We originally booked to stay here in July 20 as my husband was supposed to be doing the Etape du Tour. Due to Covid-19 we had to postpone twice and Sabrina was very helpful in arranging this.

We stayed for three nights in a superior room which is double the space of a standard room. A standard room would be very small, but the superior had more than enough space. The room was very clean and had shower gel and a hairdryer provided. There was also a safe. desk, wardrobe space and a sofa. There was no Do Not Disturb sign and no Instructions/Bar Menu in the room like normal, but maybe these were removed due to Covid. We were on the 8th floor and it was very quiet despite being next to the station.

Breakfast was ok, it was mainly pastries, cereals and ham/cheese. No hot food, though you could boil your own egg. There was tea and coffee as well. There is a bar available for dinner but it didn't seem to have much choice.

The location was good for the station as it was right next door, but the hotel was a 15-20 minute walk from the beach/town. We had to walk down towards the main part of town to eat as there didn't seem to be many places open nearby (not sure if this is normal or Covid related). You can also take the tram as well if you don't want to walk.

Overall, we had a good stay. Staff were all helpful and Covid precautions were in place.

As others have stated the hotel is dated and could do with a refurb, standard rooms are small and as is the bathroom but manageable although more storage space would help keep the place tidy. We chose this hotel for it's location to the train station and for the pool and we were not disappointed, the pool is nice and has ample sun loungers, lovely to cool down after sightseeing. The hotel is right next to the train station, easy to get to Monaco, Eze and Villefrance sur Mer all highly recommended and Antibes and Cannes in the other direction. It's a 5 min walk to tram stops and 10-15 to seafront and the lovely old town, bakery, shops are nearby and 10 mins walk to Lidl. Would recommend if you don't mind dated decor, staff were very nice.

The hotel is being reovated, the room I had was newly renovated, new bathroom, tiny but ok for one person. The electical system cuts the electricity in the wall sockets so if you switch the lights off, you cannot charge phone etc while you eat breakfast. The rooms are small, ok for one, but difficult if two persons, unless they share a small suitcase. The hotel has ambitious eco plans and wants to be zero plastic. This means that there are paper cups (with only a little plasic in, to make them waterproof). There is no dustbin liner, only a small dustbin in the bathroom. So, either be aware of what you throw in the bin, or bring your own paper bag for rubbish. I used a paper bag from the chemist for my rubbish, apple core etc. the bag was not removed from the room. Reception advises to use the bin provided for all rubbish, includung banana peel and apple cores.
Breakfast is adequate, coffe, fruit, bacon, bread and French croissants. Eggs can be boiled in the immersion heater, however there may be a shortage of baskets used for immersion, and there may be no egg cups.
The area is close to the tram and rhe railway station, for both good and bad. There are several asian eateries in the area and a good convenience store 30 metres from the hotel. You need your hotel card to access the lavatories in the communal area and the lifts. There is a garden, sunny in the afternoon, with a pool that opens in May.
This is a budget hotel, basic ameneties available, no frills but clean.

We stayed overnight here - all I can say is that it is TERRIBLE. The room does not look like the photos - it is small and old and it smells. The hallway smells. The bathroom is tiny and only one towel …bed felt old and unclean. We booked online and it came out at £130 but then we got charged £175! The hotel basically sends you a confirmation email without a price and then charge you what they want. It felt like extortion. A hostel would be cleaner and better.

Breakfast grim. Dirty surfaces etc

For this price you can stay somewhere really nice - don’t waste your money here!!

We travelled to Nice in peak of holiday season. We were looking for hotel at convenient location as we were going to be there for 4 nights. We had planned to make this as our base location while we took day trip to cities nearby and for that, this hotel was the best! It was just next to the main train station and only 10 mins walk from the beach.
We reached Nice by noon and got our hotel without any wait. This was very seamless!
Room was very basic with standard bed and bath, but was very neat and tidy. AC worked excellent, we had small windows with view to sea and it was very quiet as we were on highest floor.
Breakfast was also standard, but quality of stuff was nice. from juices to croissant, every thing was fresh. Staff were very polite and sweet.
We could order food at bar and carry it to the room.
On last day we had to leave at 6 in the morning and we could carry our breakfast in takeaway bags provided. This was very convenient.
It was very standard stay full of convenience.
Yet, amidst all the good staff there was one lady at reception who looked like had a bad day. We wanted to take some local sight seeing advice and she in very rude manner said that she can't help. This was first for us ever.
Other than than - it was a god stay.

We spent five nights at the Ibis Nice Centre Gare. The rooms were clean and comfortable but rather small. Breakfasts were fine. The lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms was a frustration and the choice in the bar was limited. There was a mix up with our booking which meant our room keys disabled a day before we were due to leave.

OMG, I can not believe this, we were booked into an unfinished room still had masking tape in the toilet, there was no where to hang anything in the room, there is only on chair between two people. The pool although advertised was not open, dirty, and seem more like a dumping ground.
No tea, or coffee making facilities in the room.

The toilet area was so small my husband who is 6ft 2in knees was touching the wall, could not even fit in the shower.

I believe the only good thing going for this place is that it's next to the station, but there are better hotels in close proximity, so do not stay here.

The m2 of the room and layout was small. Especially the bathroom. Very small, small shower and the towel rail sticks out. My partner whacked her knee on it.
Shower pressure not very good and heat temperamental.
Also damp and waste sewer smell from the bathroom. Blood stains on duvet

We stayed here for 5 nights- postponed from 2020!! The staff were really helpful in rearranging dates. We chose this hotel as we planned to travel by train to Monaco and Cannes so being right next door to the station it was ideal. We had a fabulous stay- room was basic but very comfortable bed and good shower. We also had a great view of the city from the 8th floor! As we enjoyed great weather having the small pool area was fab for a bit of relaxing between trips. It’s a bit of a walk to the old town and promenade but there’s a tram stop that takes you there at the end of the road. Fab breakfast too!! Thanks to all the staff for a lovely stay

Stayed here for 3 nights. Hotels basic but fine for exploring Nice as it was just a base for us and somewhere to sleep!
Hotel right next to the main train station so great for getting to other towns, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes etc etc.
Breakfast included in the price and was good too!
About a 10 minute walk to the Main Street and everything accessible within a 15-20 min walk.
If you are looking for luxury this hotel isn’t for you! But if you want a clean hotel, comfy bed for a budget price then this is your place!

The hotel is right next to the railway station, check if any trains still run then. Uber will set you back around 19€, consider it too.
