We stayed at the Arome hotel as a couple for New Year 2019/20 for three nights. On arrival, we met Fabio and Fabrice who made us so welcome and then left us with their assistant Barbara who, very helpfully, told us all about Nice and marked items on the map to help familiarise us with the local area. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was pretty much as described on the website and was of a good size.. As with lots of converted properties, the bathroom was quite small but very functional. We liked the Bosch coffee machine and free safe, although the safe is quite small so you wont have room for your Crown Jewels or a laptop in there. We made use of the fridge to cool our beers and prosecco. Wi-fi was good in this room which was nice and quiet and there was good control over the heating/cooling from an in room control panel.
The location of the property was fantastic being a five minute walk from the Tramway and about the same to the Promenade des Anglais. There are plenty of nearby cafes for breakfast and supermarkets are nearby too. A couple of things would have made it even better. Tissues in the room. Hair conditioner in the bathroom and a couple of plates and knives/forks would have been handy for breakfasting in the room. I have since been informed by Fabio that plates etc are available on request.
The best thing about the Arome Hotel however are the owners! Fabio and Fabrice could not have made us feel more welcome. They even put a bottle of Cava and chocolates in the room for us to celebrate New Years Eve.
Would we stay again? Yes.

This was a fine place to stay in relation to convenience, comfort, and quality of service. The hotel is just a few streets back from the promenade, in a quieter commercial and residential location a short walk away from central Nice and the Old Town. Our room was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and pleasantly decorated, with tea and coffee facilities available as well as a small fridge. Indeed the whole hotel has recently been fully refurbished to a high standard. It doesn't do breakfasts, but this wasn't a problem as there were plenty of excellent family run cafe bars locally, and we chose to eat locally in the evenings based on Fabio's helpful recommendations. Overall, he and his staff were most welcoming and and friendly which made for a very special stay. We thoroughly recommend the Arome as a great alternative to the larger hotels for a short break.

The best things about this hotel are the very friendly and helpful owners Fabio and Fabrice and the perfect location for visiting all attractions. Barbra was also very helpful too .
We stayed over New Year’s Eve and they gave us a gift of a bottle of prosecco to celebrate which was a lovely touch .
One negative for us was the lay out of our room as it didn’t have a conventional bathroom , more of a cubby hole with basin and shower to maximise space. The shower was nice and powerful but my husband is tall and found it too small . My brother and sister in law were staying in a room of the same rate but it was more spacious with a separate bathroom .
I would stay here again but in a bigger room .
I didn’t miss not having a breakfast room as there are lots of nice boulangeries / patisseries around and also a good supermarket round the corner .

My one-week vacation in Côte d’Azur wouldn’t have been so lovely if it hadn’t been for the two owners of this small, yet so elegant and chic hotel in the heart of Nice. Fabio and Fabrice went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and impressed me with their genuine kindness, hospitality and attention to details!

The room, yet small, was wonderfully appointed and spotlessly clean! I enjoyed the background music from the reception (especially the classical music) and the beautiful furniture which gave a special, exquisite touch to the overall atmosphere of the hotel.

The location of the hotel makes it the perfect stay as well, being very close to the main attraction spots (Promenade des Anglais, Place Massena) and within walking distance from the Nice central station and Alsace Lorraine tram station which takes you to the airport.

I honestly couldn’t have found a better hotel in Nice and I would warmly recommend it to anyone appreciating quality and tranquility.

Thank you, Fabio and Fabrice for all your help and guidance! Vous êtes vraiment deux personnes extraordinaires! Looking forward to returning to Nice in the near future! 😊

We stayed in room 9 for 4 nights and the room was lovely. It had fridge, coffee machine, kettle, fantastic shower and great air con.
A lovely touch was the fresh croissant hanging on the door handle each morning when we woke up. A great complimentary gift to everyone from the management team.
The location of the hotel is perfect making everything easily accessible by foot or tram. The nearest tram stop is 5 mins walk, this is also a direct link to the airport in about 30 mins.
Nothing was to much trouble for Fabio and his team. Fabio is very knowledgeable about the local area, our very own tour guide! :-)
We had a 2 year delay on our trip due to Covid travel restrictions, Fabio could not have been more helpful. Thank you so much for your help...third time lucky and we actually made it to Nice.
We also had a last minute flight change and needed to stay an extra night, a quick room change (switched to room 5) for the last night, once again Fabio and the team made this so easy by switching our belongings to the new room whilst we were out for the day.
I cannot recommend staying at this hotel enough...just book it!

I have recently stayed in Nice for a week and 5 nights I spent in Arome Hotel. I could not have made a better choice! The hotel is at an excellent location just about two blocks from the Promenade des Anglais, the most beautiful part of the city. All shops and restaurants are close by and since the tram stop is just a few minutes walk away, both the airport and the port are very easily accessible, as well as the main shopping street and the beach. Now regarding the hotel because this was my first time ever on the French Riviera this is a cozy hotel with a very nice atmosphere, and the rooms are well equipped with fridge, water heater, coffee maker, everything you need. The complimentary croissant and coffee is such a nice idea every morning, thank you for that! Room was perfect size and with comfortable furniture, the only thing is that next time I would opt for a single room with a somewhat bigger bed but this was OK too. The service was perfect - both the owners and the hotel staff was very helpful and attentive. Unfortunately I only met Fabio on the last day but he is a wonderful host, helped me with my program on the day of my departure and not to mention that he helped me with my luggage because they have no elevator, which was fine just keep that in mind. Barbara gave me excellent trips for getting around and booked a beautiful boat trip for me. The night receptionists, Simon and Daniel were also very attentive and helpful, so thanks for all the hotel staff for a wonderful stay, you made it special!

The title says it all really. Every member of staff is exceptionally warm and helpful. They're determined to make your stay in Nice amazing from the moment you step inside the front door, giving you all the information you need to enjoy your time in Nice.
The location of the hotel is great, just a couple of blocks from the Promenade in one direction and the tram to the airport in the other direction.
There was some work being done on Rue de la Buffa while I stayed there but it never interfered with resting/sleeping hours. It was easy to get around the neighborhood which has some restaurants to get a quick bite and a grocery store on the next block.
My single room was quite comfortable and efficiently furnished. Every morning, a fresh croissant was delivered to the room, which is a great way to wake up!
My only complaint is that the reed diffuser/sticks on every floor hallway have a strong scent that can be overwhelming at times and get into the room. Something to keep in mind for those travelers who are scent-sensitive.

Arome Hôtel is a lovely boutique hotel which is well located but on a quiet street. The price is more than reasonable and Fabio was more than helpful in making dinner reservations for us and letting us check in early. The room we had was on the small side but it had everything we needed including a table and two chairs and a small refrigerator. We opted for the breakfast program and we were happy with the selection and the quality of the breakfast. We also had a small coffee maker and tea pot. We were only two blocks from the sea and the boardwalk as well as the tram stop from the airport. Fabio gave us great directions for using the tram and it was only 1.5 Euro apiece. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Nice. It is not the Hyatt but it is quaint and clean and the service from Fabio made it feel like we were staying with a friend.,

Me and and my girlfriend arrived in Nice late night and we were surprised to see Fabio (the owner) expecting us to greet us. As you’ve seen from all the reviews, we can’t help but reiterate everyone’s comments on how great the staff was. We mainly interacted with Fabio and we couldn’t help but feel like he treated us like he would treat a family member or close friend. From providing guidance on things to visit and see in Nice, to checking up even before we arrived with tips on how to get around to the hotel. The attention to detail is what makes this hotel great. The room was clean, and had everything we needed. We were on the top floor so it was a few flights to get there, but nothing we couldn’t handle - they will help you get your luggage up to your room. Like many of the hotels in Nice, they’ve been there a long time so not every hotel has the luxury of having an elevator. Many of the buildings were built decades ago so keep that in mind when staying in Nice, if you need access to an elevator. Every morning we were greeted with a nice treat at our doorstep so that was a nice touch. The location is great as you are literally 2 blocks away from the Promenade de Anglais, with lots to eat around and close to the underground train station. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Nice. Thank you to Fabio and his great staff for the hospitality!

I rarely write reviews but felt that I had to for this hotel. First of all I would just like to thank the staff at the hotel for making my stay so enjoyable. After many delayed flights I finally made it to the hotel only to be greeted by Fabio. He immediately made me feel happy. I even noticed when I landed that he had sent me several emails asking me if everything was okay and if he could do anything for me as I hadn’t arrived yet :) He then sat down with me and gave me some suggestions on what I should see in Nice. The hotel itself is in a fabulous location. About a 4 minute walk to the Metro which can take you to the airport and about a 4 minute walk to the Promenade Anglais (The Beach) It’s clean and quiet and the staff is so kind and I feel really make you feel welcome. As I was arriving a previous guest was even dropping off a gift to Fabio because that’s how nice he is.
I loved my stay in Nice so much and would definitely stay at this hotel again :)
