Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I stayed for a week in September. The hotel is well situated in central Toulouse and in easy walking distance to all tourist sites as well as good restaurants and shopping. The rooms are well maintained and spotlessly clean. The staff were very pleasant and always helpful. The buffet breakfast was good with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel's Favourite
We had a lovely stay here. A highlight was the staff on reception who were all very friendly. The room was a comfortable size, well designed and stylish. There was tea and a kettle in the room, and a large water bottle outside. We stayed on the fifth floor and it was quiet at night, even though it was so central. It was on the Esquirol line and 5 minutes from the Capitole. The only issue was the bathroom - comfortable but the glass was lightly frosted and sound carried, so you need to be comfortable with who you are sharing with.

Our hotel which couldn’t extend our stay found us this one for two nights. The location of the hotel is perfect for sight seeing, metro right in front and streets that take you to central sights make for enjoyable walks. Hotel staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is a good value, offering juices, coffee along with a variety of fresh bread items, fruit cocktails , fresh cold cuts and all the other typical breakfast items for 10 euro, which compares well with area restaurants offering bread/ croissants coffees and juice only for 6-12 euros . The room was spacious , newly updated, clean with excellent firm bed and linens. The bathroom also had everything one needed and a good shower. A note here that the bathroom is frosted glass walls so everything can be heard and privacy may be a concern for some. The only reason I didn’t give the highest rating is that we had a non stop electric buzzing background noise and periodic clicking electric noise in the room all night so I could not sleep very well. It may have been an issue with our room only(201), apparently the last available room.Given we were leaving after 2 nights and no other options,I accepted it .

Hotel ok... nothing fancy but clean. Location central. Think it would be worth paying q bit extra for a much nicer hotel. Ordered a taxi to the airport through the hotel. They never turned the meter on and overcharged us. Hotel need to be more careful about the companies they use but were indifferent when we rang to advise them of this. We didnt want money from them we just wanted to let them know what the company was doing. The guys attitude on the phone was rude.

Totally OK place to stay. It’s a bit pricey for what it is, (somehow was 180€ for a Tuesday night even though it was 118? Gotta go through my bill more closely.) thé location is perfect- walkable to everything you might want to see in Toulouse. Rooms are clean, minimal, functional. The staff was great. As with some of the bigger cities the beggars with dogs are a presence and tend to congregate around the hotel.

We stayed in Hotel Pere Leon for 4 nights recently. It has a super convenient location (right by metro station) and is also walkable to major attractions... river, Capitol, good bars and restaurants. We asked for a twin room... Room 404 is dual aspect so nice and bright, with good space and air-conditioning. The bathroom isn't the most private...due to frosted glass walls. But I can live with it. We had daily room service and fresh towels when we needed them. Charming staff as well.

We appreciated the very friendly and helpful reception staff. I had requested a large room as we had a lot of luggage and was indeed given a spacious room that met our needs perfectly. The location is ideal for visiting numerous sites as well as being close to a variety of restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again when in Toulouse.

This is a sweet hotel in a great location. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to go—the Toulouse “Trail” and the restaurants. I was travelling solo so it was important to me to feel safe. I loved the cute room set up too! There was a safe and a hot water pot with instant coffee and tea. I lived that I could open the window for fresh air. They also had a water station in the hallway I used to refill my water bottle. They were friendly and helpful.

If you want to spend 30 minutes to do basic internet things like check the weather while sitting in the hotel lobby, this is the place for you. WiFi was advertised as part of the room features. The WiFi was not reliable nor consistent for the two days/two nights we were here. It didn't work in our room and was so slow in the lobby that we gave up. When we asked management about it, they blamed our devices. (Our two smart phones and two laptops worked in the hotels we stayed at in Lyon, Bordeaux, Sarlat, etc.) This issue was never resolved. Thank you, management, for understanding that having reliable internet access is a staple for travel today.
