Seriously this the worst hotel we have EVER stayed at. Probably ok for one night at a pinch passing through. Unfortunately we booked for 4 and so we're committed. It seemed we were the only ones there for 3 nights. Reception closed at 9 pm so building eerily quiet for the night apart from the very noisy road out the...

Very run-down. Lifts not working, decor very careworn, but the rooms seemed clean. Like others it was Hobsons choice. Can't remember the room number but there was wi-fi. It is a few minutes drive to the old town but that is about the only plus I'm affraid.

While travelling and improvising in Camargue, my boyfriend and I couldn't find a room in Arles, so we resigned and stayed here for a night. Bad experience, wouldn't recommend to anybody. The whole building, both inside and outside, looks like it hasn't been restored/touched since the 1970's and honestly, the wall "paper" is pretty unsettling. The owner/receptionist clearly told us...

I admit it. It was my fault. I should have found time to book a hotel in Arles in advance, before all the crowds poured in for the photo festival and took away all the other hotels. But we did pay a dear price for this mistake - an absolutely dreadful stay. What an awful experience. Now I understand why...

I went with my group for about four nights. At first, I wouldn't recommend having the food there. It wasn't cooked properly, tasted weird, was strange combinations and definitely was not suitable for vegetarians. For lunches they gave us stale cold bread and soggy cheese. Some of the rooms were nice but the rest were really disgusting. Our group had...

The hotel is ok, the room was clean, and so the bathroom. I little noisy because the window faces the street, but once the window is closed is ok. 10 minutes walking distance from Arles city centre, no problem at all for us (2 girls) coming back at night. The rate in early june was 53 Euros for a double...

The location of this hotel is OK -- it's just a couple of minutes from the ancient center of Arles -- but if you're looking for a nice place to stay, find somewhere on the other side of town that will cost about the same. My room had a strange smell, as if it had been flooded. The whole place...

No staff on duty at night. There was a sign (impossible to read in the dark) with a phone number to call. If we hadn't had a flashlight we would have been in trouble. We had to go buy a phone card. We had to find someone who spoke French to talk to the manager on the phone. The code...

A perfect stop over for one night. A two star hotel offering quality cuisine and a really friendly welcome. Clean and really inexpensive, prices starting at 30 euro per night. I recommend hotel Montmajour. Bikers are particularly welcome and they look after our motor bikes.
