I stayed here for just one night during a recent East Coast road trip - I only wish I had stayed for a couple of days. The place is pure relaxation - everything you could need is catered for. The house consists of a queen bed and around 6 double beds, TV/lounge room, large kitchen and veranda. There is foxtel...

Wonderfully warm welcome and a cute country cottage with lovely gardens, horses, cows and plenty of breakfast options. There are enough beds for 10 but a booking here secures the whole house. As there were only two of us it was luxury. The location is in a beautiful area west of Gympie and well worth a look around

Another lovely stay at staple house. A genuinely Australian bed and breakfast... The house is always well stocked with plentiful food and has plenty of things to look at or play with. Reverse aircon makes for a very comfortable stay and the beds are lovely. Having the chance to wander the farm and stare at the horses cows and chickens...

Beautiful old cottage Was looking for a cheap place to stay for the night while travelling up the coast. My only regret is that I arrived late and have to leave early. Tony was great and very helpful Definately going to come back if passing this way again. Would love to stay a couple of nights to enjoy the countryside...

Arrived at time when cyclone Marcia was being upgraded from category 2 to category 4. Our host, Tony was brilliant. If you want posh and modern, then don't book here. What you get is comfort and relaxation whilst stepping back in time in a very rural setting. The kitchen is so well equipped, it is a joy. Tony seems to...

Stayed at Staple House with my husband and two children for 6 weeks last September/October. It was fantastic, so homey and comfortable. Extremely good value for money and Tom is an awesome host, couldn't meet a nicer person. Out in the middle of nowhere with beautiful countryside, so peaceful. If you are looking for action and to be close to...

I did not know what to expect, but was so pleasantly surprised! I've been in Australia for about three years now, and that was truly a highlight for me in terms of “Value for money”. The house, the hospitality, everything was just down to earth, good old country style living. It may not be for everyone, but I loved it!

Very relaxing, charming, affordable, well catered for etc etc etc. Only stayed one night as it was a convenient stopover to break the trip from Bundaberg to Toowoomba but would love to chill out here for ages.

This place is wonderful. I can't praise it enough. The house is full of wonderful nic-nacks, the grounds are lovely and there has been so much thought put in to making it a terrific B&B. The price is incredible and Tom was such a caring host. We will definitely be going back. I will tell all my friends about this...
