I channeled my inner Rapunzel (minus the hair and the prince drives a CaliforniaT not a horse) in this hotel. We stayed in room 11. It has access to one of the towers. We had coffee up there the next day before heading down to an excellent breakfast. The view is to die for. Hotel elegant. Staff are friendly. The...

We stayed in the mistral room which included a lovely patio area. The hotel is a castle built in the late 1800s and has a lot of charm. There is also a vineyard, winery and wine tasting room on the property and a very fine restaurant. Our room was nicely appointed with upgraded amenities including robes, slippers and coffee maker....

A group of friends and I were touring the Rhone valley and tasting wines from the different regions. We arrived from Tain l'Hermitage as the second part of our trip. We had selected the hotel because it looked nice on the website and the reviews were mostly good. As we turned into the long driveway from the D17 and caught...

This Chateau has beautiful grounds and the restaurant is fabulous. We met the chef personally and he is an artist. The staff were welcoming and always gracious and looking for ways to assist. Worth the time and money to visit.

My husband and I visited the lovely town and wineries at Chateauneuf du Pape and made a last minute decision to find a place to stay for the night. I checked online and noticed Hostellerie Chateau des Fines Roches was available. What an incredible find! The castle is beautiful and incredibly charming, on a hillside covered with a vineyard. We...

The setting is very promising - a chateau like building, on a grape covered hill just outside Chateauneuf du Pape. However, it is not quite it. It is a setting with a great potential, which does not deliver. Rooms are not as elegant as you would expect and are quite basic. The restaurant is fine but nothing special.

My review is strictly for the restaurant, I did not stay at the hotel though I can say that it is stunning visually and in a marvelous landscape. The restaurant is weak, probably the worst I ate at during a seven day stay in the Provence region. We were a party of eight people and not one of us enjoyed...

We spent two days here. We had a super room (Grand Charme) at the front of the property overlooking the vineyard. The restaurant is certainly fine dining with great food and service. In every respect a great place to use as a base for exporing the area and enjoying some great wine tasting.

We stayed here for 2 nights in the tower (room 11). With this we had private access to the tower terrace which was magnificent! The view was amazing and well worth the stay!! The staff were quite friendly. Also helpful when we had dropped a piece of our camera on a lower rooftop and they searched for the access key...

The hotel is is located just outside the village with lovely views over the vineyards. We stayed for 2 nights. We had mixed feelings about the hotel. On the plus side we had a lovely room on the ground floor with a private terrace. The bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom ticked most of the boxes with a...
