Three exceptional guest rooms & 2 self-contained luxury holiday apartments in "Le Moulin Sainte Anne", a breathtaking, genuine early 18th century olive oil Mill. The Mill has been tastefully restored and retains the original machinery employed to produce Olive oil from two water wheels, one of which is located under the Mill in a historic network of subterranean water tunnels. It offers 3 large sized en-suite bedrooms, which combine the charm of old beams and stone walls with the modern comfort of 4 star accommodation (WiFi, Satellite TV, mini refrigerator, safe..) It also offers 2 independant apartments with well equipped kitchen, 1 large bedroom each and a living/dining space. The extensive grounds of the Mill offer imposing views into the pre-Alps and surrounding Provencale countryside. The gardens include a vineyard, olive trees, stone restanques and a discreet swimming pool carefully integrated into it's surroundings. Situated on the west side of Grasse in the "Quartier Sainte Anne", the Mill can easily be reached by motorway from Nice Airport (30 min.) And from Cannes (20 min.) Restaurants, convenience shops (bakery, fishmonger, market, wine store..) And a choice of supermarkets may all be found within less than 5 minutes by car.

I highly recommend staying at the Moulin Sainte Anne in Grasse. It is a wonderful B&B run by great hosts David and Audrey. The location is excellent – close enough to Grasse to be accessible, far enough to be quite. The hosts have done a wonderful job remodeling including adding

We stayed here with our two young children (2 years old & 8 months) in May 2018, in the 2-bed apartment / Gite Tilleul, and left with mixed feelings. It is a nice, old mill, that has been extensively built upon. We paid around 990 euro including tax for the week (plus 50 euros

We always appreciate feedback - although we do feel compelled to respond to certain points for the benefit of context and clarity for our future guests. The optional breakfast for our gites which have fully equipped kitchens is well communicated during the reservation process, so if you chose not to take it then that's no problem, we are not quite sure why you felt compelled to make a statement about that? The gites by definition are self-catering (unlike our chambres d'hôtes which include breakfast and do not have kitchen facilities) and it is impossible that we include everything you might need for your stay - self catering does mean that you provide your own food, and we did provide you with what you needed when you asked for it. Given we live on the property and are highly available and told you very clearly to ask us for anything you needed we are not sure why you wrote that? Having said that - we do listen to your point and will be more attentive to the levels of essential cooking products we leave for you. We are sorry if the TV has only French channels in France, we do also provide a DVD player and high speed Internet. Regarding your comment about WiFi, this is just opportunistic and disappointing. We mentioned to you very clearly on arrival that our property had just been hit by a rare electrical storm just days before you arrived which literally electronically exploded parts our WiFi network (we also lost a lot of other electrical equipment) - it took some time and effort to resolve which I had already partially done before you arrived and clearly informed you that I had partially restored service. You broke our good quality chair through misuse (standing on a cross bar) and did not think to apologise nor propose a solution. We charged you a nominal fee of 50 euros as you mention, but in fact the chair is not possible to bring back to it's original condition so we are now obliged to replace it at a higher cost. Furthermore, before your arrival we had just repainted the apartment , and on your departure we found numerous areas which have been unreasonably damaged. It is true we are in the latter stages of bringing back to life a second ancient stone mill in our grounds but those works are bounded physically and progress is kept to weekdays during the day, well away from the main swimming pool and relaxing areas. Within seconds of seeing the our main swimming pool your son was busy trying to throw stones in it, a fact which we discussed freely - we don't understand why you transfer blame and create confusion? We do not pretend to be a holiday park, and wish you the very best of future holiday breaks in such locations which are perhaps more suitable for your tastes? As the old saying goes 'it is impossible to please everyone all the time' -- may we suggest a holiday park the next time?

We really enjoyed our stay at Moulin Sainte Anne. The B&B is a work in progress as the family owners are upgrading the grounds and the pool area, but we still felt it was a restful place to stay. We had some trouble locating the entrance to the driveway off a very busy road,

Thank you! We love real honest reviews! As you mention we are proud to be resuscitating another of our 3 ancient Olive Mill buildings - as you might imagine this is no mean feat! The great news is that all the major work on the remaining 2 mills we have is all finished (roof, walls and structure) - we are now busy inside, and it's important to mention that this is in an isolated area well away from where you can relax, swim and have impromptu dinners for which we are more than happy to provide you with all you need to buy your provisions and dine in privacy and beautiful calm in the evenings. As many of you say to us ... 'far better than a restaurant' !! We look forward to your return!

The property is very beautiful and rustic. The owners' family live in the estate too and kind-hearted Audrey has adopted 1 shy dog, 4 friendly cats and 6 chicken. Breakfast is really sumptuous and delicious. There's a market nearby -- my husband and I went there to buy cheese,

Thank you !!! Another honest and balanced feedback - thank you for accepting that huge step of building the pool - it was a short disturbance in your life and many months in ours, it felt at the time that we could never see the end! Now it is there and beautiful, all seems forgiven - but we cannot thank you enough for your positive feedback and we count this as one of the endless amazing relationships we form with so many of you from so many places through the years. Until next time ..

We had just one night there, not easy to find because of similar names on the road. At the moment we arrived a bit early , the room was not ready, we really needed a swim, but the pool was dirty and small not inviting. We got our luggage into the room( which was large), drove
