Hotel D’Orsay room 120 overlooks a very busy thoroughfare, but once the double glazing windows were shut and with a very quiet air conditioning unit on all night (to counter some 22 degrees centigrade after cold England) we slept undisturbed and comfortably on a 4.6. reasonably firm bed in a clean enough and plain room which was roughly 10x12 feet...

My parents and I traveled from Germany to Toulouse, Carcassonne and Albi. I chose the Hotel D'Orsay for it's location near the train station and was not disappointed. It was also in walking distance to downtown and we felt very safe to walk around the area even at night. The rooms were pleasant and clean, the staff was helpful and...

Spent two nights at the Hotel D'Orsay last weekend and were very comfortable. Yes, the area is near the Station and therefore not very up market however the staff are lovely and the beds are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is more than adequate with cereal, fruit juice, yoghurt, coffee and croissants/bread. Yes there is a sex shop and we also...

Excellent value for the price. The rooms were basic but clean. The air-conditioner was very efficient and quiet and the front desk staff charming and helpful. The hotel is directly opposite the train and bus stations. As other reviewers have mentioned, the hotel was situated in the red-light district, however we didn't get any hassle from the locals.

I was very happy that this hotel had A/C. It took me about 40 mins to find the hotel after getting off the shuttle from the Airport. It wasn't as close to the main centre as I was hoping, and the walk to and from was a bit sketchy. I think the neighbourhood wasn't the best, but for what you...

When travelling in France, I tried to stay in rooms costing about 40 Euros a night, so with that price range in mind, the Hotel d'Orsay in Toulouse is the best hotel I've stayed at in France. It was also a great value as the room was excellent and the price less than much inferior hotels. It was extremely clean,...

Hotel is close to the station, parking is round the block so a bit tricky but the manager explained how to get there. Once parked we didn't use the car till we left town. The hotel was fine but could do with a little upgrading. The staff were very helpful and friendly which was nice. We walked back to the...

Very clean hotel and convenient to the train station. It is a short walk to the city center and lots of places to eat nearby. There were some homeless congregating out front across the street but I did not find it an unsafe area to stay. The bathroom was clean and fairly spacious - it actually has a bidet along...

Hotel D'Orsay is located directly opposite the main railway station so is very handy if you dont know the area. Although there are a few restaurants etc around the hotel it is about 5 or 10 minutes walk into the main part of Toulouse and there are hotels that are more convenient for the attractions. Reception staff were helpful and...

What a little gem! OK so it just another two star city hotel when you come across it on the internet. The rooms are simple but are spotlessly clean and tidy. The staff are the real joy of this hotel. They are so helpful and friendly. The level of service is what I'd hope for if I stayed in a...
