This was my second visit to this hotel. The grounds are simply lovely. There is a beautiful rose garden and delightful waterfowl on the river. The hotel even boasts a pair of black swans.

First of all, Bayeux itself is a beautiful place, bigger than a "town", but not a big city either. Bellefontaine is within walking distance of town, but totally secluded. The chateau's grounds are terrific, complete with a pond and a bevy of swans and ducks....More
