We stayed two nights here, and it could not have been more pleasant. Right in the middle of the town, it was an easy walk to the cathedral, tapestry, restaurants and shops. The building is set far back from the street into a beautiful garden, none of which is visible from the street; the setting made it hard to find... More

We had an excellent all-around stay at the hotel last week. Not only was the property and hotel room top-notch (cozy classic and upscale) but the staff and service at the hotel made the experience that much better. After a hiccup with a rental car (we didn't bring drivers license), they made sure they did everything within their power to... More

I stayed here for 3 nights as I wanted to explore the countryside and do things outside of the big cities I visited including Rome, Amsterdam, and Paris. My room was in the back on an upper floor. The window opened out to their back yard where you could have breakfast during warmer times. I felt like I was in... More

Excellent base to explore the area, friendly staff, good food, clean comfortable room, car parking. Every thing you need close to hand if a little expensive. Fabulous market just across the road. Plenty to keep you occupied Will definitely return to the area and hotel

I stayed at Hotel d'Argouges for 1 night, on Nov 11. What a beautiful hotel this is! The exterior is stunning (and I can only imagine what it would be like when all the flowers are in bloom) and the interior has a classic traditional feel to it. The only issue would be the stairs leading up to the front... More

This was my third stay at this hotel. It is well situated in the little town of Bayeux. The staff is warm and helpful, the property is clean and well maintained. There is free parking on the property. Omaha beach and the American cemetery are less than 30 minutes away. Mont St. Michel is a pretty 2 hour drive from... More

This hotel is first and foremost in a wonderful location, perfectly situated for a visit to the beautiful town of Bayeux. Unusually for such a central location it also has a very convenient car park located to the rear of the hotel, which was a real bonus for us. The hotel is in a lovely old building, full of character.... More

A wonderful chateau / manor house dating from 1734 in the heart of Bayeux. Free parking and very helpful staff - all of whom (that we met) are fluent in English. The central location is surprisingly quiet.

Beautiful old Chateau style hotel set back from the main road in Rouen behind coach yard style entrance, with lovely gardens. Very friendly and approachable staff, and a good solid breakfast buffet. Rooms are basically furnished but comfortable bed and modern stylish bathroom.
