Le Concorde is a charming 3-star hotel in the center of Aix en Provence, city of art and water, located near the Cours Mirabeau, the Hôtel de Caumont, the Granet Museum, the Jeu de Paume Theater and the Palais des Congrès . All this makes the Concorde one of the most central hotels in the city. We offer rooms that are mostly quiet, at very affordable prices, some have a private balcony, some have a patio and terraces. All rooms have been renovated with a refined and relaxing decoration to welcome you in the best way. Our hotel has a private underground parking, once you have parked the car you will forget it for the duration of your stay. This is because Aix is a pretty Provençal city where you move on foot and where there are a lot of things to do: an art exhibition, a concert or just a tour among its colorful markets. Walking through the city of Cézanne you will be attracted by its magic while you lose yourself in its streets full of history or sip a drink in its sunny squares.

Detailed Reviews
Hi guys I have been in this hotel for one night during my last summer trip. Starting from the position this hotel is really strategic because it is a few minutes walk from the city center and it is easy to reach if you are traveling by car or by train (I was traveling by car). To reach the city center you have to cross the road and walking on Rue de Italie and in 5 mins you will reach Cours Mirabeau. The room was very good, enough wide and very clean. The people at the reception were very kind to give us all the information. We did not have breakfast inside because we would like to have it outside (there are a lot of bar where you can have petit dejouner) but at the hotel the cost is 10€ per person. Another good stuff is that the hotel have a private park for 10€ a day. It is very comfortable because you can leave the car and do not think about find parking and so on. I would recommend this hotel guys for your stop at Aix..enjoy!

We stopped here travelling South and found it to be a very pleasant hotel. The room was large and in a quiet part of the building which is a little deceptive as it s a separate building across the courtyard but fine. We chose this as it is one of the very few hotels in the city with parking. However it is a very narrow space down s steep ramp so be aware if you are not used to driving on the right. Good breakfast. Excellent location. Could not be better. If there was one negative, it was the fact thst there was no hot water one evening due to repair works which the hotel did not inform us of. It was very frustrating to be unable to take a shower before dinner as this was not an emergency and it would have been polite to at least inform the guests.
However. Definitely worth considering and Aix en Provence is a must to visit.

On arrival at the hotel , which was easy to find and the parking for the hotel also via GPS. The parking is under the hotel , those familiar with France this is not always the case.
The gentleman who checked me in at around 21:00, was very helpful but pointed out that I had booked a junior category room in the attic. I knew it was in the attic but did not pick up the toilet was not in the room but across the hall. It was for my solo use, but who would check on the details of the bathroom in 2022. I will now though :-)
So the lift goes to the third floor and then you have to climb a flight of stairs. quite easy actually but maybe not for those not as nimble on their feet.
I opened my room door and the image on the internet was exactly like my bedroom , also the AC was on and the room was cool - amazing .
I travel 2/4 weeks per month and I have had issues everywhere with regards to AC ,big brands Hilton and Accord, This was fabulous.
The room had a double bed and a mini fridge.
Across the hall was my bathroom. Fully functional with a shower.
I have to say this was a pain but otherwise I had no complaints.
The staff on reception were very helpful, providing suggestions for dinner - La Tomat du verde was amazing.
The breakfast was of a continental style, bread rolls, ham fruit/ orange juice and coffee. Lovely. Did I mention the freshly baked croissants that you get to smell wafting up the stairs each morning !!!
The location of the hotel could not be any better. Across the street is the start of the Ville. 5 minutes to Couers Mirabeau walking.
When I was checking out I gave some feedback on the description of my room and how it just sounds like a bad translation. When I went to check out the lady was already on to their IT person to correct the web page !!

Needed an overnight stay near the train station to meet a bike group. Very sterile rooms and surprisingly noisy. We were near some employee entrance- avoid Room #4. Shower pressure OK, bed sort of comfortable. No decor. I went to grab some snacks at the grocery store next door and needed a knife as we were in the restaurant closure hours of the afternoon when we arrived. The desk clerk was pretty surly and begrudgingly gave me a butter knife from the breakfast area and made me give him my room number to track the knife. I made sure to return it and remove it from my account :) Don't count on finding a taxi near the hotel but you can walk with luggage to the train station. The restaurant area nearby a little sketchy after dark. Breakfast was the usual buffet- nothing special. So pretty average and expensive for what you get.

It was our second time at this hotel. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center.of Aix. Rooms are simple. There is a convenient underground parking which is not (though too many cars can make it difficult to move in and out).
Unfortunately on the last night of our stay it rained hard and it started raining at 6.30 am from 3 different spots on the ceiling of our room, two of them above our bed. We packed quickly and ran out of the room for check out.
Quite arrogant behavior of the receptionist: I would have expected excuses and spontaneous offering of a free night. None of those happened. She was quite annoyed and, upon request , offered just a small discount on parking. We will, regrettably, go to other hotels next time in the wonderful Aix.

Back on April 2024, we spent five nights at this small hotel. Its location could not be better, within easy walk from the train station, and of the main attractions in Aix. An added bonus is the proximity to good restaurants.
As it is often the case in Europe, our room (second floor) was small and somewhat cramped, but it had all the expected conveniences. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the balcony due to the strong wind we had most days. The only objection we had was the exceedingly small shower cubicle, so tiny, there was not enough space to easily enter or bend.
The staff was very polite and helpful, particularly Marion. They were always ready to answer all our questions and doubts. The breakfast buffet was limited, but adequate. We enjoyed the coffee maker with several cups of "lattes".
I must say that we are grateful the staff was understanding and professional enough to adjust our total bill to the fact that we could not have breakfast on our departure day. This was a really nice detail.
Our "Bottom Line" is that we would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aix.

Hotel situated on a main road just a short walk in to the city Centre. Chose this because it has a car park which was charged at 12 Euros a night, but be warned it's very tight parking in it. Room was decent and a short walk across the road in to the Centre of town and a Convenience store just round the corner so just right for our little 2 night stopover.

This hotel is simple. It is located on a main road just steps away from the old town. The hotel itself has rooms inside the building and there is also an adjacent, motel-like building in the back. It seemed clean and the decor was decent, but I feel like the pictures made it look more luxurious than it was. If I had known that it was simple and motel-like, I probably would have looked elsewhere, but I was only there for one night. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. In the courtyard, there were nice seating areas where you could sit, relax and maybe drink some wine. I did not use it though. I did not have a car or have breakfast either, so I can not speak to that. The guy at the reception desk was very nice. The location is pretty good. It is close to the old town and the Cours Mirabeau. If you are in Aix for one or two nights, this hotel would be a good choice.

This is an independent well run hotel. Lots of charm, with a little courtyard, and right on the edge of the old centre. It's a 5 minute walk to Place Mirabeau, but easy to get to on the main roads. Delighted with the underground parking on site. We had the family suite for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and it was perfect, separate rooms and it even has an outdoor terrace with chaise longues. Highly recommended.

We recently spent a couple of nights at this hotel and enjoyed our stay.
Our bedroom was quite spacious and clean. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had a small balcony.
The bathroom had a good shower with plenty of hot water although the room was quite small and there was not a lot of space to move around.
Breakfast was included in the price and in my opinion was adequate.
Staff were very pleasant and helpful
