We stayed for 3 nights in a three-bedroom and were very happy with the location( walking distance to the beach, 8 min away from the train station, and shops) not loud at all. Staff very attentive and the room well furnished. Will definetely stay again next time I go. Thank you.

We stayed at Villa Victoria for 4 nights at the beginning of October, when the weather was gorgeous and the summer crowds had gone. We were charmed from the start by the welcoming staff, and our room on the 2nd floor (3rd floor if you are American) overlooked the lovely rear garden, so was nice and quiet, and extremely comfortable for two fairly tall and large people with a lot of luggage. The location of the hotel is also excellent, with many restaurants in any direction, and easy walking distance to the old town or the Promenade des Anglais. We had breakfast at the hotel a couple of times and there’s nothing wrong with it but we did find a little cafe around the corner which did lovely fresh omelettes and juices that we preferred. We would absolutely stay here again and have recommended it to our travel agent.

This is a really nice hotel, and as per the other reviews, the garden is a really nice feature, especially when having breakfast. The room ticked all the boxes, bathroom was nice, and we slept really well. My only two things to improve - the hotel has five parking spaces, therefore it is likely you will need to park elsewhere, i went for Mozart car park which is 26 euros for 24 hours, the chap on reception could not recommend us a car park therefore i relied on google to suggest. Secondly, the hotel whilst being in a fantastic location and with excellent facilities, lacks a bit of atmosphere or soul - i couldn't quite put my finger on it but it felt there was something missing, which is why i've given it four rather than five.

Every good review of this hotel was right. A fabulously clean and welcoming hotel. My first trip abroad for 20 years, so although slightly more expensive than some others, it was worth it . The room was lovely and big (ground floor facing garden), and no noise from any other residents. Comfortable bed , big bathroom. We paid for the breakfast, which was a big selection of cold food, hot bacon / scrambled eggs, and fruit , cereals.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was our 25th wedding anniversary, and they left is a bottle of wine in the room especially, which was a nice touch.

The hotel is in a nice , quiet area, but just 10 minutes walk to the main train station, tram lines and the beach front. You can get the tram directly to the airport. You can leave your luggage there on the first and last day, till your ready to go.
We would definitely stop there again.

Staff were lovely, great location. Reception looked good and garden lovely too. I did like that towels were only replaced when you asked for them to be replaced. Lots of hotels say this and replace them anyway. We also had complimentary bottles of water every day. Bedroom was very tired looking and overall not very well maintained, the things that needed sorting wouldn’t take much effort so unsure why they weren’t attended to - see pictures. The bed throw was left where we put it on the first evening. No coffee pods in room, we had to ask for them on day 2. We had a couple of items out of the mini bar that were never replenished. Probably wouldn’t return.

Stayed here for the Monaco F1. Great location to all the restaurants & bars. Clean room, staff were very nice and helpful. Perfect hotel for a short break. Nice garden area, the breakfast was a Buffett as was 17 Euros we never had the breakfast as we felt you could get better value from one of the near by coffee shops.

We've stayed as a couple for a week at this beautiful hotel and every day returning in the evening it was like coming home . We are always staying on Rue Victor Hugo and we've chosen this hotel mainly for the quiet location , interior garden where you can take breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere but also for the good location close to the Promenade des Anglais / beach and Vieux Nice . Rooms were spacious and clean , bed was confortable . Bathroom was very nice also and clean - free amenities were provided . Room had balcony with city view and that was a plus for us . Breakfast had variation and it was good . Thumbs up for the team at the breakfast area and also the team from reception / front desk . Thank you,

Such a cozy hotel in an excellent location! The area felt very safe and quiet even though located within 5 to 15min walk from basically everywhere (tram, train, beach, a huge variety of good restaurants). The hotel itself was very neat and clean and staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was comfy and even on the street side pretty quiet. Some parts of it however were a little worn out and in a need of new paint, lamp was broken and wall to wall carpet looked shabby. Not luxurious but good enough.

What we loved the most was the beautiful indoor garden where we enjoyed breakfast every sunny morning. Breakfast itself was also lovely and high-quality with good variety of breads, bacon and scrambled eggs, yoghurt and fruits and sweet items.

I could definitely stay in this hotel again if I ever return back to Nice!

We stayed for 3 nights in February, it was very reasonably priced. We had a standard double room which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel had a small bar and lovely garden. I imagine in the summer the garden would be a lovely place to relax. The location of the hotel was ideal, just 10 minutes walk from the seafront promenade. Thank you so much to Dorian who went above and beyond during our stay. If we return to Nice we would definitely stay here.

We spent one night at the Villa Victoria at the end of March. Initially we were looking for a budget hotel as it was only for one night but after reading all the favourable reviews we decided to treat ourselves and stay there. How disappointed were we!!! For nearly 200 euros we were greeted by a room that was so small that instead have having doors on the wardrobe there was only a curtain, we actually felt claustrophobic! The hotel was half empty so I feel some effort could have been made to allocate us a bigger room. To top it off the breakfast was poor..all laid out well in advance and no staff around. I've never written a review like this before and hope I never have to again!

The hotel Villa Victoria offers a great continental breakfast. However, I would check with Mon Petit Café in Nice on Rue Grimaldi off of Rue Victor Hugo to see if they are doing the Christmas thing. If they are, you cannot go wrong.
