I had a nice stay at Hotel Oasis. The hotel on the outside is super pretty with a very picturesque garden and driveway. The fact that the hotel has such a history makes it even more special. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was also very quiet :)

However, I would say that it was a bit overpriced for what I got - I paid EUR 110.- per night staying not at the weekend when the price online was showing less - so I felt I little tricked by the price as it was specified to me by the hotel staff before my arrival. The room was small as well as the bathroom, I had to stand outside the shower to wash my hair as other wise would not fit (and I have a petite complexion). I feel like there are bigger rooms for the same price so it did not feel very fair. The photos on the website are not the same as the room I got. For one person the size is enough.

The hotel is about 13 minute walk from the beach and if you take the right street. It is not too far from train station but far enough for it to feel safe. They kindly kept my bags before and after checkin.

Overall I do recommend staying here but maybe check the price/room ratio beforehand.

My wife and I have recently returned from a trip to Nice, where we stayed at the Oasis.

We were very pleased with this small hotel which represented excellent value for money.

The proprietors are Scottish and could not be more friendly or helpful.
Tariff is B&B with a continental breakfast which can be taken outside if required.
Our room was small but modern with TV,hairdryer,AirConditioning,Fridge and balcony overlooking the courtyard. It is peaceful despite the adjacent housing.

We'll be back!

We had a lovely time at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and we found it a very good base to see Nice from. We had breakfast in the lovely garden every morning, were left to our own devises all through the day (no chambermaids banging on the door, to chase you out of your room!) The hotel also advised us of a mini bus service that they arranged to take a group of the guests all on the same flight to the airport which was very helpful. Even though we booked a small double room, we found this size of room would be fine for a short stay, but would probably book a standard double for our next visit as we stayed for 11 nights. All in all an enjoyable time at the Oasis. Can't wait to go back!

This review is 2 weeks since I returned from the Hotel Oasis in Nice.

I had excellent service at Reception from Thierry who checked me in and went out of his way to be helpful and informative. There is strict cleaning and sanitising at each stage.

The maid service was spotless and despite my not leaving the room till later than most guests, she never once disturbed me.

The ladies who freshly cooked and served the breakfast of one’s choice were cheerful and smiling despite large numbers of people showing up at the same time wanting to be served. Due to covid, breakfast was served at distanced tables in the covered garden - which was a real pleasure – instead of indoors.

The hotel itself is a delightful little place, tucked away from the main road in the ‘Musiciens’ district of Nice and close to most transport if one does not have one’s own car. Amazingly the hotel has it’s own car park (at a cost) but what a convenience in the middle of a busy city.

My room was a good size with a balcony and the bathroom also quite satisfactory. Hanging space not so much! The safe in the room didn't work but as I was't using it, it didn't make a great difference to me.

It's quite easy to get by Tram 2 from the airport, hopping off at Alsace Lorraine stop (underground but e;evatprs & escalators) & 5/6 minutes walk to the hotel - costs !€50.

The one thing I cannot leave unsaid is that I left my house keys behind when I checked out of the hotel but nothing is too much for the staff at Hotel Oasis. Without my even asking, Cyril emailed me and offered to post them back to me in the UK and I have now received them. (Luckily a friend had another set of keys so I could get into my apartment). Thank you so much Cyril. You kept me informed each step of the way and I really appreciate it.

With that sort of service and the location of the hotel, I would not hesitate to return on my next trip to Nice… just at a slightly cooler time of year!

This hotel is ideally located in Nice, a few blocks from the Promenade, has on-site parking, and accepts dogs. That is so rare in any city. But the best things about this hotel are the staff and the size of the rooms. The staff were so warm, welcoming and accommodating. We were surprised by the size of the large room and loved the small enclosed private patio. Nice for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. For lovers of Russian history, it has had a few famous Russians stay there.

Have stayed twice in Nice before, but this is definitely the best hotel we’ve found. A real little gem. Set back from the road within its own courtyard with lots of greenery so no road noise. Very quiet at night. We had a ground floor apartment with a little balcony which we used a lot. Was behind bushes so not overlooked . All facilities were spotless - no complaints..even had a Nespresso machine. All the staff were very friendly and informative. Excellent location, only a 4 min walk up to Station, or a 8-10 min walk to tram. Can walk straight down to seafront in around 12 mins . Not a budget hotel, but worth the extra money to get the ambience; quiet surroundings and unique feel of the place.

This hotel is set back in a little courtyard, which is absolutely lovely. It has a warm and cozy decor. The rooms were a nice size and the bed was very comfy. The front desk men were very nice, but the woman, whom seemed to be affiliated with the restaurant (attached to hotel) was quite rude - so I wouldn't recommend going there. Again, the hotel itself was clean and awesome!

Hotel Oasis was mutch better than my expectations. The staff was super friendly and good at their job, very good service. The room was clean and elegant and the bed was very comfortable. They had a lot of options for breakfast and you didn't leave hungry. I had a great time in Nice and if I ever return I will stay at Oasis again.

We recently enjoyed a blissful long weekend in Nice staying at the Hotel L'Oasis. My fiancé and I needed a quiet break from the rat race, we wanted to spend some time together just relaxing.

When we arrived at the hotel we were immediately greeted by Sam, a smiley, bubbly and enthusiastic woman, who also happened to be the hotel director. Sam showed us to our rooms and helped us settle in and feel at home. She gave us the low down on the local area and the best places to eat.

The staff at the hotel were so very friendly and helpful. They chatted to us (in perfect English) and spent the time with us giving directions (even drawing maps!).

The hotel itself was always clean and tidy, our room was serviced everyday and the service was impeccable. The accommodation is based on bed and breakfast, but what with the friendly staff and attention to detail you really do receive much more.

Breakfast is served until 10am every morning and consisted of the usual continental buffet, cereals, breads, fruits and the most delicious french pastries!

The hotel also has it's own bar, which we took full advantage of whilst sitting in the lovely hotel garden. In fact the only reason that you need to leave the hotel grounds is to see the sights and find an evening meal, of which, we had some great recommendations from the staff.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough to anyone wanting a quiet break, the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff really made us feel like part of the family!

The Hotel Oasis is in a great location, between the train station and 10 mins. from the beach.
The rooms are smallish but are clean and quiet as the Hotel is situated off the Main road in its own lovely private gardens.
Breakfast in the court yard garden is a leisurely affair!
The gardens can be used all day, say to read, or at night, drinks can be ordered from the bar, most civilised!
The best part though, is the Lewis family, who treat everyone as if they are long lost friends, which to be honest, most guests are as they have such a loyal clientelle who return on a regular basis.
Globespan have flight and Hotel packages which represent great value, if they fly from an airport near you.
