Cap D'Antibes Beach Hotel is a great contrast to the stuffy formality of the other 5 star hotels in the Riveria that, for me, are more pomp than circumstance. This hotel is the real deal, especially for those that are on the Riveria to enjoy the sea, the beach, and easy access to Antibes, Nice, St. Paul de Vence.

We spent a day in total retreat mode, never leaving the property. And you feel like there is nowhere else in the world. Massages in the outdoor 'cabin' are consistently good. And the beach is a rarity in the area- soft sand, protected swimming, privacy between the beach chairs, and an amazing beach service team led by Ludovic. They don't pander to you (so if you need to be fussed over to feel important - go to Eden Roc) - rather they give great service when you request and always check in to see if you need anything.

For lovers of modernist design, the architecture and interior design choices are stunning. An array of textures, colors inspired by Palm Springs and the Medditerranean. The details, from the round wood door stops to the hones pink marble and stone floors that bring outside in are impeccable.

Some reviews have complained about the exterior black out shade noise. First, having that was a dream. Or I should say, facilitated my dreams. It brought complete darkness for a deep sleep. Second, the noise from adjacent rooms raising and lowering was only noticable if I was already awake and sitting in total silence. And those who criticized for lack of coffee and tea in the room, clearly are not observant or used to discreet and impeccable design. A glorious full height mirrored cabinet is located in the room, with a full bar, Nespresso coffee service, Tea, snacks, and refrigerator.
The touch of an included breakfast delivered to the room and bottled water and a treat delivered at night was appreciated.

I recommend this hotel to those who want true discreet luxury that is comfortable as a beach hotel should be. The staff radiates the same feel.

The beach hotel was like no other, from the service to positioning of the hotel - it was perfect. The room servicing team ensured absolute cleanliness and the restaurant staff/beach club staff were more than attentive. Céline was so helpful, kind and accommodating. Can’t wait to visit again, thank you!

We've been fortunate enough to experience many luxury hotels, but this was really special. The location is beautiful - away from the noise and crowds and truly able to enjoy the natural beauty of this part of the world. You can relax in your own sun loungers on the private sandy beach (unusual for Cote d'Azur with its rocky beaches). The "sensory pool" is fantastic. The rooms are impeccable, and we were lucky enough to get one with a gorgeous water view. Service was highly attentive but never pretentious. Certainly you pay handsomely for all this, but we really felt like we got great value and would highly recommend it.

This hotel does not have the charm/warmth that one would expect from this brand, it is not a chateau nor a relais.

Upon check-in they told us that they were not able to put robes in the rooms due to COVID as per Relais Chateau, however, we had stayed in a Relais Chateau the previous night, where they provided robes… Also, we do not understand how providing robes is less hygienic than providing sheets and towels? Do they not wash the robes each time? Robes should come with each 5 star room and be washed between visits.
While at the pool/beach, the staff did not check on us, or offer us menus, in fact, they didn't even notice that there was a dog in the pool - talk about unhygienic!

The rooms are fine, however, the beds are two singles pushed together resulting in a giant gap in the middle so quite uncomfortable. The shower area is nice looking, however, the WC smelled like sewage and the shower flooded each time! The rooms are not sound proofed at all, however they do have good blackout curtains.

Overall, not a 5 star experience… no special service and they were unable to check us in 30 minutes early, despite the fact that the hotel was empty...
The private beach is nice, and the view of the garden is lovely.

Dear Smooth8 I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for choosing our property for your stay in le Cap d'Antibes. I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. It gives me th opportunity to explain to the tripadvisor community our position based on the recommendations of the worldwide known company : bureau Veritas (since 1828) on the approach of the COVID in term of hygiene. When a guest leaves the room : all the laundry must go to cleaning which is obvious. Due to the pandemy and the permanent daily washing, you can imagine the impact on our planet in term of water & laundry detergent. It is our little contribution not to put the bath robe to protect our planet. But of course we bring them upon request. As we are an independant association of hotelier, each Relais & Chateaux manages on its ownway Regarding the little dog at the pool: I am sure you notice it did not go to the beach where it would have been unhygienic I am so sorry to read that you were disappointed by the room. I can perfectly understand your comments and be assured that I have taken them very seriously. Should you be willing to give us a second chance to welcome you back to le Cap d'Antibes Beach Hotel, and to make you experience a memorable moment with us, I would truly appreciate to look personally after it. Best regards, Franck FARNETI

I stayed early July during 2 nights 3 days on this property. The facilities are great although the service is really mediocre as they practice racial profiling inside this establishment and they treat their guests according to their ethnic origin.

The very first day when I arrived, and I was waiting to get my room ready I went to the beach restaurant and I was told I could not get a table even though the place was empty.

After I complaint to someone who seemed to be part of the management team, and they let their team know I was a hotel guest I was offered a table.

In general, the personnel at the beach and in the restaurant during breakfast, were not caring and the did the minimum after I had to ask every time to get basic things like bringing me some bread which it turn out to be they did for other “white clients”.

Lastly, due to current COVID situation, I refused to use the valet parking service and I was told I could not have a parking place unless I left my car with the valet. Which it was ridiculous as they were mostly empty.

Such a pity for good facilities with a really poor service. Since this is quite an expensive hotel. Definitely not worth the price.

You can have better service in some other properties nearby with great facilities as well.

We had extremely high expectations of this hotel given its location, price point and membership of Relais and Chateaux. We expected the amazing location to be accompanied by great service and food.

Our arrival made us feel that we could relax as our luggage was taken from the car by the valet and it was whizzed away as we checked in and had a tour of the hotel.

We quickly got changed and went down happily to the beach bar, and that’s where things started to go down hill. The staff are inattentive and have an arrogance that does not match their performance. If you dare feel ignored and approach the bar yourself to get a drink you are made to feel very unwelcome.

We had one bland meal in the hotel on the first night which was immemorable save for the sharing starter of sardines. This was a 4€ tin with some bread. We were warned of this by the waiter but thought they would do something special. Silly us!

We tried to stay in the hotel the next day, but got frustrated with being ignored, a complaint was made to the general manager. This fell on deaf ears and there was no improvement seen. We therefore spent the rest of our time in some of the best bars, beach clubs and restaurants Antibes have to offer.

The rooms are OK. But lack simple amenities like tea and coffee facilities and irons etc. The poorly placed TV managed to clip my Husbands head several times when he got up from the desk. The worst thing though are the external metal roller shutters! I can not begin to describe the sound of them rising and falling. And you can hear every one of them when they go off. One morning I was awoken to what I thought was a child badly playing a recorder at the end of my bed, only to realise it was our next door neighbour opening their blind! From about 7am they start playing music in the corridors and the sound proofing of the room is poor. The floor outside the room is also concrete boards - this was a great idea by the architect as they really emphasise the noise of a roller suitcase and if whoever is rolling them walks at the right pace the clacking matches the timing of the music!

There were two saving graces for this hotel. The breakfast staff and the spa manger and her partner. Whilst the actual breakfast is average at best, the staff are attentive and unlike anywhere else in the hotel - friendly. We also had one of the best massages we had ever had in our lives.

I’ve rambled on for ages. Suffice it to say we won’t be back as I’m sure we will manage to find a far better hotel in Antibes for our next visit.

This review addresses the beach club restaurant. The food here was the best we had in the Antibes area. It’s pricey, but well worth a visit in our view. Of particular note were the fish dishes and dessert (three sublime cookie ice cream sandwiches).

Unless you want drink service on the beach, avoid spending money on beach chairs here. The equally nice and larger public beach (with a cafe for drinks and such) sits right next to it.

Chose hotel as saw on Trip Advisor great reviews for vegans. Contacted hotel after booking and requested advice on Restaurant. Received email stating no vegan food was available in hotel restaurant, but recommended 2 local restaurants (both of which were closed). Told hotel that I booked having seen reviews, so they checked and eventually said the chef would make something vegan for us. Very surprised then to find 3 vegan items on room service menu, which just shows they could have said they did in the first place. Ordered vegan soup from room service - absolutely delicious. Dinner in hotel’s beach restaurant - vegan food outstanding. No idea why they didn’t just say vegans were well catered for in the first place! Definitely very accommodating to vegans eating at hotel! Various non-dairy milks available at breakfast!

We stayed in September for a week. The hotels position is great with the private beach. Our room was on the ground floor and it would of been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room and what a mistake not to have them. We didn't eat in the Michelin stared restaurant. However, the food in the main restaurant was uninspiring and great if you liked courgettes as they seem to be on every dish. Cocktails varied in strength and not consistent. Breakfast was fine, but that is an easy goal to achive. The beach guys were very good, but they made sure they needed to be rewarded for their efforts, which I found disconcerting. I would stay again for its position and beach, but not much else I am very sorry to say.

WOW! AMAZING! Highly recommend it. My husband and I went in July. We booked the deluxe room for 5 nights. SO worth it! The staff are super helpful. Service is excellent! The restaurant both Le Pecheur (Michelin star) is delicious and the beach restaurant is also delicious. The pool is very nice and big with nice view on the beach. The hotel itself has a beach which you can go to and use for free. Hotel is 5-10 minutes by foot from the center of Antibes. Claire is amazing at the front desk. You also get valet parking with the hotel which is great!

Amanda, we stayed there four nights and loved it! We mainly drove around but resting at the beach would be terrific. We had a nice room with a terrace and a king bed. Not sure of other sizes but their website might help. It is a relais and Châteaux resort, so the food is wonderful & overlooking the beach and Mediterranean. Dinner is quite good as well and the wines have a good selection and a helpful sommelier! We ate dinner and breakfast there every day. Breakfast is included with an excellent buffet and you can also order things. All items you mentioned would be on the buffet plus more. Now this is not a cheap place, but if that is not an issue, we highly recommend it. Further, if you drive easy to Provence, we highly recommend Coquillade Village, also a relais and Châteaux hotel! Have fun! (We have been to many RC hotels all over and they are our preferred place to stay.)
