Located a few minutes walking from the center of Metz, Cecil Hotel is a great alternative to regular boring hotel chains The beds were comfortable and the room very clean. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will definite return if I would go back to Metz

Booked this hotel last minute, as we decided not to drive through the night back to Germany. It was definitely affordable, but you get what you pay for. The beds were ok, no blankets on them though. The shower head was broken, so we had to hold it to take a shower. The parking garage is very tight. Hotel is... More

Conveniently close to the centre of Metz. Not too far off the A4. The hotel is clean but a bit dated. Breakfast was continental buffet, good value for money including cold meats and cheeses. The garage entrance is a bit tight if you have a larger car.

Friendly and helpful staff, but the building needs a revamp, the passages and stairwell feels grotty. Nevertheless we slept well and comfortably in our room. The lift is tiny, so if you have a lot of luggage it would be best to reserve a room on a lower floor, rather than to lug it up the stairs. The parking is... More

The hotel was nice and clean, room was comfortable, staff was helpful. I found parking easily on the street the first night but not the second. On the second night, they said we could use their garage. The entrance was quite tiny and I misjudged the angle of my car. Scratched the side of it pretty badly. I had to... More

I definitely recommend this hotel. Good standard, friendly staff, very clean. Good location with train station and public transport nearby.Quite rooms.Didn't have time for breakfast so that's why I can't comment on that.

Good base to explore the city and access the train. Close to Pompidou Centre. Good sites and restaurants. Unexpected gem of a city with plenty to see and explore. Easy and compact to move around no need for car or transit needed.

Just an awesome hotel, the personnal is pretty good, smiling and profesionnal. Nice Talking with the manager for my last day, nice person and he knows how to take care of his guests. The rooms are pretty nice, clean and quiet. Nothing else to say except it was a perfect stay for me and my friends. I advise you to... More

Very basic hotel which claims to be remodelled, but very little remodelization is showing. The bathroom fittings and equipment (hairdrier, etc. - feels like a public toilet) are old. The room fan barely worked and it was a hot weekend. The beds were comfortable. The elevator is very tiny, but when you think of tiny think of the paid parking... More

Our family stayed in the quad room, which was cramped, and a standard double room, which was under an extremely loud and busy stairwell. The receptionist was accommodating, and the hotel was in a nice part of town, next to one of the best restaurants in Metz. Overall, pretty clean, good value, but loud.
