I paid over £2000 to stay at this ""luxury "" hotel going by the photos on line and the ameneties and price range . I was scruffy,, worn out furniture which was chipped and marked ,more like a trwo star . the pool is in shade for most of the day, the breakfast was poor standard cheap supermarket standard and hardly any choice. I stuck it out for 5 days whilst i spoke to other guests to see if the whole hotel qa the same and it seemed that it was in poor state , we were then moved to another hotel, The management didnt even speak to us when we booked out to apologise, I caught a very nasty rash from the swimming pool which had tiles falling off the walls . it looked clean but there was no smell of chlorine as you would expect from a swimming pool
Absolutely appalled by the service & the staff in the hotel throughout our stay. Paid for a double classic room, but got given 2 single beds. Once we complained it then took 2 days to sort out a new room, well a new room we never got. Bar times were incorrect on the hotel leaflets, the staff were always ‘busy’ the 2 times we went for a drink. The list goes on.
I had couple of night's. My daugther at 9 could say to me - this is falling apart. The same i could say about the swimming pool. Morning 1. No bacon at break fast - 2 Small break fast - not much to choose from. Evening Parking : The parking is mission impossible to do with a station car. Swimmingpool: The sun light goes away from the swiming pool so you have only from 11-15 ish to swim in the sun. No light in the swiming pool at night. People from other apartment could stare direct, so no privacy. The swiming pool is directly at the breakfast - only a glas between. Only 10 stair's at swiming pool wich means. almost full swimmingpool with 4 people in.
Stated as part of Trafalgar group for 2 nights. Carpets very badly stained and smelly in hallway. Difficulty using swipe card. Very tiny room and a small double bed with exposed wooden base that causes one's shins to hit. Very small Bathroom and shower head kept rolling around. Worse was the glass door on side of shower bath was useless, allowing most of the water going on bathroom floor and over vanity. With the bathroom being so small, probably better to just have a walk in shower. Breakfast very average. In general, whole place badly needs refurbishing!!!! Staff exceptionally helpful.
The location is great, 15 mins to Rue Antibe, beds very comfy, fairly quiet at night. Really need to replace all carpets and decorate the landings. Breakfast very good as well and nice pool. With some decorative upgrades would be a delight to stay in
