The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean. The room, while not overly large, was well organized and, with our large balcony, we could sit outside and enjoy the pleasant evening. The breakfast offered the usual fruits, croissants, chocolatine, four varieties of cheese, yogourt, but also scrambled eggs and bacon and ham. We were an easy walking distance to old Nice and really close to a tramway stop. We were also a 15 minute walk to gare Riquier where we could hop on a short train ride to go to Villefranche sur Mer or Monaco and further down the coast towards Italy. The bed was comfy, the room quiet, and nice and dark. We would definitely come back here.

Had a most delightful stay here. The staff were very accommodating and always willing to share their knowledge of what’s in the area and what to see in Nice. Our week just seemed to pass by to quickly. Each morning a great breakfast was provided offering both hot and cold and sweet and savory. Even when you came back in the afternoon the coffee machine was on and ready to make a cup. They had their own bar for an afternoon cocktail or night cap. To enjoy in the lounge or on tables on the fringes walk. This is not a Five Star hotel, but with service they provide at being a family run hotel they deserve the five stars I gave them. Everything clean and well maintained. The accommodations varied from room to room as the bathrooms were different. From what I noticed we had the most awkward shower. The hotel is close the a tram stop and 10 minutes to the train going to Monaco. Shops and restaurants are in the area, or your just a 15 minute walk to the Garibaldi area. But do ask the staff for recommendations for restaurants and you’ll find something different. Can’t say enough about here. We felt like family when we departed.

After a series of KLM flight cancellations from Turin, we ended up getting flights from Nice.
We found this Hotel by accident, as we just needed a place to stay for the night.
It has a fabulous location, 1 min. walk from a Tram stop and 5 mins walk from Tram line 2, with direct services to the Airport.
A small hotel over 5 floors, with a small restaurant.
Both Reception and Restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Room was large, clean and had a very comfortable Bed. As we were at the rear of the hotel, it was very quiet and we both slept very well.
The only gripe, was the cost of Breakfast. At 12 Euro each, it was extortionate, considering the choice of food available. You are far better off going to one of the numerous Bakeries/Cafes, just around the corner.
Hotel was exceptional value at 85 Euro prpn, considering the location.

We stayed in a twin room on the first floor but there was no street noise. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast looked lovely although we did not require it. I would definitely take it next time. All staff were very helpful and could not have been nicer. The hotel is well situated with Riquier station just a few blocks away giving access along the coast and the tram stop is just around the corner for access to the airport. I will definitely stay in this hotel again

We just spent 3 nights at this small hotel. Rooms are fairly small but we could fit 2 adults with luggage into our nice and clean room.
The staff is very friendly and serviceminded.
Located close to Place Garibaldi, the old Nice and the port it’s a perfect place for a small get-away 😋

The rooms are basic but clean. The shower was poor, no pressure and needs to be improved. The breakfast is not worth the €12, I’d recommend going elsewhere.
The location is perfect, minutes from transport links and walking distance to all the restaurants and attractions Nice has to offer. The young man on reception is worth his weight in gold. He went out of his way to ensure we had a good break, he recommended where to go and helped us explore the wider area. The location and staff make this hotel worth the visit.

Whilst this is not the glitziest hotel it is by far the friendliest! For us visiting a city is having a clean bed, good service and nice food. Esprit ticks all of these boxes. The rooms are small but immaculately clean with everything you need. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they genuinely care about their guests.
Breakfast is delicious and so reasonable - and again the dining area is kept so very clean.
Highly recommend you visit if like us you are exploring the city and surrounding areas. Easy access to trains, buses and trams - We used the tram L2 to Gariboldi Square then walked to hotel from airport (approx 10 mins) but you can jump on L1.
82 and 602 bus to Eze - 600 Bus to Monaco (sit on Right if you can) and we got the train to Cannes. Reception will provide all details though.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel is so central, turn right out of the hotel walk about 7 mins and you are at the bus and train station. Train station is Nice Riquier, small and the staff were very helpful.. can walk to old town and port/marina.
Paid extra for small suite, very comfortable new and clean. Balcony was fab esp as weather glorious.
Only complaint if being picky no fridge, safe broken and only given coffee as welcome drink..

Have stayed here previously on 2 occasions.
Just several minutes walk to the Port and/or Old Town.
Very friendly staff and an exceptional location, minutes from public transport links to the Airport.
Once again, did not have Breakfast there, as 12 EURO pp, was very expensive, considering the numerous eateries just around the corner.
Would definitely stay there again, though.

We, a group, stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. This is one of the nicest 3 star hotels I have ever stayed in. Perfect location to explore city. Easy access from the airport with a tram line . 700 meters from Riquier train station, so easy access to Monaco, Cannes, Willefrance-sur-Mer. Quentin and other staff helped with useful information to explore Nice and different surrounding places. Near to grocery stores. Excellent service, they clean rooms every day. In our room we had a big balcony with a table and two chairs. Fabulous breakfast. Before booking this hotel I have read reviews and in one it was said: "If you are looking for the best 3 star hotel in Nice then it is not necessary to go further. This is the place". Now I can share this feeling.

Hi could you advise how to get from airport using public transport ?
Answer from Belinda S
Prague, Czech Republic387 contributions2,222 helpful votes
I hope I'm not late with this. If you don't have 80 euros to blow on a taxi ride, buy a single ticket for less than 3 euros. Get on tram 2 from the airport then change to tram 1 and alight at Acropolis. This stop is 1min away from the hotel entrance.

Dear Mister Ihaddad53, You can park for free in every streets of Nice from 8h00 pm until 9h00 am the next morning (and it's free all day every sundays sundays). All our district is really safe, we are located in the city center. We have our own parking service (it costs 12€ per night). Our slots are located in a private area of a big public parking (closed and with video surveillance of course). The parking is open 24h/24 and located 250m from our reception. We have a limited number of slots so we always recommand to book in advance. We have temporary parking spaces right in front of our reception. We ask to our guests to first stop at our reception where we provide a badge and all information required. Also, this organisation allows our guest to settle in room and drop the luggages before bringing the car to the car park. We stay at your disposal, Best regards, Quentin

Dear lvboatman, We organize individual transfer on request. It costs 40€ and a driver wait for you at the airport. You can also take a taxi (for more or less the same rate) or uber (usualy cheaper). Or you can use the bus 98 and the tramway (6€ in total) which will drop you right next to our hotel. Best regards, Quentin
