Reading other reviews I was somewhat concerned. Yes the room was small but had all amenities you would expect fo a 4 star hotel. And enough space for all our clothes and suitcases. Pool environment was very nice and pool water at 30 degrees temperature for a relaxed swim after a day of sighseeing. Breakfast was fine for 15.90 euros. Personnel was kind and helpful. The location is good for visiting various sites around in Cote d Azur. Grasse though was not what we expected it to be. But there are other places worth visiting in less than an hour travelling time. Menton, Monaco, Nice, Villefranche sur mer, Mougins, Valbonne, Cannes....and more.

Great location. The staff were very welcoming- were able to speak English as we have very limited French.
We had issues with our toilet so they quickly moved us to another room with no issues.
Only problem was breakfast for the first morning was very limited as there was a big group of push bike riders that ate the place dry. We waited an hour to see if they would replenish the food but sadly nothing. Also other guests arriving for breakfast also missed out.
Second morning there were no problems with breakfast.
Pool was very relaxing after a hot day walking around Grasse.
Highly recommend staying here

Stayed here on Saturday night and booked last minute. Hotel is very quiet in January with no restaurant opened. The staff were very welcoming and really made us feel comfortable. We were able to check out a few hours later which was very helpful. Only issue we had was the internet on the tv in our room not working.

Pleasant stay with a nice breakfast buffet. The restaurant is not operational at the moment but there is a pizzeria opposite the hotel.
Staff is friendly and co-operative.
The hotel is clean overall and has a lovely view from the rooms.

An excellent hotel a few minutes' drive from the center of the old town of Grasse. There is parking, a pool and a gym. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Good breakfast and very kind service from the reception staff.

We spent four night in this hotel in August. The room and staff were very pleasant but the catering left much to be desired. The hotel is some way out of Grasse so, their inability to provide any food apart from breakfast meant another drive after a tiring day. Although not explained to you upon arrival there are two prices for breakfast an 'express breakfast' for 8 euros and 15 euros for full breakfast. We had our usual continental breakfast coffee, fruit and two very small croissants each day. When we got our bill we were surprised to see that we had been charged 15 euros each for each day of our stay. As we were leaving at 5.30am to catch an early flight and the night porter was obviously new to the job, we agreed to pay and take it up with the management, which we have now done. Their answer to us was that if we wanted the 'express breakfast' we should have asked the reception who would then have served us a coffee and some bread in the bar .As the bar which we walked through each day to the breakfast room was always empty, I assume that other guests had made the same mistake as us. So beware anything taken in the breakfast room incurs a charge of 15 euros. If we had been staying for one night we might not have noticed, but as we were there for four we were charged an extra 55 euros, which the management refuse to refund. We travel in France a lot and have never heard of this before, we shall certainly be giving Best Western a miss in future.

I stayed one night during a business trip and had the impression I was in the corridor all the time. No sound insulation whatsoever! The room was fairly clean but the price was not cheap for what it was. I wouldn't recommend it. At least the wifi was free of charge.

The only reason I can see why you would want to stay here is that you have a meeting at the hotel and you need to stay overnight, during the week and not at weekends. Otherwise there are just too many reasons not to.

Firstly one needs to be aware that this hotel is over 2 kms from the centre of town so should have all the catering facilities for their guests. They do but not every day. Clearly a management decision, but not a very bright one.

It did not start great with reception being with a very nervous trainee. Next we were told that the restaurant that evening would be a barbeque outside...not what we wanted. We did get a table indoor with a non-barbeque menu but this was a very limited selection, but what we did get was very good. It gets worse when the following night there is no restaurant available at all with a suggestion that a local pizzeria should be adequate....we are not in France to eat Italian food and a pizzeria is not a restaurant is my view. Another questionable management decision.

The room was small and badly appointed. There are no drawers for clothes and only one small wardrobe, part of which is occupied by the safe. There is a high top shelf but you would need to be over 7' tall to be able to see into it. Clearly they don't expect people to stay for long.

Breakfast was a buffet affair but there was no muesli and a generally poor choice of cereals unless you like cornflakes....there were 2 choices for this!

Next we had the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. This sounded in the public areas but not in the room and if we had been awoken by other means we would not have heard it. The reason we were awoken was because of a thunder and lightning storm and initially thought we could hear a car alarm in the distance. There was no indication within the room that there was an emergency. Curiosity took us into the corridor and only then did we realise that there was a fire alarm. Having evacuated to the reception area we joined the huge throng of people wondering what was going on. There was no one to ask! No sign of any staff and nobody managing the situation. Some poor girls had gone out into the storm risking their lives with the lightning and were soaked and looked very miserable. The alarm just ceased. No explanation. No "all clear". No manager Nothing. No apology 6 hours later at check out.

The explanation we got some days later was that the receptionist was away from the desk investigating the alarm. I wonder where the manager was? Is there a manager at this hotel at all and if so why are they not taking responsibility.

I see very little evidence of competent management at this hotel. The whole thing needs a rethink.

Very comfortable beds and very clean. I recommend it. Receptionists are very helpful and sweet.

Only I don't recommend the breakfast. First of all it was not included in the price. Second it was tasteless and had nothing good to offer. Being in France the grocery should be tasteful but here they had everything from cans and it was horrible. Even croissants were horrible....which is ironic being in France and all.
