We stayed at the hotel 5 nights at the end of May, beginning of June and we enjoyed our stay very much!
Very nice and clean hotel with the lovely cozy garden, which has a perfect location within walking distance to the beach, old town, shops and restaurants.
Our room was well equiped, we had everything we needed. The cleaning routins were perfect. The hotel staff was very professional, always nice and helpful.
We travel a lot but this was one of the best hotel experiences ever and we definitely come back to Hotel de Provence again!

I attend the MIPCOM event yearly in Cannes and this is my first time choosing to spend 5 nights with my fiancé at Hotel de Provence.

The moment we walked in we felt super welcomed by the friendly staff. The vibes in the hotel is very positive and amazing service. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The staff did an amazing job to clean our room everyday. Also good to mention that the hotel installed very sound proof windows, so you won’t be disturbed by outside noise.

The included Breakfast provided was continental, however you can order eggs for an add on price.

The location was perfect, It’s almost a quiet zone just a few blocks away from the bustling shopping streets. You feel safe, and You’re basically in the center of everything. Not to mention only 10-minute walk to the festival convention center.

I would definitely choose this hotel as my main stay for the following trips to come.

We stayed in this hotel in the summer and found it to be in a perfect location close enough to all the restaurants and sea but behind a few streets so it was not noisy. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was more than satisfactory. The staff could not do enough to assist you and nothing was too much problem. Its one of the few hotels that i have saved for future stays

We had a perfect stay here. If the room was a bit small, the boutique hotel is super clean, the bed was sumptuous, and the breakfast delicious. The family that runs the place was very helpful with suggestions, and the location was just steps from the main Cannes shopping district.

We splurged for the balcony room and were glad we did.

What a gem!!! The hotel and the standard room (with a cute little balcony for two to sit) is beautiful, the bed and bedding are so comfortable, the shower is a nice size with very good water pressure, the towels are soft, and the service is delightful. Just the perfect 3/4 star hotel.

My only small complaint is that the lighting in the shower/sink room (it's separate from the bathroom) is inadequate.

I loved everything about this hotel: the location, the cleanliness, the staff. OK, the rooms are small, but very well-designed and perfectly cleaned. The location could hardly be better, it's quiet, and the staff are wonderful. Only complaint: our shower head leaked a little from the side while turned on, but otherwise 100/100.

Having seen previous reviews we had high expectations of this hotel but sadly we had some disappointing aspects of our stay.

We arrived just before 3pm and completed check-in and were going to our room when we were told it was not actually ready. This was frustrating because we had been travelling and had been waiting already. We were eventually given go ahead to go to our room at 3.30pm but the cleaner was still hoovering and was a while finishing so we had to sit out on the terrace and wait further. On checkout we received an apology for this but it wasn't a great first impression.

We had the penthouse and the outside terrace is amazing, it is the redeeming feature of the hotel but some of the furnishings are in need of replacement. The room controls are quite confusing at first until you get the hang of it, wasn't immediately clear how to turn lights on for example.

Unfortunately we had further problems as we found the shower leaks water over the bathroom floor. The shower base is low so it doesn't take much but the drain doesn't clear quickly.

Another frustration we had was having to leave the room key every time we wanted to go out. It is apparently for security but I question this as when staff change over they don't know who's staying where. If someone is busy at the reception desk as well it's an unnecessary cause to wait before getting to the room or going out.

The lapse in service and room maintenance is a shame as it took the edge off what could have been an amazing experience.

Dear James, We thank you for taking the time to write us this comment even if we would have preferred to discuss it with you directly on site, You stayed in our penthouse located on the roof of the hotel, this is the first time in 12 years that we have had such a bad rating for this magnificent room, You will notice that this is also the worst rating for the whole hotel for so long, We are sorry that you did not enjoy your stay and unfortunately we do not have a nicer room to offer you in our hotel, For information, it is a bedroom of about 35 square meters with a beautiful dressing room, a beautiful bathroom, a small living room and above all a terrace of 70 square meters all planted with trees. Normally we should have given you your room at 3pm but we had just had a gust of wind at 3pm causing all the rose petals to fall on the floor of the terrace and we like everything to be spotless, really sorry for the 30 minutes delay but we thought that the beauty and the cleanliness would give you complete satisfaction of this exceptional room, A little hard to wish you the pleasure of seeing you again Our apologies again Thank you

Just came back from 8 nights in Cannes.
We stayed in one of their apartments, which we chose as we had a 4 year old with us.
The room was perfect, centrally located 10 meters from the actual hotel, with the added benefit of a small kitchenette and sofa bed.
The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels.
The hotel also provided us with free beach towels daily.
No wonder this hotel is rated number 1 in Cannes.
Also the staff, super friendly and very helpful.

A family owned private hotel with great services all way round, from cleaning to breakfast, to reception, to garage, etc
We have stayed there for 6 years every summer and do not want to change it for anything else.
Great location for the beach and restaurants .
Highly recommended.
Really best choice in Cannes.
Thanks to everybody working there.

Hi my husband and I found the beds to be very comfortable. I'd say the mattress was medium to firm with 4 square pillows on a large kingsize bed( the mattresses were two singles attached together) but this didn't feel uncomfortable and hardly noticed it. The bed linen was crisp clean white cotton bed linen and was changed every day. Hotel slippers and chocolate on the pillows included. We thought this was a very comfortable hotel in a good location for everything in Cannes centre.
