Wow! This hotel was absolutely amazing and one of the best on our whole Europe trip. It is a family run hotel so we appreciated that the staff were always so helpful in telling us what to do & where to go. Always someone on the front desk and they suggested the most amazing seafood restaurant to us one night and an Italian restaurant for the next night.

The room we had must have been recently renovated as the bathroom was new & interior looked new! We were on the top floor with an incredible view over the shops/restaurants below and could even see the ocean from our balcony. Perfect to sit out there with a drink so ask for room #20 if you stay here!!!

The hotel also has an elevator which can be hard to find in Europe so that was a bonus. And LOCATION!!! Can walk to everything.

The only thing we could fault was that the bed was not the most comfortable, but for what we paid we were absolutely blown away by this hotel and cannot fault it. I have been recommending it to all family & friends! We will stay here again in a heart beat.

Room Tip: Ask for room #20 if you want a balcony with a view of the sea! We got so lucky getting this room.

I love this hotel - and have been coming here year on year! It is exactly what I want from a small family hotel - modern clean rooms. Great friendly welcome and excellent value for money. The rooms are small but efficient with a great walk in shower. The location at the heart of Cannes is amazing. When you spend most of your time on the beach or exploring this is all I need to relax and recover before a night under the stars of Cannes. I will definitively keep coming back!

Stayed 3 nights at one of their apartments. The apartment was well-decorated and equipped with a big fridge, washer and dryer, microwave, and coffee machine. Great location, steps from the beach, and the management was very helpful. Will definitely visit again.

It doesn't look like I am going to get to stay at this hotel, which is disappointing. I booked in February 2015 for an October 2015 stay. I received an email from the travel booking site I used to make the reservation today that the hotel is saying that they are fully booked and will not honour my reservation. It is a very busy time in Cannes with a trade show, which is why I booked so far ahead. This leaves me in a terrible predicament with two weeks to go before arrival. Any comparable booking is going to cost me more than twice as much at this stage. Given how far in advance I booked, I can only assume that the hotel is taking advantage of the demand, and trying to cancel my reservation and to re-sell my room to someone who will pay a higher price. I think this is a despicable and shady business practice. I would encourage you to think twice about booking at this hotel since they seem to not honour their contracts. I entered into a good faith agreement with them via a travel website and was willing to pay the price listed. It seems very unfair and unprofessional to tell me now, so close to time of arrival, that they don't want to honour the booking. So book at your own risk, this hotel is unreliable at best.

Response from Christian-florian, General Manager at Hotel Le Florian
Responded 30 Sept 2015
Hello, I receive your Tripadvisor and Yelp notice, as you write on your mail. And last week I received the travel agency cancellation. I understand your disappointment, I’m really sorry about this communication problem between you and your travel agency. But as I explain in my previous mail, since last February we never confirmed the reservation made by a travel agency for you. And unfortunately we can’t help you because the hotel is full since the end 2014, cause Mipcom Congress. As example for this congress, the hotel is full nearly one year before. Each of our guests pre-order is reservation in November for next October. And they book directly with us or by the congress organizer, without any problem. One more time I understand your disappointment and I’m sorry about it for you. Regards Christian Giordano Hotel General Manager

Wanted a hotel in Cannes that did not cost the earth and chose Florian on Internet. Very lucky and good choice because owners are charming, coffee wonderful, the best croissants in town. Location is perfect for beach and town center. There are just two drawbacks that were no problem for us but could be if you are big people (rooms are just big enough to swing cat in) and loud school playground noise in daytime behind hotel. I loved it there because of the owner's charm, excellent breakfast and great location. Would go back tomorrow. Thank you again Florian! See you soon hopefully, Catherine (from Frankfurt)

Le Florian is an excellent choice of hotel in Cannes. The location is superb and although the rooms are quite small, this pales into comparison with all the positive features. Good sized bathroom, hand held shower but decent hair dryer (essential tool for the girls). The bedroom had good sized wardrobes with full length mirrors and comfortable beds. The cleaner called each day & provided clean towells & was extremely efficient. Le Croissette is aproximately 30 seconds away & there are lots of bars & resturaunts on the doorstep. Having said that - we were not bothered by a lot of noise at night, although we were rarely back before midnight. The reception staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful & the breakfast is much better than any of the local cafes. No complaints whatsoever, I would definetly return!

Hotel Florian is a friendly, homey place in the heart of Cannes. The location is great with good access to beaches and shopping. The staff were so, so friendly, and the room of decent size and great quality for the price. Very clean - absolutely satisfied. Air conditioning unit in room a huge plus. Owner of the hotel asked me to please post my review on venere - a good sign that he is confident of the great quality of his establishment. I would stay here again and again.

This hotel was announced as two-star rated with small rooms. My room turned out to be a small apartment with kitchenette, microwave, etc. I couldn’t use it extensively but it came as a nice surprise. The hotel is located 300 m from the train station and in similar distance to the old harbor and events center. Yet it is quiet and calm on a side road. The rom was clean and moderately modern. Breakfast was surprisingly included and consisted of a typical French selection of baguette, croissants, coffee and orange juice. I recommend this house when traveling on medium low budget.

Do not be fooled by the photos of the rooms that the hotel posts online. Their rooms do not look like that, maybe one or two do, I am not sure, but the room we got was completely disgusting.

The staff was not friendly or helpful, the parking that was promised and advertised was not available, the room smelled of cigarettes even though we had requested nonsmoking room, the area outside the room is very very noisy, the air conditioning blows directly on top of you with no way to control it.

The only good thing about this place is the location and price, I suppose. Even so, I would choose to stay somewhere further out if you have driven, do not hope for them to help you with parking.

My mother and I have just come back from a fantastic week at the Hotel Le Florian and we can highly recommend it. We stayed one night in the hotel itself and then a week in a self-catering apartment, both of which were very clean and in good condition. We received a lovely welcome from the owner, Christian (who speaks good english) and our bags were carried up to our apartment.

Nothing was too much trouble for Le Florian and I cannot rate this little gem of a hotel more highly. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but then we never do, prefering instead a cafe. But we caught sight of the breakfasts a couple of times and they looked very generous.

It was easy to book our trip by email, everything was confirmed and Christian even checked us in online for our return flight home! We were given a map of Cannes and offered help with bus stops and anything else that we asked about.

I absolutely cannot recommend this lovely little hotel highly enough. Because it is clearly a family business, it has a very friendly and warm atmosphere, which you will not find in all hotels. Furthermore, you can tell with this great hotel that the owners really care about it.

The location of Le Florian could not be better. It lies on a street running from the Croisette (on the seafront) to the Rue d'Antibes (main shopping street) and has a plethora of clothes shops, cafes and restaurants along its length. If you step out of the hotel and look to your right, you have a wonderful glimpse of the bay of Cannes. It was the perfect location!

I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and could not find fault with any aspect of it whatsoever. We are already planning our return trip!!

C’è un parcheggio multi piano due traverse più su. Mi pare sia il parcheggio della stazione, inserendo nel navigatore Place de la Gare. C’è al suo interno un ufficio di autonoleggio sixt. Poi a piedi fino all’hotel sono 5, 7 minuti a piedi.
