Anne-Lise was the perfect hostess! Her house is tucked away down a beautiful side street in the heart of the Old Town. The two rooms we saw were both beautiful. Though we booked for 'Bourgeoisie', when we arrived we were told that Booking.com had made a mistake and we'd have to stay in another, smaller room. It didn't matter. The...

This B&B was a beautiful surprise. Hidden in a narrow street of Avignon, just behind the Popes' Building, it is a 19th century building maneged by a very nice family. The rooms are beautiful with original decoration on the walls. Two highlights: 1. the position is perfect to visit the historical center of avignon; 2. The breakfast is awesome, really,...

This 18th century town house is ideally located for visiting the sites, but tucked away on a quiet street. Anne-Lise gave us a warm welcome into her family's home. We had the Bourgeoise room, with a romantic canopy bed. Our room was located on the first floor, overlooking the street. It was very large, comfortably appointed, clean and quiet. The...

We stayed two nights at this bed and breakfast. Our room was on the second floor and it was charming, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely...homemade yogurt, breads, brioche and jams. Ann-Lise recommended a variety of restaurants for dinner. We tried La Fourchette and Cuisine Chic. The food and wine and service were great and memorable. This B&B is...

I didn't really enjoy Avignon as a city to visit but for an authentic place to stay this was brilliant. Especially if you enjoy interacting with your host and being immersed in the culture. This was the first time I had stayed at a B&B rather than a hotel. I chose to do so because I thought it would be...

Stayed here for two nights. Fantastic location, close to main sights, restaurants and the market. We had one of the ground floor suites. It was extremely spacious with a king sized bed, dining table and ensuite. Anne-Lise and Vincent were very hospitable and welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and some very nice restaurants were recommended. The breakfast which...

Loverly hosts, the room was beautiful and the location a moments walk from the historic centre of Avignon. Homemade bread and pain au chocolate from the oven in the morning and homemade brioche. We loved the room and the character of the historic building. It's well worth a stay and we are hoping to return next year for the anniversary...

We only stayed for a single night, but the location was perfect, right in the historic center of Avignon and walkable to everything. The host and breakfast were great. Recommend the parking garage immediately East of the property if driving.

It was really fun to spend a few nights in such a beautiful old building. The location was quiet and comfortable, yet very close to the main attractions as well. The hosts were warm and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. Everything was very clean, too. At breakfast, we shared the kitchen table with a young couple from Switzerland who spoke...

My parents and I stayed in the two ground-floor rooms in this beautiful historic mansion house in central Avignon. The owners were unfailingly kind and helpful, the breakfast homemade breads, cakes and jams with excellent coffee, tea and hot chocolate, the rooms beautifully decorated and outfitted and spotlessly clean. An enormous pleasure to stay at.
