Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I spent one week in a small apartment with a balcony in the Citadines in Cannes. It was very pleasant. The apartment had a small kitchen, a living room and bedroom. Very comfortable place to stay for the week. Large windows opened up to the street and there was a U Supermarket just up the street. This apartment hotel is steps from a main boulevard leading you to the poshest area of Cannes along the Croissette and about six blocks from the beach. Along the Croissette, all the luxury shops are there as well as a casino and lots of nice restaurants. The shopping is limitless in that area. Yu will find great bakeries to get a fresh baguette every morning. The staff, kudos to Sarah, is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has parking underground but spots tend to be tight. A block or two away, there is also a paid underground parking facility if the hotel one is booked. If you don't want to pick up groceries for your room, there is a continental breakfast served in the mornings for 12 euros. Nice people, clean, safe place, you can't go wrong with the Citadines Croissette in Cannes.

When my wife and I are traveling and looking for a hotel, we go through photographs and book rooms in which the interior resembles our home. Citadines Croisette Cannes is very cozy with furnishings and lighting to create a homely atmosphere. It's nice to relax in such an environment. Service is great, helpful staff!

We stayed for about 5 days, as a family of 4 and we really enjoyed our stay! It was an ok apartment, a little old but overall it was what we paid for. The staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel is placed close to the beach and close to a supermarket and other shops. It was a great experience for what we paid for!

I’d probably make it 3.5 if I could! Decent little apartment a short walk from the station. Takes about ten minutes to get to the beach/main drag. Friendly staff. Well appointed kitchenette although v small - fine to make a little snack. Only wished the TV had some English speaking channels! Used the laundry room - 5 euros for a wash and 4 to dry.

By far, I wish I was staying here during the Cannes Festival. I had to grab 1 night and then go to our corporate apartment as we all are attending the Cannes Film Festival. The room was amazing and I slept a good 8 hours strong. The Staff was incredible. Sarah at the front desk helped me with check-in at the AirBnB our company got, but in all honesty, I wish I could stay here insted. Thank you, Sarah, for being so nice, helpful, and keep that friendly smile.

Reception:

Only open certain hours which is ok as they have security on other times. Fairly clean check in didn't take too long.

Rooms:

Our one bedroom apartment was clean and well equipped. Kitchen was super clean and had everything we needed. Bedroom was good with comfortable beds and the fold out in the living room was comfy too!

The confusion: towels/bins empty - where do you put your bins or why didn't we get fresh towels daily - very much a place where you fend for yourself!

The beach:

Access the private beach is a 50% discount at the Royal Beach a couple down from the Carlton and it was €15 instead of €30 - I advise you book in advance as I had to negotiate my way in as they where apparently full!

Location:

Great area not on top of the Cannes main area but only a 10 minute walk and across from a great local supermarket so you can fill your fridge!

Top tip:

Don't pay for breakfast - with a great supermarket just outside the door to the left and great bakeries to the right (and a little to the left across the main road) you can get fresher pieces and better value!

I enjoyed my accommodation at the Citadines Cannes. My room was spacious and I very much appreciated the kitchenette and loved the location. It is important to know that there is no night attendant and this caused me a particular problem. I arrived after 10 one evening and my card had been demagnetized. The button to call was not answered and after about 45 minutes I had to call a friend who luckily had room for me to stay for the evening. When I returned the next day I told the nice attendant what happened and she apologized but I never heard from the manager. I wrote the corporate office and have not had a reply in over a week. I'm very disappointed in this service and don't think I can recommend the hotel to others. If I had been with my family I would have been even more outraged.

I think you really need some travel experience to appreciate the idea behind this property. Fantastic location, very close to restaurants, shops, tourist attractions, etc. But at the same time, in a peaceful corner of town. Staff very helpful, polite and experienced. You get all the important benefits of a hotel, such as security, reception, cleaning etc, plus all the benefits of an apartment such as proper cooking facilities. I thoroughly recommend it for business or pleasure. It would be hard to do better.

Visited Cannes with a friend for a long weekend. The hotel is in a great location 5 minutes away from the centre and no more than 10 minutes away from the private beaches. We were able to walk everywhere, no need for taxis. The rooms are spacious and modern, well equipped and tastefully decorated - spotlessly clean. There is a brilliant little sunbathing terrace with 4/5 sunbeds to lounge on. The area was deadly quiet during our stay so we enjoyed a relaxing sunbathe or two there without disturbance. My only complaint with the apartments is that the reception is not 24 hour. We arrived before 14:00 and were unable to check into our room. If assistance were available 24/7 I could not fault the accommodation.
