Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great location - lovely boutique hotel with excellent staff - special mention for Rahoul. We are repeat visitors to Le Cavendish and it never fails to deliver on all levels. The beach package with Le Goeland is particularly good as they reserve sun loungers each day and the restaurant on the beach is expensive but good.

We have enjoyed stays at Le Cavendish since 2015 and we were not disappointed in returning this July following the lifting of travel restrictions. Le Cavendish offered us excellent service during lockdown transferring our arranged stays at no extra charge until we were finally able to return this year. The reception staff are professional, friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Christine the proprietor, Ingrid the Assistant Manager and Raoul (sorry if spelling wrong) as they make sure their guests are really well cared for. Breakfast is very pleasant and the wine tasting with nibbles offered early evening makes an excellent start to the evening ahead, then returning to a tastefully decorated room and the most comfortable bed! We look forward to our next stay.

Absolutely recommended. My daughter and I stayed for my birthday weekend and feel that we couldn’t have chosen anywhere any better than Le Cavendish. The warm and friendly check-in was completed with a glass of wine in a cosy foyer that reflected the style and charm of this splendid building. We were taken to our room by means of a fully restored lift built in the 1920’s. Our executive room didn’t disappoint in any way. It was a large well lit room, romantically overlooking the Cannes rooftops, with a very large bathroom that had a full sized bath, a separate shower and doored toilet. The furnishings were quite delightful and the two elegant single beds were very comfortable, with luxury bedding.
The 6.30- 8.30 wine tasting was a perfect way to unwind and settle in to our weekend in Cannes. We sat in the plush salon, whilst very friendly staff brought us dishes of olives, nuts and sliced meats, and helped ourselves from a choice of wines, beers and soft drinks. The same salon was also where we had breakfast the next morning. Breakfast surpassed any I have ever had before in all of my very many stays in French hotels. There was a large choice, too many items to list, but every cheese, meat, bread, cake , fruit, yoghurt, juice was fresh and excellent quality. Exceptional croissants….large, crisp, fluffy and served warm.
Added to this, ALL the staff were wonderful in their dedication to making us feel so special and valued.
PS The hotel is situated in a very good location in the Old Town within easy reach of bars, restaurants, shops and of course the coastline.
I really am planning on returning to Le Cavendish.

I booked this hotel with plans to stay in Cannes for one night, but on our train ride down from Lyon, there was a terrible rainstorm where our train stopped in the middle of its tracks so we got stuck at the Marseille airport with no car rentals available. Fortunately, our booking services let us know that they contacted the hotel to let them know of our situation and the hotel gave us a full refund for the stay. We are so extremely grateful for this class-act hotel who understood our circumstances. The only sad thing is that I wanted to stay at this cute hotel because I read the reviews and looked at its pictures and felt that it would be memorable to stay at this cute gem. We would like to return to Cannes and will book this hotel next time we go.

We found the hotel amazing. We had a very warm welcome at our arrival, the staff was very kind and helpful everywhere in the hotel. This small boutique hotel has only 34 rooms so you can feel yourself like in a big family. Having this feeling helps that in the bar drinks (alcoholic and non alcoholic) are free between 6.30 and 8.30 pm so the hotel guests have chance to talk with each other. The room was very nice with mini bar stocked daily with two bottles of water. There were robes and slippers provided and fresh towels daily unless you opted to re-use them. The breakfast is extended continental with a variety of juices, fruit, yoghurt, cheese, ham, boiled eggs, baguettes, toast, tea and coffee and more. We would certainly recommend this hotel and I do hope once we will return again.

I had read the reviews, and thought this sounds really good, I wasn't let down.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were amazing & very helpful.
The breakfast is good, all you need to get you ready for the day, & the evening drinks to socialise with your fellow stayers is just as great.
If you manage to book yourself a room for your short stay here, your lucky...
Your in good hands. The room we had was great with a very large double bed.
Thank you to all the staff especially Raouf, for a wonderful stay, it made our long weekend an unforgettable adventure.
NOTE: After reading some reviews, This is not the HILTON, but that is exactly why we stayed here, boutique & Wonderfully different.

The rotunda rooms provide the cinematic splendor of Cannes; the day passes from sunrise until long after sunset with the makings of every movie dream and you can visualize it as a pedestrian or join in the merriment in this incredibly friendly and walkable community that makes movie dreams come true. The hotel attends to your needs and anticipates your movements. From the breakfast to the nightly cocktail hour, the staff is ready to serve you as if you were one of the celebs at the film festival.

It’s always a pleasure to return to Hotel Cavendish with its very English decor but right in the heart of Cannes ...great location as it’s close to the Croisette and the Palais des Congress. Staff are very friendly , give you great tips for restaurants , they have nice partnerships with the beach restaurants for access to a relaxing day by the beach. The evening open bar is another highlight . Rooms are very comfortable and the stay is good value for money.

This was our 5th visit to Cannes where we stayed at Le Cavendish Hotel. It would have been more if we hadn't been restricted by Covid. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff very helpful. We booked the beach package where we had access to the private beach and were provided with a beach bag and towel. We took advantage of the drinks in the evening before we went for our dinner and received excellent service from the barman. We would certainly recommend Le Cavendish.

I booked this hotel last minute in Cannes. It's a a very cute little hotel. Well located and very easy to walk to most places. Also easy to reach the bus station. The room was clean but quite small. The bathroom was also very tiny. It is pricey for a small room but Cannes tends to be expensive.

Dear Guest, Sorry for delay replying to you but I did not get your message before. The garage we are using is a maximum height1.80 m so if your car is 2m high, we will not be able to park it in our underground parking. Means that you will have to park it ourside on your own . We will show you some slots when you will arrive. May I get your name and arrival date ? Many thanks, Christine WELTER Owner
