My wife and I stayed here on 10th September for one night. We booked the hotel online and gave our card details and the terms state that no money is taken upfront. However our bank informed us that the room price was taken as authorisation. When we arrived we asked the manager who said nothing was taken. We duly payed...

Dear Mr. L., On September 7th, the day you booked your room, we did a pre-authorization on your credit card for the amount of your reservation (as referred to our sale conditions). This amount has not been charged on your credit card, it was locked on it until we released it (which was done on September 11th, the day you...

We booked into this wonderful hotel with a view to stay one or two nights. My husband had a cardiac episode and had to go to hospital for 9 days. The staff were SO fabulous to me. Treating me like family the whole time. I just cant thank them enough. The room was always clean and tidy for me getting...

A typical small French hotel in a good location representing reasonable value for money. The staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast good. Unfortunately our room's shower was blocked and remained so during our one night stay, despite the attempts by staff to rectify it. Otherwise, everything was satisfactory.

This is a moderately priced small hotel in Downtown Angers. It is near to the cathedral, restaurants and the car park is just 50 metres away. Our room was very small, no air-con and too noisy outside to have the windows open. Our booking was for an overnight stay en route to the south of France which made it ok...

The hotel looked quite bland in the pictures, but was actually a very good deal. Room did not have aircon but a fan helped. Service was excellent, the young man at the reception helped us a great deal. Breakfast was enough for us bikers to survive on and they had safe bike storage. The chateau and cathedral (beautiful rose windows!)...

We stayed here as part of a bike trip. It was comfortable and conveniently located. The concierge gave us a great suggestion for dinner when all our choices were fully booked. There was no AC/so we opened the window at night for air. Unfortunately it was Saturday night and the street revelers were very loud (a problem we had in...

We were on a bikepacking trip around the Loire valley and finished our trip with a night in this hotel. It came recommended on FreewheelingFrance.com as a bike friendly hotel and it was excellent. Boris the receptionist greeted us and secured our bikes in a locked courtyard - he couldn't have been more helpful sorting out wifi, town maps etc...

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, upon arrival I was upgraded a room for free, and given directions and a map to sights to see nearby. Great location, it was easy to walk to and from anywhere in the city.

Each and every staff member I interacted with was courteous, helpful, and friendly. The rooms (we stayed in two, actually ended up downgrading because it fit our needs better) were tidy and comfortable, with the standard hotel amenities. I liked the windows that opened to the street below. Our stay was about one week, and the team took care of...

This hotel is the perfect place to crush when you arrive in Angers. Within walking distance of the city center, it is easy to get to. The room was fine, we even got an upgrade for free as the hotel was not full (very nice of the owner she was not obliged to). Breakfast was also very fine, fresh croissant...
