This hotel is ideally placed cose to the town centre and close to all the main tourist attractions in Bayeux. We were greeted by a very friendly, helpful and efficient receptionist ( who spoke perfect English). The room was immaculately clean and the bed very comfortable. One of the best night's sleep in a hotel. Although the hotel is close...

This is a no frills hotel very close to the Bayeux Cathedral and the Bayeux Tapestry. The front desk staff were excellent...very nice, very helpful. In the lobby, they even had a cooler with cokes and beer for only 2 Euro (cheaper than bars and great for an arrival). The room itself was not fancy, but was clean. I loved...

Location great staff v friendly and helpful. Don't bother with the breakfast, it was untypical of a petit dejeuner and expensive for what was on offer. Room was basic and looked out over parking and the side wall. Shower was ok but you couldn't stand up under it. Take your own toiletries as the shower and hand gel are like...

really fantastic hostel, i visited as part of a large group, the staff weren't daunted by our presence and all the questions we fired at them about the local area. they were happy to help our group settle in and use the communal spaces for ourselves. they pointed out where the cathedral was and how to get around Bayeux. most...

The staff at Hotel Le Bayeux destroy every stereotype ever shared about French service personnel. They were helpful, knowledgable and always ready to assist. They could not have been more helpful and more flexible. The location is superb -- 6 minutes from the Tapestry, around the corner from the cathedral, and close to the best restaurants in the town. The...

Over the years I have stayed in six different hotels in Bayeux. I had stayed three years ago with my son in this hotel. My visit this time was excellent, from the friendly reception on arrival, to the time I left. The room at the end of the corridor was quiet and spotless. It was cleaned to a very high...

We booked 4 nights at the Hotel Le Bayeux after reading Trip Advisor reviews. The location was very convenient and it was great to have off-street parking. Other than that, everything else was just OK. The room was large and fairly clean, but nothing special. We found the rooms to be extremely noisy. When guests returned to neighboring rooms at...

We stayed at Le Bayeux for three nights in October 2014. The location was just perfect! A few streets away from EVERYTHING, the church, restaurants, the museums. We didn't have to drive anywhere in town. The room was not extremely large, but fit our needs. Very clean and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful, with great pastries, eggs, bacon and lots...

Our family (of 5) decided to extend our vacation while visiting Paris and drive to Bayeux to pay tribute to the 20th Anniversary of D-Day. We booked this hotel after reviewing a couple of hotels on "Tripadvisor" before we left the US and still haven't been proven wrong with reviews. Yes, this hotel doesn't have all the "Flash and WOW...

We came to Normandy to see the DDay beaches and memorials. Based on previous TripAdvisor reviews we tried Hotel Le Bayeux and we are thrilled with our selection. Mireille, the owner operator, is superb in helping with anything we ask. The room is quiet and comfortable, the breakfasts are scrumptious, and all the employees friendly. Add to that a very...
