This hotel had everything we needed. It was a bit quirky in that the reception was only open from 17.00 and there was no way in to the hotel before 17.00 unless you are pre booked. We were and so entering our reservation number in the on screen system gave us the entry codes for both the hotel and the... More

Stopped at this hotel because it had a good location. I was visiting the memorials around Verdun and ran short of time. Hotel appears to be build by the builders of the IBIS hotel chain. Room was okay. Halls were very dark as the lights were not working. Bed was uncomfortable even by French hotel standards. Ate supper and breakfast... More

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to stay, travelling by car on our way home from The French Alps to catching a ferry to Great Britain from Amsterdam. My husband wanted to find out more about the World War 1 Battlefields. The few hotels available in the area did not offer Sunday evening Dinner and The Prunellia did.... More

Wasn't where we were headed, but easy to find, right on the main drag. No treasure hunt for an Ibis at night when all you want is to get off the road. Hotel room was basic, but comfortable. No elevators. Restaurant on site but we didn't eat there, looked good though. Staff was pleasant. All spoke english. Plan on going... More

Stayed 1 night. Left passports and other documents in cupboard in room 43. On return all doc's had gone. Proprietess less than helpful - denied all knowledge and said we had left them elsewhere. Not true. Draw your own conclusions but we know that the passports etc were left in room 43 and were not there when we went to... More

We stayed one night here on our way home from a holiday in Austria. We didn't book in advance and only found the hotel after having spent some time looking for somewhere in the villages around Verdun. (BTW the roadworks mentioned in other reviews have long since been completed). We weren't very encouraged by the warmth of the gentleman on... More

My friend and I booked to stay at the Le Prunelia for three nights. We chose this hotel because the reviews were good. It took us 2 hours and 45 minutes to get into the street where the hotel is situated. The problem was that the road was being resurfaced and there was only one entrance into the road. My... More
