Brilliant hotel for the price. We wanted to be free to visit Verdun. This hotel provided the base. Excellent service - the reception staff were exceptional. Breakfast was good. The location was just outside central Verdun but we had no problems finding all that we wanted.

- very poor breakfast - not an appetizing breakfast room (too small if hotel was fully booked) - blankets, no eiderdown - no hairdryer in bathroom - very hard mattress - small bathroom - doorlock wasn't working well

Good location for the battlefields and walk-able distance to town (once you've worked out the way). Plenty of space in the car-park. Good breakfast, but poor bar facilities with no restaurant or outside seating / drinking area. Night club next door which kicked out at 4.00am in the morning which came as a surprise!! Pleasant staff who spoke English.

First thing to say is that this is a simple 2 star hotel and don't expect any more. The bed was pretty comfortable, crisp clean sheets and blankets make a pleasant change to duvets. Room was spacious. Some peeling paint around the base of the shower was unsightly but the rest of the room and hotel were actually fine. Cleaning...

Good value hotel with a large car park and some garages but a bit far from the centre, requiring a long walk or a short drive if you want to eat in one of the many good restaurants of Verdun. Helpful staff and very clean.

The furniture was new and modern but the decoration although clean was the original "wood chip type" paper that had had a further 27years of paint applied to it so there was very little investment in the fabric of the building over the decades. It claimed to have WiFi but we were unable to connect and tried with a few...

The hotel is clean, the rooms / facilities are basic but if all you need is a bed for the night it is convenient. there is a TV in the room. We could not get the wifi in the room though and this is a problem nearly all around the hotel - unless you are in the lobby or in...

A hotel with tons of character! Good place to stopover when Germany bound or if you wish to vist the WW1 attactions in the area. We would like to have seen the rear car park area paved and a seating area outside to relax in the warm August evening.

The room was good, decent size and clean. Same goes for the rest of the hotel; good value for money. Breakfast was more than sufficient. Only downside was bad wifi, only available in the lobby for us. Since we were out all day that wasn't much of a problem though.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. TV and free wifi are good. The breakfast was very tastefull with a great choice. The location is outside the city centre, but it's only a 10 min. walk to the citadel of Verdun.
