The Carlton Hotel is a hidden gem in Beaulieu-Sur-Mer.
Alicia on the front desk was amazing and looked after us from our arrival until our departure. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.
If you are looking to stay in the area then look no further.
Exceptional value for money and very welcoming and friendly hotel. We would highly recommend,
Thank you to everyone who looked after us during our stay there.

We stayed a couple of nights in September. The hotel is very well kept, bright and modern. The rooms are much more spacious than its competitors, but what really made our stay memorable was the friendly and helpful team.

Special mention to Alicia, who made sure every detail of our visit was to our liking. I was very impressed when she arranged swift laundering for my suit and tie, and when I mentioned I would like one of my clean shirts ironed for a wedding, she said no problem, our team will take care of it at no charge.

A hotel is only made memorable by the team who run it, and in this case everyone was so attentive that I wouldn't hesitate to make plans with the Carlton every time we're in the area. Having visited friends at the Royal-Riviera next door, we definitely preferred the ambience, rooms and service at the Carlton.

The Hotel Carlton (and Beaulieu-sur-Mer) was a fantastic place to make base for a week on the Côte d’Azur. First of all, the location is convenient. It is a quick (25ish minute, €25-30) Uber from the airport. The hotel is a quick walk to the train station, making most of the sights of the Riviera very accessible and cheap. There are lots of decent to very good restaurants and easy walk away as well. The beach was also good for sunbathing and a quick swim, only about two minutes away on foot.

The front desk gave a warm welcome and they were exceptionally kind and helpful before and during the stay. I cannot say enough about their professionalism and kindness. Despite being a smaller hotel outside of the larger towns, I would recommend it to anyone regardless of their level of French or familiarity with the area. The entire facility gives a very upscale air, especially in comparison to other four star hotels I looked at in nearby towns and stayed at in Nice. Not to mention, the price is incredibly fair for the quality.
Drinks at the bar on some nights were very nice, as the hotel is quiet, and the breakfast was delicious each morning and normally very well enjoyed on the terrace. The pool was also very comfortable and peaceful with new loungers and it was slightly heated as a huge bonus.
The rooms themselves are very clean, very comfortable, and, again, have a very upscale feel. The air conditioning works well, a necessity for us from the southern US, and the beds were also very comfortable. The window in my room featured an electric, rolling metal blackout apparatus that made sleeping in one day almost too easy!
Room service was not obtrusive and did a fantastic job every day.

Overall, this small boutique hotel gave a truly boutique experience, sophisticated and relaxing. I would and will recommend this hotel and Beaulieu to anyone visiting the area, even as a suitable alternative to basing your trip out of Nice, where we did spend a fair amount of time. The pace and vibes were exactly what I wanted out of my vacation.

Love this Hotel. The staff are amazing and so Helpful. We stayed in a lovely Deluxe room. The bed was really comfy and the Air-con was amazingly efficient and the shutters at night gave a lovely dark quiet room to sleep in. Also in the room has a great coffee machine and kettle. The shower was amazing and the room cleaning really good and prompt.
A few mornings we took the option of having breakfast which was fantastic
The hotel has a lovely pool and sun bed area. It’s located 5 mins walk from the beach and a 5 minute walk from the town of Beaulieu which has lots of great shops, bars and bakeries.
It also worth noting there is a lovely 25 minute walk to St Jean from Beaulieu as well
This is a fantastic hotel and does what it says it will do very well
I didn’t want to post this review as I think it’s such a great place I don’t want to find you can’t get a room next summer
I just can’t thank the staff and owners enough for a great weeks stay and I will return next July

The staff were so polite and helpful. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the train station, restaurants, and the beach - perfectly located. There were several of us staying in the hotel and the receptionist helped us book a restaurant for a large group. I really like the soaps and shampoos - L'occitane. The mini bar was reasonably priced too.

This was our first vacation after COVID travel restrictions were lifted. Therefore we decided to base ourselves somewhere quiet and relaxing for three weeks from mid October to early November. We were pleasantly surprised that we had warm and sunny days except for a couple of days where the heavens opened.

We have stayed at the Carlton several times during the last twenty or so years and have an expectation of a laid back relaxing experience. This visit met and exceed those expectations. From our arrival welcome to our happy goodbyes we were looked after by all staff superbly. All staff members are friendly and all take time to have a few words or a longer chat regarding your plans for the day or anything you require.

Our room was comfortable and had all amenities you require.

Nice place well located and near the sea. Easy to go by walk at Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. The property is really calm and the staff is very pleasant. The breakfast is a good quality and can be taken early in the morning from 5 am.

I loved my stay at the Hotel Carlton. The rooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfortable for a wonderful night's rest. I also loved the fact that this hotel has two access points. One which leads you close to the iconic Villa Kerylos and the other to the beach and some amazing restaurants. What was also lovely was the note in my room on arrival; an invitation from the owner and the manager of the hotel to join them for cocktail party on the breakfast terrasse that Friday evening. As I was travelling alone, it was such a welcomed invitation. There was a live band and the music was amazing! Such a wonderful touch. The hotel is well kept and the staff are in general very attentive. An amazing stay at a great price in Beaulieu-sur-mer. The only thing I would say is that there is a charge for pets, but no bowl was in the room for my small dog though it was mentioned in advanced or complimentary bed. It would be a nice touch. Otherwise fabulous!

Attended a wedding celebration weekend at Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. This was a convenient location to go to festivities, as well as to Uber to Nice and Eze. The local neighborhood also had convenient patisseries, bistros, shops and a train station. When I arrived from the US, I would have taken the train from Nice, but the station closest to Nice Airport was closed for construction. The desk clerks were very helpful and friendly.
