10 minute walk from shuttle bus drop off (€8 immediately outside airport Hall 1 - pay driver. Journey approx 20- 30 mins) at Place Du Commerce, in the centre. Helpful, friendly reception/staff. Room is adequate and clean . Breakfast was available , which was good. NB- No tea facilities or strong box in room. NB-There is a small supermarket opposite... More

We arrived on bicycle in Nantes and booked a room in this hotel because it appeared in the cycling guide. We did not regret this because the hotel offered us secure storage for our bicycles and was very accommodating in regard to our needs. We enjoyed the breakfast as well - everything organic and fairly produced. The road is only... More

we chose this place for 2 reasons, the location, which was good, and the fact that it was styled as a Logis Not my idea of a Logis which is normally a cosy family run place. Rather more like a hostel than a hotel. Room very small, very noisy and no air conditioning. Bad wifi service. On the positive side... More

We had ordered a room for two persons and two dogs. The room we got was so small that it was almost impossible to sleep there for us. If you go there, do not accept room number 23 if you are not alone. The breakfast was OK and the parking arrangement was good as the hotel is situated in the... More

On arrival, there was a slight mix up with rooms - we were down for a room for just one person. We were happy to have this room for the first night as the bed is not a single bed, there is room for two and the room was very nice. We were given 50% of the price back that... More

In my view, the big plus of this hotel is the location: in the city center, central pedestrian area in a two-minute walk, Talensac market around the corner, public rent-a-bike station just in front of the hotel. The room was nice, clean and fairly big. I pretty much appreciated the quality of the bed. The Wifi was free and working... More

We absolutely fell in love with Nantes. Its historic buildings and quarters merge beautifully with modern infrastructure and traffic-free centre with highly impressive public transport provision. A real jewel. The Duquesne is a charming two-star hotel which is well located for the city centre, the sites and restaurants of all qualities. The welcome is very warm and attentive; the breakfast... We used this as a halfway staging point to our destination further south in France. Excellent welcome with friendly staff. Very central. Very good continental breakfast. As it's a city centre location, in the middle of a pedestrianised and tram area, accessing the hotel is not so easy, but the staff direct you to a nearby car park where the... More

OK, the room was tiny, but quiet and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly and that was all I needed for a short stay. If you are looking for a good 2 star hotel, you are making a good choice. I'd definitely would return.
