#16 of 74 hotels in Aix-en-Provence
Travellers' Choice
Le Concorde is a charming 3-star hotel in the center of Aix en Provence, city of art and water, located near the Cours Mirabeau, the Hôtel de Caumont, the Granet Museum, the Jeu de Paume Theater and the Palais des Congrès . All this makes the Concorde one of the most central hotels in the city. We offer rooms that are mostly quiet, at very affordable prices, some have a private balcony, some have a patio and terraces. All rooms have been renovated with a refined and relaxing decoration to welcome you in the best way. Our hotel has a private underground parking, once you have parked the car you will forget it for the duration of your stay. This is because Aix is a pretty Provençal city where you move on foot and where there are a lot of things to do: an art exhibition, a concert or just a tour among its colorful markets. Walking through the city of Cézanne you will be attracted by its magic while you lose yourself in its streets full of history or sip a drink in its sunny squares.

NOTHING LIKE ON THE PHOTOS! I booked a room based on the photos. When I arrived, the room they gave me was completely different in a completely different building. It was extremely noisy as it was located on a main boulevard. They dismissed all of my concerns, refused to refund me even though I did not stay in the room, and kept saying that there is nothing they can do as the room I had booked is no longer available. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Hi guys I have been in this hotel for one night during my last summer trip. Starting from the position this hotel is really strategic because it is a few minutes walk from the city center and it is easy to reach if you are traveling by car or by train (I was traveling by car). To reach the city center you have to cross the road and walking on Rue de Italie and in 5 mins you will reach Cours Mirabeau. The room was very good, enough wide and very clean. The people at the reception were very kind to give us all the information. We did not have breakfast inside because we would like to have it outside (there are a lot of bar where you can have petit dejouner) but at the hotel the cost is 10€ per person. Another good stuff is that the hotel have a private park for 10€ a day. It is very comfortable because you can leave the car and do not think about find parking and so on. I would recommend this hotel guys for your stop at Aix..enjoy!

Pleasant staff, pleasant room, pleasant lounge, pleasant surroundings and pleasant location; all in all 10 out of ten. The town centre is astounding and just a stones-throw from the hotel - delis, bars, history; first class

This a is a European motel to start and first thought is meh i can get over it i plan to because we are out most of the time. To start we forgot the code to get in past midnight, we called and we explained the issue and the guy gave us the code no problem, ten minutes later we call again because the heater won’t turn on, surprisingly the same voice is now telling us he doesn’t speak English. He says go reception, so we go, of course no one is around we call again and he says no English. I call on my other phone from a different number and speak English then Spanish because the languages spoken apparently by this hotel are French, English and Spanish but no doesn’t no any Spanish either. We assume our heat is off because we were using it last night and while we were in the room but turned it off before we left. Regardless it’s low season here and they are clearly trying to save every euro possible. I would not recommend a place this cheap and this fake. The languages spoken are clearly when it serves them best.

Dear Mrs Kapner, Thank you for taking your time to write this comment. We are sorry that you had a heater issue. This problem came from a circuit breaker that went off during the night. We had been awared of this issue the next morning from other guests, and managed it right after. We could have informed you about it at the check out, unfortunately, you didn't mentionned it at all. Please, understand that this has nothing to deal with saving 2cts for a heater. In adds, in order to clarify a little, our front desk staff perfectly speaks French and English, 3 on 5 speak Spanish (including 1 native), 2 on 5 speak Italian (including 1 native) and 1 on 5 speaks Portuguese. As you know, the reception closes at midnight. From this time, this is our technician that is on call on site in case of emergency. Unfortunately, he is the only one who ineed doesn't speak any foreign language.

Hotel Le Concorde is an excellent choice in Aix. The staff at the reception desk is OUTSTANDING! They are extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgeable on a myriad of topics related to staying in Aix, and multilingual. The bed in room that I stayed in was more comfortable than most hotel beds and the walk-in shower was spacious. The location is very good for walking to most everything in town. Room rates are a good value considering what is provided for a reasonable amount of money.
