables, though we did not. The only thing we did not like at all was the poor quality of the breakfast provided. You are served breakfast before leaving and it does not leave you a good opinion of the place even if you liked it. It would be better not to provide anything.WiFi: basic
