For many years, my companion and I would visit Cannes over summer. Last year in May, we decided to try out the Le Majestic hotel due to its close proximity to many of the restaurants on Rue Saint-Antoine.

Previously, we would stay at another 5 star hotel which is a little further from the current location. As my companion is 88 years old, the location of the Le Majestic hotel is perfect and within walking distance to many of the attractions nearby.

It may be a few months now but I recall with great fondness the very warm reception upon arrival from Madame Pauline Carme at the front desk. We requested a room with a walk in shower due to my companion's limited mobility and was duly given a most beautiful corner suite.

Throughout our stay, we noticed the staff were all extremely helpful and kind and nothing was too much to ask of them. The breakfast was very busy but the staff work tirelessly and always with a smile. Such a nice environment to stay in.

Madam Pauline Carme called a few times just to make sure we were all right and had everything we need. Such incredible level of care and service. It really touched us the attention to detail she displayed. What a beautiful soul.

Overall, we find the facilities are very up to date especially the gym. The level of cleanliness is also very high throughout the hotel. We would definitely choose this amazing property on our next visit this summer.

My only regret is for posting this review so late due to unforeseen circumstances. But my memory of the beautiful experience is still as fresh as it was yesterday.

Super deluxe property for sure.

My family and I have been visiting The Majestic for many years and have always enjoyed the impeccable service at Fouquet’s and the pool bar! As we own a villa in Mougins, we’ve never had a good reason to stay as overnight guests. We decided last weekend to have a staycation in Cannes, but after reviewing the online reviews we were surprised to read so many varying grades in regard to service, accommodations and overall experience.
Nevertheless, we decided to book for the weekend.

First and foremost, any negative comments are completely unwarranted! I’m not sure what kind of drugs the guests had taken to not realize that this hotel deserves only 5 star plus reviews!

At check in, Julie at the reception was extremely welcoming, informative and efficient. Her smile and energy set the pace for our stay.

Upon proceeding to our room we noticed as always before that the public spaces are not only gorgeous but immaculate!
Once we entered our room, we were totally blown away. The size and sea front location along with all the amenities you can imagine, genuinely impressed us. The room was just beautiful, well appointed and immaculate as well. We could not find fault in any department.

We dined at Fouquet’s for breakfast and lunch and again the service was always kind and efficient. Élodie along with one of our servers were both equally kind, efficient and very hospitable! The food as always was impeccable as was the entire staff.

Upon deciding to go out for dinner, we were well guided by Eric, the concierge. He suggested we go to La Môme in the center of Cannes. It took him exactly 30 seconds to contact the owner of this very popular restaurant. It is usually quite difficult to reserve a table, but not for Eric. He also helped us tremendously during the entire weekend and fulfilled all requests surprisingly fast! Thank you Eric! You are the best!

We enjoyed ourselves so thoroughly that we plan to make The Majestic our weekend retreat. There is not one thing we could find to dislike during our entire stay!
Upon checking out were greeted by Aina whom genuinely wanted to ensure that our stay was pleasant and up to our standards.
She is sunshine personified as are all the staff members at The Majestic!

Thank you so much for a magical stay!
Avi

We had been upgraded from the Majestic's sister hotel, which we were very pleased about.

Jennifer gave us a very warm welcome, which was a precursor of the excellent service that we were to receive for the duration of the stay. All of the staff spoke excellent English, and didn't laugh at us when we tried to speak French (which is very limited - but at least we tried!) Nothing was too much trouble for the staff for the whole of our two night stay.

The room itself was spacious and extremely comfortable. The bed was fantastic and the shutters completely shut out all of the light and noise. As you would expect the room (and indeed the hotel) is very tastefully decorated.

Breakfast was fantastic - who doesn't love champagne for breakfast?! We also had a drink in the bar one evening which was luxurious.

We'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Firstly I would say the reception, concierge and breakfast staff were fantastic and extremely helpful during our stay. I didn’t get the name of the lady who welcomed us at breakfast but she was a credit to the hotel and really made us feel welcome.

The points that made the trip far from comfortable was the temperature of the room, the air conditioning didn’t work and after phoning three times there was no resolution. A member of staff was sent and they promised it would reduce the temperature in 10 minutes. It never reduced and the air conditioning did not work for the whole stay. This made sleep quality very bad and ruined the stay for me.

The breakfast was okay but the price of it was ridiculous. As is the mini bar unless you are rich and don’t mind paying 13 euro for a 500ml bottle of Evian and 11 Euro for a Twix chocolate bar do not use the mini bar at all. We wanted to hire a car but decided against it as 45 euro per night seems steep to me.

The pool area was far from relaxing with a view from the restaurant area directly looking out to it. No toilets nearby or changing area and you have to walk out of the hotel to access it.

The room was very dark, in fact most of the hotel felt dark and very tired old room with a tiny balcony to sit on. I would say the room was not clean either.

Overall I would not recommend this hotel, we were looking forward to a relaxing break and to recharge but it didn’t feel like it due to the poor sleep quality.

The location of the hotel is good though.

This is definitely a 5 star experience with a kind and friendly staff. Always a smile and asking if there is anything they can do for you. I arrived on a very stormy rainy night. The airport transfer left me off across the Croisette. The bellmen came across the street in the pouring rain to help with my luggage. I had a lovely conversation one evening with Charlotte at the front desk. She made me feel like a long time friend. I left a scarf in my room after I checked out. When I returned to the US, I wrote the hotel They found it and sent it to me. I had it back in just a few days. Any hotel can have fine linens, heated towel racks, Nespresso coffee makers in your room. But kind and thoughtful staff, is true luxury.

Visited this hotel in Cannes for three nights. Jennifer the lady that checked us in on the Friday was great, really attentive and friendly without making it seemed forced. She really could teach other hotels as her manner was totally perfect!

The rooms were lovely, a little small but so comfortable. The bed was exceptional, we slept really well during our stay.

The location was central with great views which made everything seem so easy and you really felt the Cannes mood.

Breakfast at Fouquets has to be one of the best, so many options for a three night stay! Even Valharona chocolate and champagne - super French!

Would definitely visit again.

I stayed there with my daughter for a week in July 2020, and my stay was nothing short of wonderful!
In particular, Jennifer and Roman from reception were extremely courteous, customer oriented and went over and above their way to ensure I got the room I wanted (asked to change my initial room to another one with a balcony). Also,if you have any children, the team of the kids club are an absolute delight and so professional and careful with the children. They made sure my non French speaking daughter felt right at home and engaged, and even organized a gift bag for her on her last day!
The fresh fruits that are offered in the beach breakfast area are just a delight and always so fresh.
The hotel location couldn't be any better.
I would highly recommend this hotel as you get your value for money. As for myself, I know where I will be staying for my next Cannes trip!

The Majestic is superb in every way. Highly recommended, without hesitation. The high standard was shown to me by an exceptional welcome by Isabelle. When Isabelle noticed that my wife was slightly incapacitated by a foot injury, Isabelle immediately allocated us a room which was more convenient - extremely thoughtful and professional. Thank you Isabelle and Team Majestic.

My wife and myself spent eight nights in the Hotel Victoria. The first night was our wedding anniversary and I had emailed Paul Henri in the hotel to request flowers and balloons for our room. Without fail when we arrived the helium balloons and a beautiful display of flowers were in our room. Great service.

The hotel is in an excellent location approximately 5 minutes' walk from the train station down the Rue Antibes and is approximately 200 metres from the sea front. It has all the advantage of proximity to the Corsette but without the exorbitant prices.

I had looked at the Grand Hotel on the Corsette, (with no pool), which was already pricy but then on top of that you had to pay 70 Euros each for the use of their beach club. The hotel Victoria is 4-star quality with a pool. It was very hot when we were there so in my view access to a pool, or the beach is an essential part of a holiday in Cannes.

The room overlooking the garden had a balcony and was excellent. Spacious, clean and a very comfortable bed. The double glazing, shutters and air conditioning all contributed a very comfortable and good night's sleep.

Fanny on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, recommended some excellent restaurants as the hotel doesn't provide evening meals. Between 7-7.30pm you are offered a free glass of wine from their own Vinyard. I recommend the Rose.

Overall, I can't recommend Hotel Victoria highly enough. And ok on the Coreset by the sea front there may be hotels with facilities like spas and their own in-house restaurants, but you will pay an exorbitant price for them

In summary, Euro for Euro the best hotel in Cannes!

I've stayed at the Majestic several times and always found it to be Wonderful.
The location is perfect, the rooms spacious, quiet and very comfortable.
The staff is always welcoming.
As American's arriving in France for the first time since the pandemic, we were a bit skeptical about the condition of the Resort hotels in the South. The Majestic was up to its usual High Standards. Everyone was wonderful, from the Concierge (wish I remembered his name) to the waiters, Front desk and Maid staff.
Cannes is truly a Gem, it may not have the so called jet set glamour of St Tropez (yes its great there as well) But it still exhibits a charm and class not found in Nice etc.
The Beach staff was both polite and efficient, if ever a glass was empty they spotted and addressed it. If it got a bit warm they adjusted the umbrellas or brought over a spritz to spray your face.
As you would expect this level of service isn't inexpensive the beach chairs are priced per row (closest to the beach, more then row 2 etc). But great vacations are often determined by the accommodations, and as such you can't go wrong staying at
The Majestic.
