This is quite a small hotel and the approach to it is a little unusual but right from the first greeting we knew we would be OK. Guillaume, the proprietor was charming and funny. He showed us to our ground floor room which was very clean and we had a small private patio overlooking the garden. We opted not to... More

This is such a gorgeous little place just on outskirts of Honfleur, it feels like it's in the countryside. Set in peaceful garden surrounds just the place to relax on the terrace before enjoying a gourmet dinner in their restaurant. Great regional food. The hosts here are very welcoming and can't do enough for you.

What a charming and quaint hotel. The town is within walking distance and makes for a lovely evening stroll. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. The owners are so friendly and accomodating - taking the time to translate each item on the handwritten menu. Mr. Caubriere helped us carry our luggage to the car when we checked out. The... More

This is charming and peaceful hotel in beautiful surroundings. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The patio and garden area outside our room was lovely. The food was simple but delicious. Not the most comfortable bed but it was fine for one night and overall we enjoyed out stay.

We returned from a 4 night stay at La Fraichette in August. It was our 2nd visit, this time with our 2 boys (1 & 4). We retuned following a fabulous stay there 3 years before and happy to say it was still just as wonderful. Our room downstairs had a private terrace which is lovely to sit outside and... More

If you are looking for a place to spend a relaxing weekend, this is not a place for you. It is neither calm nor comfortable. On the ground floor there is a restaurant, which is the biggest problem. During food service, the entire building and rooms smell of food. The walls are not soundproof, and since our room was on... More

My young son and I have just returned from a wonderful week staying in La Fraichette in Honfleur. I could not have been more impressed with the hotel. We stayed in one of the larger "garden side" rooms with our own private terrace where you can enjoy a glass of cidre in the setting sun. The lovely couple who run... More

"La Fraîchette" is a charming little hotel in a countryside setting close to Honfleur. It is very tastefully decorated in a modern fashion with quiet colors. The restaurant is very good in an unpretentious way. It offers a limited menu, but the quality is excellent. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

The building is very nice. With a really beautiful garden. Rooms were clean but they are really cold also during the afternoon. The bathroom of one of our rooms hadn’t the door but only a curtain. During the night we felt hot because the quilt was very muggy but as soon as got up from the bed the room was... More
