This campsite is extremely well run and has recovered substantially from the floods of 2015. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The railway station at Biot is just a few minutes walk from the campsite and from there you can discover all the main towns and attractions along the Côte d’Azur. Top tip: you can purchase a weekly rail season ticket cheaply online covering Cannes to Monaco and beyond.

We have just left after a week at this campsite and I was genuinely sad to leave. The welcome we received from the manager Claire was second to none, always a wave and a smile as we passed. We have a 7m motorhome and our pitch was one of the largest we have stayed on. There were plenty of showers, sinks and toilets which were all clean and in good condition. I am a keen swimmer and the pool was fabulous it was very large with crystal clear water and nice wide steps into the shallow end. It is quite a walk from where the pitches are but this just reflects the huge loss to Claire and her family after the tragic floods of 2015 when they weren’t allowed to reinstate affected mobile homes and pitches. As a result some of the furthest areas away feel a little abandoned, but on the plus side this adds to the overall feeling of space and peace and quiet. The site is well located, really convenient for the beach and the train station and if you have bikes there is a cycle path into Nice one way and then Antibes the other we even cycled down to Cannes and back. If that is too far there is always the option of getting the train back. Thank you once again it was great and we are definitely coming back next year!!

Just back from a fabulous week, stayed at Trudy Shooters mobile home and can definitely recommend, Trudy and neal are very friendly and helpful at all times and the van was spotless.
The site is much smaller now but still excellent, great location, near to station, beach, supermarkets and 10 minutes by bus to Antibes.
Will definitely be returning, thanks to everyone on the site that made us feel welcome, including Claire, Trudy, Neal ,Julie and Paula.

Awful, please avoid. The camping is conveniently located just between Cannes and Nice and close to the train station. The facilities are outdated and filthy and the staff is truly unpleasant in the way they communicate with customers.
It is a shame because this could be so much better!

This is myself & husband's 4th year coming & 7th visit to Camp du Pylone. We usually come June & September.I have recommened this place to family & friends & there are 10 of us all coming in June. Although we have never been to another camp sit in France we highly recomend this one. We have always booked our mobile home through Lorraine & Mick who are always friendly & can't do enough to help us or advise us of places to go & see. Mick also comes & picks us up from the airport for a reasonable charge. They are a fantastic couple & their mobile homes are always spotless clean. The camp site has a home bakery were fresh bread & buns are baked daily.Their buns & cakes are to die for. There is also a supermarket on site to get fresh produce etc. The restaurant on site is run by Christian who makes you very welcome when you arrive. The food in the restaurant is very reasonably priced & also has a take away too. There is also nightly entertainment at the bar should it be from bingo, quiz, singers, karoke, magician show etc. There is also a fresh pizza take away & they are delicious. Regarding the swimming pool it is a large clean pool area.Men beware you have to wear swimming pants. This is to do with French law & not the campsite. During July - August there is a small charge for using it. There is a amusement park , crazy golf & water park all within a 5 minute walk of the camp site. The bus stop & train stop are also within a 5 minute walk from the camp site. The bus is 1 euro no matter where you want to go. The train you can get a day ticket & travel to the likes of monaco or to the market in Italy for around 12 euro per adult. There is 24 hr security at the camp site so it is quite a safe place to stay & quiet at night time after the entertaintment area has finished. All the staff at the campsite are friendly. This is a great base whether you want to visit the likes of Monaco, Cannes, Antibes Nice etc or just chill out by the pool & relax.

My family and i booked a last minute holiday to Camping du Pylone in June 04. The camp site is only a twenty minute drive from nice airport. Our caravan was in excellent condition, and only a five minute walk from all amenities on the camp site. Including a large pool, nail salon, beauty hut, pizzeria, pattiserie, bar and excellent restaurant. We found Camp du Pylone to have as much if not more to offer than most hotel complex`s, but still retaining that do it yourself real feel, that you expect from both caravan holidays and France. The amazing cote d`asur is literally on your door step, i recommemd your travel by train, as the service goes right along the edge of the coast (breathtaking). With contrasting places to visit - from oldy worldy Biot - to Metropolitan Nice and Juan Le Pan - its like having five holiday`s in one.
By far the best part of our stay in Camping du Pylone, was the fantastic hospitality of the staff and guests. Annalise and Christian are a credit!

We have been visiting Camp du Pylone twice a year since 1989. We enjoy it so much that last year as my retirement is fast approaching we decided to buy our own van on the site.

The roads were all re-tarmaced in April 2005. The shower and toilet facilities are plentiful and clean.

One thing we really like is the way that night time silence is enforced. A couple of years ago, after a couple of warnings, they actually ejected a group who refused to keep the noise down at night.

The site shop is a little expensive but then name a campsite where this isn't so. They have a fairly comprehensive stock of english products for those who need to take a bit of England with them.

The pool is excellent and free except in the high season when a small charge is made.

The club restaurant is excellent if a little pricey but again this is quite normal. Chris does an excellent job of running it, how he manages to keep going so long and with such good humour never ceases to amaze me. There is entertainment available most evening and Sky Sports for football/rugby fans is available on large back projection screens as well ason a couple of small screens actually in the restaurant so you can continue to watch while you eat (sound turned down on these). There is a pool table and several arcade machines.

I woild recommend this site to anyone with young children or who fancies a nice quiet holiday with lots to do in the local area. Marine World, Antibesland, The little Farm and the Butterfly farm are all within walking distance. The train station and bus stops are only a few yards outside the camp and fares on both are very reasonable.

On arrival at the airport, we were greeted and collected hospitably by the local people that reside at Camp Du Pylone. Also on arrival at the campsite one is personally greeted by the owners which is becoming such a graceful rarity these days. Our accomodation exceeded our expectations, appropriate for our chosen holiday. The camp site, exceeded, providing only neccessary commodities, as it has it's own fully supervised large swimming pool, coupled with a smaller childs paddling pool, together with: it's own Patisserie that provides fresh bakeries, Supermarket that provide one with all ones needs, gift shop for sourveniers, magazines and daily papers, excellent take away pizzeria, an on site restaurant that excells in both al le carte menu accompanied with an extensive take away menu. The Bar area additionally provides, an amusement arcade, American Pool and later in the evening a disco with open bar. In mid season the Bar area also provides a variety of popular excellent entertainment, catering for all age groups. On site also is playiny area for the little ones also (should I say it, as this is a camping luxury)a lauderette with ping pong ball tables and seating area devoured by vines of the South. My husband and I have children aged 17, 15, 8 and 5, we have all felt catered for with the added bonus of romance for some! On all of our departures we have always been left wanting to return and do so , often. Immediatly outside the camp site is Antibesland, Marineland, Golf Island, Aqua slide park and many many more tourist attractions that more then contribute to a varied and exciting holiday that all family members will remember with great passion. As for outside Camp Du Pylone, Biot, I do not know were to begin, it is the creme de le creme of the South of France, as it is situatated in the heart of Cote'Du'Azure with a long line of pebble beach, bars, restaurants, especially world famous nite club, restaurant and casino, 'La Siesta' , also with it's nostalgia medieval village which holds it's own stunning beauty with it's own right. Biot also neighbours it's own railway station line that can transport, from one end of the South of France to the other, just name the destination and it is more than possible at a very modest cost, here in Biot. P.S. Don't forget your camera

This has to be my favourite place to come each year, it's fantastic, the food at the auberge, the shop, the bakery, the bar, the shop, the pool and the entertainment. I have been coming here since I was little, and even now it's as good as it ever has been.
The food at the auberge is wonderful, always met my family and I's standards, never had to complain about the service or the food. We go there often as it isn't too expensive for the amount that you get. There's a takeaway service and a pizzeria which you can get food from if you would prefer to sit outside with the night's entertainment or eat at 'home.'
The pool always has a good vibe, no matter how busy it is. There's floats that you can buy which the kids always seem to have fun with!
The staff at the bar, auberge and site are lovely, they make sure that you're all happy and that every thing's okay.
If you wanted to spend time off the site, there's tons of places to go, including the beach, just down the road, along with Antibes Land, Marineland, Aquasplash. There's a train station which you can get to places like Villefranche and there's a couple of bus stops just opposite, so you can go somewhere without having to walk far or spend a lot of money.
I've always come home wanting to stay for longer as it's such a great place to visit.
I would strongly recommend Pylone to anyone looking for a great holiday in the south of France, no matter what time of year.
