It's not your usual B&B/boutique hotel but hey, it certainly worked for us for a seven night visit! Very central location on a chi-chi shopping street not far from the promenade/sea. Up four - or was it five? - flights of stairs (you're forewarned) to three suites. We were in Masai which was a good size with a seating area,... More

Great place, however, there are a few hurdles before you reach your room. If you drive, parking is slightly challenging (there is a public lot at 12 Euro per night about three blocks away), and then, the flights of stairs. This was one night of a two week trip so after schlepping my over-packed bags up the stairs, the beautiful... More

We walked up and down Rue Paradis to find something that looked like a hotel (that was what we expected we had booked) but could not find it. So instead we liked for no 11 and voila! We found a discreet wooden door with, among other names also had Le Dortoir marked. There's no reception. Make sure you get the... More

My wife and I stayed for a week and the B&B (apartment) was superb in every way - I totally recommend this place and the excellent, caring service too. If ever we go back to Nice, this is where we will stay!

Loved Le Dortoir in spite of the climb to get to the room. They clearly advise you that there is not lift. Do not book this property if you can't climb stairs (96 steps). It was well worth the exercise. Great location in Nice - near the coast, near old town, lots of places to eat and shops within a... More

Wow this B and B in the heart of Nice is a real find and help to make our short time in Nice a terrific time. Nice is a beautiful place and Le Dortoir is superbly located right near pace Massena, a great shopping area and more importantly, the old town is so close, a 2 minute walk! The accommodation... The stylishly fashionable rooms at Le Dortoir are spotlessly clean, spacious with a lovely open feel. It boasts the perfect location central to both the old and new town, the promenade, shops and restaurants. The keyless entry (fantastic) and lack of reception (which we loved) were complimented by the staff who were exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. It was noticeably... More

What a beautiful B&B! We had the "Longani" room with a large terrace. Unfortunately, it was so hot we didn't make as good use of it as we had hoped. An umbrella would have helped, we would have loved to take breakfast there each morning. There is a gorgeous, deep claw-foot tub as well as a walk in shower. And... More

This is our second time and it is still fantastic. It is so clean and comfortable. We had The Longani room then a week later The Kayla. Room. The breakfast is served in the hallway and is delicious. Both rooms are beautiful. The Longani has a terrace though which is great. It is close to everything you need. Also very... More

The apartment is luxurious furnished with good taste, air conditioning works very well the same for the wifi conection. The only problems are that they don't have an elevator so we had to carry our luggage four floors and belive me it isn't pleasant at all.The breakfast is continental but poor although you can buy from a market near by and...
