This small personally run hotel is quite a find! Up in the cool hills above the old town with extensive views down to the bay and old town, the hotel provides a sanctuary at the end of a busy day. We stayed for two separate nights (Friday 11th and Friday 18th Sept) before and after 13 nights in Haute Provence....

We stayed 3N and our friends 1N. Check-in staff were unhelpful to the point of being rude - couldn't recommend a restaurant nearby, or where we might watch Rugby World Cup games live. Staff were unpleasant to our friends about not leaving their key at reception when in fact they had; no apology was forthcoming. The manager seemed ineffectual. Room...

What I will remember about this hotel is a picturesque view from our small balcony, with glass-doors open wide throughout the night and fresh calm sea air going inside. It was a pleasant stay! Thank you! We would definitely come back here!

This is a wonderful small hotel. In a lovely, quiet neighborhood just a short (steep) walk from everything we wanted to do in Nice. We had a room with a terrace, and it was well worth the cost of the upgrade. The room isn't fancy, but it's clean and sizeable; the bathroom was updated; and the view from the terrace...

This is a converted "Palais" in a residential area of Nice, which is up the hill and convenient for the old town, Chagall and Matisse museums, and restaurants, provided you don't ind walking. We found the staff very helpful , and had a nice room with a stunning view over the town and bay. Don't go for breakfast unless you...

This hotel had a very french feel to it from the architecture to the staff. Room service was really good, you're tempted to order in at the end of the day as the climb up and down the hill can be daunting. Taxis are a bit difficult to find in Nice, and expensive too. So the only down side to...

We booked a triple room (which was actually a great size for 2 people as well.) We had a small terrace with a view of the Mediterranean, which although far away, was super lovely. I prefer the location of this hotel... in the 'bas' (not very high up) section of Cimiez as it is super quiet as opposed to the...

The building is pretty but very old. Rooms and furnitures are in bad conditions. The service is poor and staff unfriendly. Far away from everything on the top of a hill. The pool is extremely small, not possible to swim. Definitely not value for money... There are much better places in Cannes.

A small hotel located in a residence area. No restaurants, shopping nearby and its a long walk to the sea. It can be hard to find a taxi so you should be a good walker to have a nice stay. The pool its very small.

We walked with our luggage from the old town to get to the hotel, a little ambitious but do-able if you are feeling fit. The walk takes about 20 minutes and a lot of it is uphill so bear this in mind when booking if you prefer a central base. The best bits about the hotel are definitely to view,...
