Stayed at the suite with huge balcony. Nicely furbished room with awsome view but the bathroom is rather tired and shower wasn't good. Breakfast in the Italian restaurant is fabulous! Very convenient location. Easy to access to everywhere. Train station is 15 mins walk away while the metro is just few steps away!

We received a warm welcome and upgraded accommodation to Executive level as Spire Ambassador members and felt we had made a good decision choosing Holiday Inn Nice for our stay over the Carnival weekend.

The location on Boulevard Victor Hugo is excellent being just a couple of minutes from Airport Tram stop (Jean Medicine) and easy waking distance to the Promenade, Beach, Place Messina, Old Town, Train station, Shops and restaurants.

Thank you Madina, Aygun, Vincenzo and team for your kind attention. We look forward to our next stay.

We stayed three nights at an executive room. With Vincento at the reception desk one feels welcome. We arrived early, but our room was ready which is a big plus. Vincento explained the location of the hotel in regard to shops and sights.

The room is spacious enough and clean. Coffee and tea facilities present. Having a hard plastic containers for toothbrushes was an improvement over those soft plastic or paper ones many other hotels have. The bed was comfortable and wifi fast and there was hardly outside noise. The number of free electrical outlets is limited, so charging four devices took some planning. Housekeeping did a proper job.

Breakfast is fine with fresh fruit, pastries and bread. But there was nothing on offer like a salad, tomatoes or cucumber, ...

The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to the beach, station and sights.

A late checkout was granted, which allowed time for a morning walk.

Would certainly stay here again.

Fabulous location 2 minute walk from tram ( airport to port line) and main shopping street, also less than a 10 minute stroll to an array of bars and restaurants near the seafront. The railway station is approx 15 minutes walk.

The staff are a major asset of this hotel, extremely friendly and helpful.

The disappointing aspects were firstly that the room was very dimly lit and a little tired, and secondly that the inside bar area was practically non existent ( when we asked about getting a drink we were pointed in the direction of a drinks fridge). I felt that the imagery on the hotel website was rather misleading. The breakfast room was very crowded and ran out of certain items during busy periods. Also one of the lifts was permanently out of order resulting in long waits at times.

A wonderful hotel!!!!

Location: In a high-end area, just steps from the boardwalk and the sea, close to restaurants, shops, places of interest, etc.

Room: Very comfortable, large, with a window that opens, beautiful view, large bathroom, closet, etc. Everything clean, comfortable, in excellent condition.

Staff: Very friendly and pleasant, always willing to help with the best disposition.

Parking: There is no parking, but there is a public garage a few meters from the hotel where you can leave your car.

Breakfast: Good breakfast, but the terrace always has pigeons that are very annoying when you want to eat or have something there. I hope they can do something to fix it.

Honeymoon: We went on our honeymoon with my wife and when we arrived the room was not ready (around 11 am) so we came back later (3 pm) and it was ok. However, it was not what I had requested even though I sent (through Expedia) several messages indicating the reason for my trip and my requirements. Fortunately, the person in charge at that time (I don't remember her name, only that it started with M, she was a woman, VERY nice, VERY kind and professional) helped us immediately, changed our room and sent us additional robes and pillows, as well as water. She was very good to us and made us feel very comfortable and happy!

We stayed in room 716 for three nights, and it was overall a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was decent, and included a bidet, but wasn't like the one shown in the pictures (with a window). The breakfast included a good selection of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, breads, pancakes, pastries, potatoes, fresh juices and quite a few other items. Location was excellent, literally minutes away from the tram, and within easy walking distance of the beach and promenade. The hotel staff were quite pleasant. All in all it was everything we would expect of a four star hotel.

Three main reasons for giving it a 4 rating rather than 5:
1. The mattress needs replacing. It sagged heavily on both sides, making for a somewhat uncomfortable sleep.
2. The TV had smart apps (Netflix etc) disabled, and the set up made it very difficult to plug in or use your own USB or Chromecast device. Almost nobody watches aerial TV these days, so hotels need to accommodate the use of smart TV apps and devices.
3. The shower pressure was (deliberately) too weak. I know that many hotels use pressure restrictors for environmental reasons, but this is counterproductive as you simply spend longer in the shower, so end up using the same amount of (or even more) water. Also, shower curtains are rather unhygienic, and it would be better if these were replaced with glass partitions.

Hello , First of all , the location of the hotel is convenient , central and close to : 10 min to place Massena , couple of minutes to tram station Jean Medecin and few blocks away - 10 min walk to Promende des Anglais . Hotel looks modern from outside also I would say the same for reception and breakfast/restaurant area . The room was ok as space , it looks a bit dated and it would be great if cleaning staff can insist more under the beds . Bathroom was clean , thumbs up here , all towels refreshed daily and also galimard amenities replenished daily . Reception staff are friendly and helpfull - thank you guys !! There was a problem with AC unit which it was fixed quite fast . Regarding the breakfast , it was ok and of good quality - I would recomend adding some veggies here , though . Restaurant staff was also helpfull . Overall , I would recommend the hotel . Best regards,

All excellent staff especially Aygun, but all in all they all go the extra mile to make you comfortable and have a enjoyable stay which we did. THANK YOU EVERYONE. The hotel is also well located to get the train to Cannes , Antibes ,Monaco and to and the airport at the cost of € 1.50

This hotel is perfectly located within easy walking distance of the beach, Old Nice, the train station and hundreds of restaurants. On location alone we would book here again. Our one big complaint is that we roasted for the first two nights of our six night stay. When my husband went the complain the next morning, he found out that you have to request to have the air conditioning turned on in your room! The control on your wall does nothing! Not only that, they control the temperature setting at the front desk. If you want it cooler than they set it for, again you have to go and tell them you are still hot and to please lower it some more. My husband works for this company (IHG) and he had never heard of such a thing. Other than that complaint, we enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower had decent water pressure. The hotel provided toiletries and a blow dryer. The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel, but they should be required to inform you at checkin that they don't turn your air on unless you ask!

Our first impressions were the car park next door to the hotel. We parked in a space and the next space had broken glass where a car had been broken into. Not a nice feeling leaving your car there. Worse was to follow. We were accosted by a drunk that had too much on the stairs near the lift. The lift was soaking where someone had used it as a public toilet. It absolutely stunk. All for 28 EUR per night and recommended by the hotel.

Check in was good and friendly. The reception area is bright. The rooms less so. Jaded but adequate. The aircon is very noisy but works.

Breakfast was good and can be taken outside which was good but its a very busy road you are next to so not a peaceful setting.

Its in the city but a good 10 mins walk to the action.

The hotel gives out 'vouchers' to get discounted places on the private beach in Nice. We should have paid 35EUR instead of 47EUR. The beach club they endorsed were simply horrible. They were very rude and told us to get off their beach and denied any affiliation with the hotel.

We were forced to use another club and paid 81 EUR for 2 to sit on a beach. For the privilege we were not aloud to consume our own food or drink either ensuring the club squeeze even more out of you. I reported this to the hotel on arrival back and they just shrugged their shoulders.

Just a bit more on the hotel. I would say it’s not a great hotel for a summer holiday as such but it is very good for a city break type of trip. Very handy and central
