Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is a good solid hotel right in the centre of Nice, in a pedestrianized area filled with restaurants and shops, close to Old Town, the beach, and about a 15 minute walk from the main train station. The hotel is clean, comfortable beds, good AC, easy to access, and happy to keep your luggage after check out if you still want to do some exploring. There is no breakfast provided, but there is a kitchen and storage should you want to make your own, also there is a lovely coffee machine with options like cappucino and cafe au lait. I thought it was great value for money and would definitely recommend it if you prioritize location and price.

Loved the location of this hotel. The kitchen was such a good option for us as we went to the supermarket around the corner and stocked up on breakfast and lunch items so we could eat in the go. The free coffee machine was a nice touch. Our room was clean and bed comfy, our room was above the main street the chatting was muffled at night but it was easy to get to sleep as the noise didn't bother us. Angela on reception was helpful when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again.

Received email with code for main door and room few doors before.
Arrived at hotel late at night. The street outside was still buzzing with people eating and drinking. Keypad opened the door, no reception , lift to 3rd floor, code opened my door. Aircon was on so very cold, which was nice.
1st impression of room was needs an update as it was like a grandma's bedroom, with very old furniture and decor. Don't get me wrong the room was spotlessly clean and bed was comfy and huge.Towels changed every 3 days. I was here for 5. Overlooking the main street can be noisy, but I still slept well.
Communal kitchen with 4 separate hobs to use if your on a budget. Free coffee machine which tasted OK.
Staff I met were friendly. Had a problem of a non flushing toilet, he got onto maintenance and was fixed by the time we returned.
Ideally located for anything in Nice, 10mins to train and beach, trams 1 minute. If going to football stadium, use Tram 3. Restaurants and bars right outside
Overall had a great time visiting Nice and the Share Inn. I would recommend and definitely stay again if I was to visit again

Great location.
I like the share in because you have a neat kitchen with your own chilled locker.
It works because it is kept clean and sparkly by two hard working little cleaners.
The free coffee machine is a real bonus.
It's a great place, will return.

This was my second stay at this hotel, the first being several years ago. I was in Nice visiting friends. I really like this hotel. A very central location, handy for everything. The room was good, and bed comfortable. I like the open kitchen arrangements, where you can use the kitchen facilities for cooking etc, and even have the use of your own personal fridge. And all at a reasonable price. Definitely recommended.

If your rooms face the street, that can and will be very loud. When we were there a disco across the street blasted music until 1:30AM. Staff are indifferent at best, bordering on rude. The location is right in the middle of all of the restaurants and bars and only two blocks to the beach. The maid service is intermittent.

This was a real culture shock having just stayed in 5* hotels for 8 nights but a really practical way to holiday. We’ve never come across it before. Great to cook your own food and lunches on the induction hobs and great cool drawers to keep your food fresh. No keys though. Spotlessly clean throughout and very friendly staff and good communication as to how to get in on your first night if reception is closed. I’d definitely stay again. We used this as an add on to a very expensive 2 weeks in Italy.

Great value in good location, comfy beds, kitchen facilities and coffee machine … highly recommend and would return if staying in Nice. No food or bar but reception available during day and very helpful. Easy access to beach, Old Town and museums.

I found it quite easy to find the hotel from the tram station and the self check-in easy to do. The location was ideal for sightseeing and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. I really liked the coffee machine which was free to use at any time of the day!

I would think so, however there is not always someone at the front desk.

Hi there, hope you are well. I looked up this hotel and I do indeed see that “Share Inn” matches the address as photos of the lobby, rooms on a website are the same However when I check booking websites, Hotel Regence is the name stated. At the end of the day, it does not matter too much if the hotel changes name if you book with TripAdvisor or Bookingcom for example, as I have stayed in hotels with names changes in the past without any issue. Do take care when thinking about booking given the current situation surrounding COVID-19 Jack

YEs there is a lift/elevator. If you look at the hotel's own website it will give you all the information you need.

You should contact the hotel directly for this information, they will give honest advice. It may not be the best place to stay if you have a car. It is in a pedestrian area so it is likely you may need to leave the car quite some distance away from the hotel.
