The hotel is situated in a great location near the Boulevard de la Croisette, a few minutes' walk from all the private beach and high-end shops.

The rooms are really spacious, highly equipped, and nicely designed. And the rooftop pool is amazing. Though extra shaded place could help... The proposed private beach is also very nice, clean with amazing service and food though it is not part of the hotel.

The service was pretty good at the reception and concierge, though the hotel restaurant service was relatively slow (might be due to COVID). The menu is good and tasty, but the costs of the first courses are overly priced for such small portions.

Another area for improvement is the WiFi access - the hotel seems to limit the number of users per room. Once you reach the limit of 3 users, you cannot connect additional devices...

We are overwhelmed that you thoroughly enjoyed your time at the Five Seas Hotel and appreciated the quality of service we provide. We are indeed ideally located as only a few steps away from the Palais des Festivals, iconic Croisette, beaches, train station to name just a few. Just finished a great stay here in Cannes, at the Five Seas Hotel, member of Design Hotels and affiliated to Marriott International.
I booked through American Express Platinum service "The Hotel Collection", that gave me a room upgrade to an Executive room, late check out till 3.30pm, free breakfast and 92€ (100$) bonus to spend in restaurant, bar and room service.
Ladies at the reception greet every guest with a smiling welcome, as well as the bellboys and security agents.
The hotel is right in the middle of the town, between Rue D'Antibes with its luxurious shops and the Palais de Festival and the sea.
It is a boutique hotel so it is very quiet, high level guests, small number of rooms and very attentive service.
Executive rooms are big, with king size bed and sitting room, all of design feature.
On the 5th floor there is the bar, restaurant THE ROOF where breakfast is served too and a small swimming pool with a lovely view over Cannes.
I tried food through room service, restaurant for dinner and bar service along the pool: each time a great and tasteful experience.
Breakfast is served with a nice spread of sweet and salty food, very quiet and with a kind service.
Smooth and friendly check out with a personal chocolate gift.
Just one tip for Marriott Bonvoy members: as a Titanium Elite Bonvoy, by booking through AMEX required me to add manually my membership number, in order to get Titanium benefits with this stay (welcome bonus of 1000 points, stay points and night credit, late check out).
So, I recommend to book directly through Marriott if you don't have Amex.

So, a wonderful and peaceful stay in the heaven of the Cote d'Azur!
At the V SEAS!

Dear AleTravelsPV, We thank you for sharing your experience at the Five Seas Hotel Cannes on Trip advisor. We are delighted that you enjoyed a "dream stay" at the Five and appreciated your upgrade to the Executive room as well as the quality of service we provide. All our Rooms and Suites have been carefully tought out and designed by the Hertrich & Adnet Studio like a motionless journey inspired by the Bivouac of Napoleon on his return from Elba island in March 1815. It was a real plesure to greet you on behalf of "Amex Hotel Collection" and Marriott. Attention to detail is very important to us all and that is why a personalized hand written letter is a pleasant touch when entering the room. Complimentary WIFI, VOD, mini bar, Nespresso coffee, Pages tea, snacks and Carita amenities can be enjoyed by all our guests. Your positive feedback represents a real reward in our commitment to excellence and a source of motivation. We are indeed ideally located, as only a few steps away from the Croisette, the Palais des Festivals and the high street shops on rue d’Antibes. The Roof has just been revamped by the interior designer Caroline Cosatti. It is the place to be with its magnificent views over Le Suquet, its delightful culinary journey signed by Lori Moreau, its great vibes and ambiance. We very much look forward to greeting you in the not too distant future! Best Regards,

We stayed in a junior suite in July and in August (5 days or so each time) and were happy with the incredible staff that made us feel welcome. The hotel is set in a nice and central location, it has a great pool considering that most hotels in Cannes center don’t. Food is good considering the restaurant was closed due to Covid concerns. Most of all we felt fine due to every staff members effort to make every guest feel like he’s the most important and most welcomed. Even the general manager helped with getting sunbeds around the pool, you won’t see that in every 5🌟 hotels 👍🏻. Thank you for two great stays this summer and a special thank you to Max and Fanny and their teams

I spend a lot of the year on the French Riviera, and whenever I am in Cannes, the only hotel I will stay at is the Five Seas. It's been four years since I have stayed at this hotel and it is still the best.

Upon arrival, the staff grabbed our bags, whisked us to reception, and we were in the room shortly after. I love how they still offer cold towels and water at check-in. We booked a junior suite this time (normally we have been in a regular room type). The extra space was welcome, but all rooms are spacious and well laid out. The maintenance and housekeeping of the rooms has always been absolute perfection! There is a minibar with snacks and drinks that are all included in the room rate, and additional bottles of water are left by the housekeepers. Closets are large, as well as the bathroom. For those who are used to cramped European hotel rooms, this property will be a welcome surprise. The ONLY complaint I have about this hotel is that the bathrooms are very exposed to the bedroom (a barn door-style sliding door with open slats is the only thing separating the two spaces). If you and a companion have different sleeping schedules, which we do because of jet lag, it is very noisy for the person sleeping if the other person uses the shower or sink.

The rooftop restaurant, bar and pool are hip, lively and fun, with wonderful views over the rooftops of Cannes. Staff are exceptional here, constantly checking up on guests and so accommodating. I was so impressed when one of the waiters asked me if I'd received my lost luggage from Air France, considering that the only person I'd been working with on it was the concierge! The Five Seas also has a gym and spa, neither of which I've used. The hotel is centrally-located to any area of Cannes and is just off the Rue d'Antibes shopping area.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. It's an absolute delight and I can't wait to return again.

Dear Mr RunnerMike1977, First of all, I would like to thank you for sharing your experience at the Five Seas Hotel with the travelers of Trip Advisor. I cannot describe how satisfying, motivating and appreciative your comments are by the entire Five Seas Hotel team. By reading every compliment, feel your well-being here during your stopover in Cannes means a lot to our staff. Our main concern is all about to make the stay of our guest as more comfortable and unforgettable as we can. Regarding the door of our bathroom, if we consider that the Five Seas Hotel has been designed like a motionless journey, we can maybe imagine that, when you are crossing the desert surrounded by your loves one, the privacy is less present than usually… 😊 More seriously, we do understand that this part could be picky depending on the person you are travelling with, but, next time, please, do not hesitate to contact the front desk, we can help showing you how to totally close the slats of this very special door. Once again sir, thank you so much for this lovely comment. We cannot expect better than this kind of feedback. It’s definitely a real recognition of the work done by the whole team of the Five Seas Hotel. Looking forward to welcome you back for your next visit in Cannes, Have a lovely day, Kindly yours, Irina, Assistant Front Office Manager

I cannot say enough about this hotel. It lives up to its FIVE stars. The service really puts this hotel above others. Because it is a smaller boutique hotel you really receive the five star treatment. We usually opt to stay at the larger hotels BUT never again. The Boutique hotel offers a different vibe and personalized customer service experience. The hotel is new and immaculate. Very elegant and modern. The lobby is beautiful and charming, the rooms are beautiful and LARGE, with full access to mini bar. The bathrooms are also very large and the rain shower is amazing. The rooftop pool is a stainless steel infinity pool with a beautiful restaurant with breathtaking views. The breakfast is second to none with buffet choices of fresh fruit and croissants etc and a menu to order omelettes amongst many other options. Very special mention goes out to Michelle and Shayne who couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was extra special.
Ps. Best cappuccino in Cannes

Many previous reviews describe hotel pluses widely, truly, and appropriately. A tasteful design of every room, a thoughtful security system and always kind, responsive and executive service staff in general create that atmosphere in which you feel pleasantly, and which you also remember to leave the hotel with good feelings.
About the livestream. Breakfast with a partial A la carte allowed the choice to play out enough without once making you feel underfed. Service flashy, kind and discreetly attentive. Cleaning the room regularly and very tidy with our time away. The range of cosmetics and minibar was updated regularly and without further reminders, updated daily. Beds and cushions very comfortable. Sound insulation in rooms is excellent. It was only in the evenings that the window had to be kept closed, as the hustle of street cafes allowed the city's nightlife to be fully felt. But it's not the hotel's fault. Its position in the centre of the city itself is indispensable and difficult to recalibrate.
More about the pool. Happy with warm weather at the end of October. Throughout the day, there were open spaces around the pool for relaxation, sun and swimming. Water temperature in the pool 29 degrees C.
Overall, the entire hotel team deserves the best praise and my opinion that this is the place I'd like to go back to more.

Spacious, perfectly clean, friendly and helpful staff, great decor and ambiance, several hygiene measures, tasty and elaborate breakfast. Great private beach recommended.

Being a rather small boutique hotel, we were treated with a lot of attention and it was a very personalized and enjoyable experience.

The hotel is located on the Rue Notre Dame and from our big windows we could admire the stained glass of the Notre Dame de Bon Voyage church, which at night were lighten and offered a spectacular view.

Everything was perfect and I will definitely return to this hotel.

Our stay at the Five Seas Hotel Cannes was a spontaneous booking due to a last-minute change of plans. We had no particular expectations of the hotel or its staff.
This made our arrival at the hotel all the more surprising, as we were greeted with a remarkably courteous, friendly and helpful service. The staff immediately took care of our car and luggage and we checked in with a drink in the lounge.
The rooms are well equipped, spacious and, although facing the street, it was quiet enough to sleep with a window open at night.
The service in the hotel, from breakfast to reception, concierge and restaurant staff was unobtrusive, professional, courteous, attentive and always friendly and helpful. We have not often enjoyed this type of service in the past.
Location, facilities, food and beverage are all important, but first-class staff always make the difference. This is certainly the case at the Five Seas Hotel Cannes. Chapeau and our sincere thanks go to Max, Kathy, Daniel, Louise, Cedric, Paula and all the many lovely colleagues who made our stay such a special experience.

The Five Seas is for several years our choice to stay in Cannes. Everything is perfect from the location to the design. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and modern. Our room was always clean and tidy.
Everyone from the manager to the roommaid is extremely professional, helpful and courteous. As a guest we received individual attention and our wishes were always met in a friendly manner. This is already true at the welcome desk and continues with the concierge and the service in the restaurant and bar.
We can warmly recommend the Five Seas.

We stayed here for a week in late October, the pool was heated, and because the weather was ok we spent a lot of our time at the pool. It was gorgeous to swim in although actually climbing out was an ordeal. No steps.
