I only spent one night at the hotel, unfortunately! My room was beautiful and extremely quiet. courteous check in and check out, courteous valet and good introduction to room facilities. would love to go back and stay a few more days.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on a recent driving trip through Southwest France. We had originally booked an additional night as we had planned to arrive at 9am and wanted to be able to occupy the room immediately. Because of the Air France strike, we had to take the train and arrived instead about 4:30 pm....

The Grand Hotel de l'Opera is ideally situated to enjoy the lively square and nearby museums and shops, yet when you are there, it feels secluded and private. Our room had a wonderful large covered terrace, surrounded by vines which made it feel very cosy. It was perfect for inviting friends to join us for drinks and some bridge as...

Firstly finding the Place du Capitole car park is a nightmare (they have created a lot of no entry and one way streets). The check in was swift and efficient and we were taken to our room on the second floor. It was large enough but decorated with dark red walls and curtains and looked foreboding and a little like...

The hotel is located right on the main square so it's easy to walk to just about anything you want to see. I was pleasantly surprised by Toulouse, it's lively and fun. Rooms were quiet and nicely equipped and our room had a private terrace. I liked the terrace and it probably meant our room was quieter but there was...

We arrived too early to check in but were able to leave our luggage which was waiting in our room when we checked in later. The décor is possibly slightly OTT - blue & gold velvet in the spacious reception area & red velvet in the bedrooms & corridors. Staff were very friendly with the exception of one porter who...

The rooms are very nicely appointed and extremely quiet. The staff is very wiling and able to help in arranging anything from massages to places to eat. It is situated right on the main square with lots of very, very good restaurants right outside one's door.

This hotel is, in many respects, a five star rating. It is situated on the main square next to the old opera house. It is an attractive and inviting building. The public areas are light, stylish and attractive and the bedrooms are large and inviting though the bathroom was quite small. The staff are helpful and obliging. But there are...
