Very nice experience sleeping in a comfortable cabin in a private forest. Our daughter loved it, but so did we. Plenty of things to visit in the area, so we stayed 3 nights, just perfect. Back in touch with nature!

Our 8 year old son is mad about treehouses and Les Cabanes is the real thing - and it seems to be the only real treehouse hotel within reasonable reach of England (it is one hour from Dieppe). As a family of 4 with 2 kids we could not stay in the really high up treehouses accessible only by zipline/harness...

At 'Les Cabanes de Fontaine', you find different tree houses. I stayed there with my family for 1 night, and it was absolutely tremendous. Arriving at the front desk, we got the key of the cabane, a map, some lights, some matches, and off we went, searching for the tree house. The tree house itself was accessible by a staircase,...

Our particular cabin was extremely high off the ground and accessed via a series of ladders and rope bridges. Harnesses are provided, but the ascent and descent would not have worked for someone afraid of heights or climbing! The cabin was basic and cosy with...

We stayed in the "Terriers" treehouse for one night and had a fantastic experience. We accessed our room using a zip line that took us zooming through the trees and we left by a slightly different one. From the top of our ancient oak tree, we had a terrific view of the forest on one side (badger dens far beneath,...
