Very super friendly welcome at the accommodation. The owner is extremely helpful, the rooms are absolutely clean. It feels like you are part of the family. The location is very close the ancient part of Cannes, only 10 min walking distance. Still the area is quiet in the night and there is a small park nearby to take a walk with the dog.
Breakfast is provided on a cosy little terrace at the back of building. Also free parking is provided.

This hotel isn’t in the centre but it’s so easy to walk in and out from, we did it no problem. We arrived and parked the car in a secure parking, the whole neighbourhood is very safe and secure. The owner was beyond helpful- so friendly and wanting to welcome. He does a brilliant job. The hotel is a budget hotel but has everything you need. Comfortable beds, working shower, is clean, has shutters for cooling, refreshments provided. No issues at all. Very happy to have stayed here for the night we did. Lots of entertainment in the hotel. Loved it, thankyou

Barry and Isma made my stay the best one in Cannes. They are very helpful and paying attention to details all the time. Definitely, the best of this accommodation it is the staff.
On top of that, It is super well located, close to city center and train station. You can go walking from here to everywhere. The common area they have it is super comfortable and also the garden. I recommend this option in Cannes 100%

I liked my stay at hotel Esperanto .i just made a stop of one night there on my travel . The people at the desk are amazing ,very nice and accurate . One of the best welcoming I ever had in an hotel .The vibe of the hotel is amazing . The position is not so central but not bad at all ,just upper the train station ( 600m ) . The room was very clean and there was all I needed and more ( tv ,tea, ac) . Recommended

Yes, its simple. Yes, its not in the thick of it. But who cares? The hotel is clean, cozy, and safe. Denis is incredibly nice. He makes you feel like you've known each other for years. We almost couldn't get a reservation this year because of the festival but he emailed us the second he had a cancellation to let us know that we'd be able to stay with them. Perfect! We've been two years in a row and we've stayed in two different rooms; both lovely. This last one (#7) was great with its little balcony. We'll never stay anywhere else in Cannes. Thank you thank you!

This hotel is what I would call more like a bed and Breakfast. Family owned and very friendly and helpful. The directions provided to us were excellent. We had no problem finding the facility and was just about 10 minutes walking from the beach. I would definately return to Esperanto again.

For me, the hotel keeper Mr Denis is one of a kind. He was absolutely great and very helpful with everything, telling us what to see, where to go, stories about the city, etc. etc.
I believe that staying in this hotel made our stay in Cannes much more enjoyable.
The hotel is very cozy and clean.
Breakfast is very nice, sweet pastries, cereal, cheese, coffe, tea, orange juice, server by the hotel keeper himself.
Not even 10 minutes to walk to the La Croisette.
I absolutely recommend Hotel Esperanto to anyone who does not require a luxury five-star hotel. You will surely enjoy your stay here.

I have been going to the MIPCOM conference in Cannes for many years now. 5 or 6 years back, I managed to get booked into Hotel Esperanto and have stayed every year since. It feels like my home in Cannes. I love my comfortable room and my little balcony. It is only about a 10 minute walk to the Palais and the water. The train station is even closer. Shopping, everything is not far at all. Denis (the proprietor) is very welcoming and a joy to chat with. It is a clean, cozy, family run hotel in a quiet but central neighbourhood.

We stayed at Esperanto in April 2011. The staff greeted us like we were family, they spent good 30 minutes telling us about all the best places to eat and see. The room was very clean and modern. Comfortable bed, large bathroom. We had the cutest little balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Everything is within 10 min walk. Very quiet neighborhood, parking right in front of the hotel. The hotel entry door can be unlocked only with a code, it stays locked 24/7, which made us feel very safe. We absolutely loved our stay. We will be back for sure.
