We stayed at the Hotel Cannes Croisette on the 31st March,2016, [formerly the Albe Hotel ] so now the outside is completely different, it has a very pleasing and contemporary new look. It is rated two stars at the moment but l believe it is on its way to 3 stars. The reception / breakfast area has an airy open... More

The recepcionist, Juan Felipe, was very good and helpfull. He helped us looking for a parking spot and gave us general touristic information in detail. In Cannes city center is hard to find parking spot on the streets. The hotel recepcionist offered us to leave the car in front of the hotel where there are availability just for two staff... More

We were looking for a budget friendly hotel for a weekend in Cannes and Hotel Albe was in a fantastic location within 2 blocks to the water and easy access to the beach. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it is functional if you plan on staying for a short time. We were hoping to use the safe for our... More

recently I had the opportunity to stay in this classic, little and cosy hotel. A place which reminds you of the old films of Monsieur Hugó. When you enter the 5 (or 6) story building, you will notice the blue and white tablecloth on the summerly decorated gardentables (and the chairs of a French Bistro). Here you are welcomed (I... Very cheap, very central but abominable loud incessant live music until late on Friday and Saturday nights at least comes from some bar close by or outdoor venue. We were only there for the weekend. All other reviews are spot on re the basically clean and good rooms and the very friendly and helpful staff but you just cannot sleep... More

I've been to Cannes regularly for the advertising festival and this is frankly the best among all the places I've stayed in. My room was effectively a garret with a low ceiling and a small window. While my initial reaction was on the lines of "what the hell?!", I quickly amended my rating from 'cramped' to 'cosy'. This was on... More

2 mins away from the croisette and great staff. Room was clean and en suite shower was ok. Prices were reasonable given the excellent location. Recommended if on a budget.

The reason I've given the Albe 3 stars is it's location & the fact that, despite being extremely basic, it seemed clean. This hotel has a pretty little entrance lobby & is a very short walk to the 'Palais des Festivals' with its famous red carpet/Film Festival association & is therefore very near to the beaches & all the shops,... With 2 star hotels expectations are not high. This little hotel with a friendly service, rooms of acceptable size if you don't compare it with the US hotels, very good location between Rue Antibes and Croisette, and breakfast included, met our expectations. If you're driving, there is no parking space, you need to find a place on the street or... More
