Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We've been lucky enough to stay in some amazing places around the world, but in terms of overall experience and relaxation, Chantal and her wonderful B&B take some serious beating. The room is excellent. Comfortable bed, TV, air con and the en-suite immaculately clean and modern. The room is also wonderfully decorated and light having windows on two sides, but well thought out in this respect with curtains arranged to prevent you waking up too early with the sun peeking in! As many have mentioned, the breakfasts were incredible. Different each day, some lovely home touches, and a new place setting every time! Horus the Golden Retriever joined us for breakfast every day, and was great fun to have around. Chantal makes a huge effort with the breakfast experience, and it's both plentiful and delicious. If you have a car, parking is easy and free outside the B&B, which given everywhere in Frejus itself near the beach, old town or port you have to pay for (unless you're lucky!) is a bonus. All three places are within walking distance of the B&B if you don't mind a stroll, or you can use the bikes provided. We were sad to leave, but overjoyed to have found such a wonderful place to hopefully return to.

The Parfum D'Azur was seriously the best place we have ever stayed. The room was spacey and clean, air-conditioned with a mini fridge and a separate entrance. Chantal, the host, was friendly, welcoming and informative. The breakfasts were fantastic, home made yogurt, brioche and jams, something different every day all served on the terrace in the sunshine. Our welcoming party, Horus the Golden Retriever, was a treat every day. There are also bikes to use which make the dash to the beach super quick. I can't recommend this place enough, you'll never want to leave!

Chantal is an amazing host and very welcoming. The accommodation was perfect, very comfortable and easy to walk to from the station. The use of the bikes was a lovely way to get around, very short cycle to Frejus old town and the beach and coast was a lovely and scenic cycle too. We stayed for 3 nights and were spoiled with a delicious breakfast each morning and Chantal provided us with some excellent recommendations for both sights and restaurants. A truly unique experience that we will never forget and have already recommended to friends. Thank you to Chantal for being such an attentive host!

I just can't get enough and find the words after my recent stay in PdA. We've only stayed for 4 nights and boy, whaht a mistake - I would make this a 2 weeks vacation in a second! (if I could). Chantal is running this b&b in a style and really does an extra step! You see how she enjoys this and that it's not just a job for her. Location might be little tricky as it's approximately 20 mins walking from the beach but you can rent a bike (we get 2 bikes for free every day) and you are at the beach in 6-7 minutes. Local shopping mall is only 5 minutes by walk (on a way to or from the beach) and you can reach the historic center in 10 minutes by walk. The street is very quiet with mainly private houses with almost no turists - perfect! This is actually a house of the owner and there is just one room for guests so you would be the only one staying here, together with the family. There is your own entrance to the house and room which is not used by owners. Moreover, you can even park your car in front of their garage if there is no space for parking - we have stayed during high season and thanks to the location, it was not even a problem to park on the street. Room might have been little bigger but it's absolutely enough because you can use the terrace with 2 sunbeds and own table anytime. Room was superclean and the service is great. Toilet is not together with the bathroom (great) and the shower had to been recently updated because you can't find this type with rain shower and massage heads even in 5* hotels. Wifi is included and very fast. Breakfast is another chapter, you simply can't get enough! We stayed 4 nights and it was different every morning. Fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, wide selection of tea, 5 different home made (from Chantal's sister) marmelades, bread, enough fruit, sometimes even crepes... shame on all the expensive hotels who give you "continental breakfasts" and charge you 150 EUR+ for one night! Chantal even gives you great tips on trips, events... which only makes you stay great! The free beach which was recommended to us was simply great - they don't rent sun beds but the sand is OK so you don't really care. Good also for disabled and kids. It's free but there is a lifeguard all day so you feel completely comfortable and relaxed. Chantal and the family have one cat and a dog which (during our stay) was still a puppy but you will fell in love with him in a second! All in all, the best b&b I have ever booked and next time I will not only book 4 nights but as many nights as possible - and you bet there WILL be a next time.

We loved our stay with our most charming hosts. They were very kind and helpful and very patient with my very patchy French. The room was airy with lots of light, a cute poster bed and a shower with about eight shower heads. We were served breakfast on our private terrace with homemade jams. We loved their huge dog, Theo, and their little kitty who loved bread. The room had a well working A/C and there was a water cooker and a cooler for the beach. There was a small, free parking lot in the gated driveway, but the road was so quiet, there was no need to be worried about parking the car there. We would be happy to come back and recommend this place to anyone we know!

It is set in a quite street, I walk to the city centre and beach, nice little walk. The room is on the ground floor and the B&B only has one room. So you don't have the sound of others in the next room. It is a large room with heaps of space, the room looks out onto a garden and outdoor area, which is just the best place to start your day with breakfast. Breakfast is casual and Chantel is so helpful with all the visiting sites in the area. I had a great stay. I don't speak French and Chantel spoke very good English. If she or I had a problem not understanding each other. She was the computer to sort it all out.
