Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Very nice hotel, and close to Le Suquet and Cannes harbour. We had a comfort rooom with a nice balcony, and a great view of the pool and garden. Very nice and smiling staff. This hotel is kept very clean, and the pool is immaculate. However, we could have used a refrigirator, and a little kettle for coffee or tea. The balcony doors could not open from the outside, a problem if You accidentally clicks it shut, which is very easy. But I can only recommend this hotel, if You find Your Way to Cannes

I stayed here for a business trip. The Check In was swift and easy. We stayed on the 1st floor and had a balcony to the back which was nice. The room had everything, unfortunately the carpet really did not look the best and I was very glad to have had a pair of slippers with me. The bed was comfortable enough for a few days, even though the blankets were to this. So you either had to have the heater on full blast, which I don't like at night, or you were always a little chilly. The bathroom had a good size and offered a decent variety of products. The shower could have had more pressure and if you were looking for it, you can see a lot of flaws such as chipped tiles etc For a business trip it is good value but I would not come here on a personal trip

Very poor state of repair. Old. Smells. Grubby. Stains on carpets. Bed spread had stains. Generally not very nice. Much nicer places to stay for cheaper. Hotel clearly has not been refurbished since the 60s.

On the good side, the hotel is not too far from the center, it is easy reachable by foot. It has beautiful garden for relaxation and nice view from the rooms. And that's about it. On the negative side, the rooms are not so specious, are quite old and some extra cleaning will do good on them. They use blankets, which is a bonus on how not to feel comfortable if you get cold, as they are not freshly washed. The breakfast is there, but not worth mentioning. What really destroyed our stay is that one of the nights, around 3 a.m someone just open our door and pumped in our room. It was creepy and scary and as we jumped out of the bed, this person get out of the room and we couldn't see who was it. We complained the next morning at the reception and it took them several hours before, after we insisted on the answer, they told us it was the night manager having problem with one of the guests but could not locate from which room. So he just enters from room to room, in the middle of the night, no apologies, or anything. It was our last booking option as we were time tight in the period of the film festival, so we didn't have much of a choice. For the future, we would look for other venue.

Staff not very friendly, something was taken from our room (not expensive but it’s the principal)... we asked for late checkout to which they said they didn’t have any rooms available for late checkout, however we could still book a room online, when asked them about this they said that if we wanted to check out late then we had to pay for an extra night.. obviously not going to do this they said that we had to check out by 11am, we went out for brunch and thought we would stay by the pool until going to the airport at 4pm, oh no. We were not allowed to stay in the hotel after we had checked out, even though we were just waiting to go to the airport. Very unhelpful and unfriendly staff, not very accommodating and breakfast selection was poor. Rooms are ok but tv did not work. Will not be recommending or returning.

Room was ok. Tv didn’t work. Unhelpful with late check out said they were fully booked but there were still rooms available. Asked to leave luggage , which was fine but once check out is done you can not use the pool or shower facilities. Overall would never stay here again. Rude staff, unhelpful and the whole place stank of incense.

This hotel has a really cosy feel with the staff making you feel really welcome. The terrace, garden and pool were a lovely places to relax and were never too crowded. Expedia didn't make it clear that use of the spa isn't included for hotel guests, but it's worth paying the €20 just once for the experience. The wifi was pretty poor and kept dropping out or was too slow. The location of the hotel was great for a little stroll down to the streets of restaurants each night, and wasn't too far from the seafront either.

Lovely hotel, room and pool area. Bus stop on street below but fairly short walk to seafront. Tasty buffet breakfast. Definitely try the house cocktail whilst sitting in the garden. Spa facilities there but didn't use.

Love the clean hotel, but the location and the parking... it was a hassle. The location was a love hate relationship. Love how it is very close to the main streets and the ports, delicious fresh seafood restaurants for walking distance. However that parking! There is a sign telling us to go into this small cramped street but it right next to the freeway, and I noticed in France once you miss a turn it takes a while to find a U-Turn location. Parking is hard because on the hill there are also locals that parks there as well. if I remember correctly there were two apartment complex. We were super lucky to find one under 30min. Thank goodness (again) the port was a very walkable distance and we did not have to pay for parking. If you really cannot find parking, there is a public parking lot down the hill (where we did end up doing the second night) the public parking place was pretty safe I price for overnight was reasonable. The hill is pretty steep so if you have a friend or family member that have a leg problem, I highly suggested the driver to pick up the car first. Besides the parking, the food there was great, the environment is relaxing. Most of the front desk speaks well-understood English! Breakfast was fresh and delicious, love the outdoor patio. KEY MUST BE WITH THE FRONT DESK BEFORE HEADING OUT, it has an interesting design (well post photos)

Almost empty hotel, maybe the season, maybe room decoration, almost claustrophobic, very dark... Maybe poor offer in breakfast for 12€! Staff not very talkative... I was very disappointed after i was told to pay as i got to the hotel for my whole stay while i told at the front desk my colleague would pay the next morning (she had added the credit card to the reservation so this could have been accomplished at the end of the journey, not causing inconvenience to the worker, myself!). Will never go back and would never recommend it. Shame!

Dear Guest, I would like to apology for the misunderstanding. As we had no special information regarding the payment. We apply our payment policy which is a payment upon arrival. Your colleague should have given us an authorisation to charge the credit card before your arrival to avoid any misunderstanding. Regards, Stephanie Accommodation Manager
