Unfortunately for Pierre, we stayed here for a week in the fabulously roomy Le Puy room. We finished our Gr65 in Cahor and stayed in this delightful town for 7 days. Pierre speaks excellent English and was so helpful during our stay. He helped us with maps, directions, places to go and not to go, booked restaurants for us, booked... More

After a hot days walking, the arrival at Chez Pierre was a nice relief. Cool inside and made to instantly feel at home. I was a bit concerned as to what I would find as the tourist association had no idea of its existence which I found strange in a small place. So a lovely surprise. A character filled old... More

Great location and very charming host who speaks excellent English. He has a wealth of knowledge about the area and breakfast conversations were always stimulating and interesting. Pierre bakes great bread! Our room and bathroom were huge. While the room didn't have lots of charming little decorative touches, that some people expect, we thought it was fine and we enjoyed... Lovely spot & value for money. In the historic part of the town & very close to its centre, the cathedral square. Pierre is welcoming & knowledgeable, & his place is quiet & comfortable. The decor is pleasantly eclectic.

It was easy to find Chez Pierre on our bikes as we rode into Cahors on our bikes, following the right bank of the Lot and turning right into Rue Etienne Brives till we reached #62. Abbreviated to R Brives on the street signs. Chez Pierre website has good directions. We were utterly delighted by Pierre's warm welcome and our... More

An unassuming yet delightful guesthouse set in the heart of historical Cahors. Pierre, the owner/proprietor is such an enthusiastic, people oriented person with a keen interest in all of his guests many of whom are in actual fact, pilgrims on the Chemin de Santiago de Compostela. Pierre will stamp your card as necessary if you too are a pilgrim along... More

“The first floor room at the front has a walk in shower in the ensuite bathroom. The first floor room at the back is more spacious & overlooks the garden, but the bathroom isn't ensuite & has its shower in the bath. Either is very pleasant.”
