We stayed just for one evening and enjoyed ourselves. Bernard had been helpful to us via email before we arrived answering a number of questions. This is a grand old home and is very comfortable and inviting. The location worked well for our short trip and we were able to access the historic area of Le Mans very easily. Bernard...

We stopped in Le Mans on the way north, after a holiday in the Dordogne. We were delighted to arrive at Le Clos d'Hauteville as they had been so nice & efficient when I booked the room. The house is beautiful, very conveniently located for a short walk into the city centre and really secure parking nearby. We stayed in...

Once again Bernard and Christine were perfect hosts for our annual pilgrimage to the Le Mans 24 Hour race. Welcoming as always they provide the perfect location for a visit to Le Mans. The house is spotless, rooms comfortable and the breakfasts superb. We have stayed with them now every year for nearly 20 years, having seen their own children...

We visited in June whilst attending a wedding in the area. An elegant B&B in a 19th century house with comfortable beds, wonderful shower and an enchanted garden - an oasis in Le Mans. Bernard and his wife Christine are warm and friendly hosts - serving a tasty breakfast - including delicious home made pastries - on an exquisitely laid...

A wonderful Bed and Breakfast just 10 minutes walk from the heart of the Plantagenet City. We were welcomed by our hosts like family friends even though this was our first visit to Le Mans. We were soon proposed some recommendations for restaurants, which later proved to be excellent choices. Also some local places to visit, which equally turned out...

Bernard responded to emails when booking being made very quickly. Lovely spot within walking distance of Old Town and tram to take us to Bugatti Circuit. Lovely garden to rest in and to safely store motorbikes. Bedrooms all of excellent size and well appointed. A kettle would be nice to make a cup of tea but that is the only...

Our number 1 place to stay so far in our 3 week trip. Lovely old home in a good location and the most charming hosts. We were able to park in their enclosed courtyard which made life easy. And they let my husband borrow a wind breaker for the day. The inn is about a 5 min walk to the...

My husband, baby daughter and I had a fantastic time staying in this lovely B&B for one night. Overall we found Christine and Bernard very friendly, accommodating and helpful - from putting a travel cot in our room to making a reservation at an affordable but amazing restaurant in the heart of the old town. Location - about five minutes...
