This was an overnight stay in a one bedroom suite. The suite was small but comfortable, with nice decor but minimal furnishings. The spa bath was enjoyable. There is a small outside deck with a table & chairs. The kitchen area is very small with microwave & 2 x hot plates. The suite didn't have a table & chairs but...

80km south of Auckland. Manor Views used to be a hospital. Despite the renovations, it still looked aged. There was an unpleasant smell in the foyer, but luckily, not in the room. The room itself was a little small for two people and the luggage. Small kitchenette area with fridge, microwave, kettle, plates and cutlery were an unexpected bonus. Bathroom...

The honey Moon suite although roomy was dark and damp . The bed felt damp and was extremely uncomfortable, we both had bad backs in the morning . The condensation was terrible and overall we felt that it was highly over rated and expensive for what it was . 380.00 for 2 nights . The rooms at the back of...

Having driven for hours we decided to book at the last minute. A converted hospital the building has been restored. Lovely big rooms with massive ensuite with a spa bath for two. Nice and relaxing. Warm as the heater had been put on for us the honeymoon suite was welcoming. Note there is no Sky and we could not get...

Had a short 1 night stopover. This place was converted into a motel. The room was clean and mid sized. The bathroom was small. Kitchen was very basic. The views were good and it was very quiet and peaceful.

Our room overlooked Huntly although there was car parking and hedging in front so you needed to tippy toe on the porch to see it from our room. The room was clean, small (you could barely swing a cat) but it was tidy. Very very small bathroom. We are both quite tall people so did find the room a little...

stayed overnight way to Auckland airport. Nice and easy off the highway at Huntly. Large well appointed rooms and really nice outside area to relax. Excellent people looking after the place. Didn't do breakfast as bit rushed - but overall - excellent to stay at.

My Mum was born somewhere in this building back in the 1930s!! That was my main reason for staying here for one night. It was a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed the double spa bath especially, and the bed was comfortable. If we returned, I would try ordering a candlelit dinner (although our Indian meal in town was very tasty).

"5 star" experience in terms of experience, hospitality and uniqueness. We stayed here as a last minute booking after our accommodation in Hamilton fell through unexpectedly with most other options in Hamilton all booked out. We are so glad we chose to do something different and come out to Huntly. We were welcomed warmly with just 20 minutes notice of...
