Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The room felt very different to the photos shown. Our room wasn’t very clean, there were a lot of hairs on the floor and on the furniture. Very average stay. It was just okay just for 2 nights. Facilities are good, and the room is well equipped with kitchen, although we did not use this. They do not offer room service, so not as accommodating as a hotel. You only get one towel per person, and they are very thin and small. So if you are a women and want to wash your hair, bring a towel with you ;) Location good, 10 mins walk to the water front

Missing panel at entrance of hotel indicating where is the parking: you must enter to get indications by voice and hand drawing (each people that comes by car ask the same question: be prepared!). Corridors and room not well cleaned. Sauna without instructions (people enter with shoes) and no indications of temperature and humidity..
Coffee machines downstairs run out the coffee one day of 4 of our stay (is a very good coffee). Air conditioning in the room is too hard and make the air too dry in the night. At checkin we had a lot of delay and queue and 1 person at the desk (Russian and English speaking) answer in a bit rude way. Last day the key-card stopped. working around 10 minutes before 11.00 am, at desk they admit that is a bug of the system. For the rest is a very good place, fantastic position, all new. Probably need just to improve a bit the organization of the staff and will be perfect.

The building is great and well located but…….. breakfast was terrible, not a single piece of fresh fuit insight , ran out of coffee cups after about 10 customers and were told to use the cardboard ones and the sever was at best useless. We booked three rooms and it took more than 30minutes to checkin because it was so unorganized at the reception , finally we were given 3 sets of keys and every key was for the wrong couple so it took us another 30minutes of going all over the building to work out what rooms were actually ours.

Disappointing, sad.
Aparthotel where the kitchen was closed with a padlock. The elevator does not work. There is no wifi. The sink and shower do not drain. The beds looked like they had been slept in. The floor with cigarette butt burns. When we complained at the reception, the man assisted us, who was unpresentable.
Before going we had read good reviews, but we discovered that it was all a lie.
Not recommended.

Poor standards room had dirty carpets, extractor didn’t work in bathroom, breakfast was basic and poor quality, staff were hopeless and didn’t want to be there. Don’t book unless you have low standards. Only plus location is convenient

This was a lucky find. It had only been open for 2 weeks when I arrived and there was the big annual TFWA convention in town, which had taken all the accommodation in the city. Firstly, it is new so everything is clean and feels new. Second, the price was very reasonable. I had an entire one bedroom apartment with full kitchen, bath and bathroom and balcony all to myself for the cost of a small double room in most other hotels. This aparthotel has a basic gym, a lap pool and a laundry (you just pay the washing machine or dryer with your credit card - it's very easy) and above all, the location is very central, right by the train station. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. If I come back to Cannes I would stay here again without a doubt.

Relatively new hotel. Within walking distance to Palais and beach. Short walk down, takes about 5 to 8 mins. Convenient. Hotel room is modern and big. I got a room with a balcony which is wonderful. Comes with kitchen which I didn't make use of. Only downside is the shower area which has no rack to put your shampoo and shower gel bottles. And water spills onto the dry area vanity as there's no door separating the two areas. Hotel is just off the main street so it's quiet. There is laundry at the basement but instructions not cleared. However, overall, very happy with the hotel and location. Service staff are friendly. Breakfast is OK although it will be nice if there are varieties everyday. Will stay there again.

This is a new apart hotel and we loved it! Everything is modern. The design of the rooms separating the kitchen and sofa bed to the bedroom is perfect for privacy. The living room and bedroom both have TV. The room itself is bright and modern. The bathroom/shower are accessible easily to both rooms without invading privacy. There are a few minor bugs that need to be corrected, but overall a great place and we would return again when in Cannes.

Great location - an easy walk down to the shops and the beach. Room was larger than I expected and the bed comfortable. The indoor heated pool was great. Everything was clean and working. The staff were friendly.

I and a number of my colleagues booked separately to stay at this hotel for a major conference event (MIPIM). We booked 6-9 months in advance. Our bookings were constantly checked and confirmed with the hotel in the months leading up to the event.

Just two days before we were due to arrive, the hotel cancelled 6 out of 11 of our bookings (having made the laughable suggestion that we take a room at their sister hotel 20km away!). I was also told that they had cancelled 22 bookings in total that week in the same manner.

Their excuse was that they had a “technical error”. To date, they have not been able to provide evidence to substantiate this claim.

Furthermore, the hotel’s director, “Jerome Nodonum”, was never on site during the week. No doubt he was hiding from the outraged jilted customers.

Trip Advisor exists so that people have a voice to call out bad practice and outrageous hotel management. This posting is to inform other prospective customers that if you book, they may try this scam on you. Be warned that if you book during major events in Cannes (MIPIM, MAPIC, the film festival), you may end up at the other end of the Côte d’Azur or on the streets!

Not nice!
